I agree, plus it also makes me mad when parents in general use the police as a way to scare their children. "The police are going to arrest you for being bad!" that just makes them scared of police and authority figures. Not a good parenting method.

Ummmm... yeah... the video was a little tone deaf. I understand that it was ~annoying, and they most likely were not trying to cause trouble. But read the room before complaining about it. A lot of people don't get to just leave after a meeting with the police.

Not to start trouble here either, but I feel like they haven't been social distancing at all. I don't know how things are in Colorado re: covid-19, but the thought of potentially exposing my babies to it terrifies me.

Bright side, Katie looked really pretty in this video? I remember her saying she gets told she looks like Lili Reinhart from Riverdale and that's all I see now.

Why were her parents so rude to the cop? They should have just listened when he was trying to tell them where they could go have a picnic, but instead they got all passive aggressive. And they had already been told to leave TWICE, so I don't know why she was acting so offended and entitled.

They walked into Walmart wearing their masks and took them off halfway through their shopping trip. What was the purpose of that? Here where I live, we are still on a stay at home order. Pretty foolish of them if you ask me, with the amount of traffic that comes in and out of Walmart.

I was about to ask about this! I know that Katie and Ben stated they were Republicans, and was wondering if they'd posted anything else about BLM/what their stance on it was?

They currently live in Colorado but Katie was born in Alabama and lived there for a few years, she was definitely one of those people who was raised conservative and have never grown or done their own research and has just blindly accepted all her parents' views. She did bring it up at the end of one of her videos and has included the cardd website everyone's been sharing in the description, and shared a few posts on her insta story. Basically she's done the bare minimum, just to avoid being cancelled I'm sure. OH! and she shared a story saying she would raise her kids to not hate based on skin color. Congrats, you're gonna raise them to be decent humans. You want a pat on the back?

Edited to add- Ben has been completely silent. Nothing from him but the typical tone deaf cutesy stories of Ella & Avrey.

This isn't just aimed at Katie and Ben- more so any vlogger who does this- but I can't believe people have the audacity to record clips for their vlogs with other people in it! Like when the healthcare worker came to check on Katie, take her vitals and give her an IV. I can't imagine thinking of pressing record when in a time like that let alone have the guts to record them without them knowing. Of course it's a possibility that they asked for consent, highly doubt it though. Even in that situation, I'd be embarrassed tbh. Might not seem like a big deal but I know I wouldn't want to be recorded if I was providing services to a vlogger.
