The laundry room turned out so bad lol. Hanging that shelf overlapping the door frame because she had to use a stud? GET WALL ANCHORS ELLE. Everyone knows this. The cheap framed prints aren’t even hung level either. Looks like she eyeballed it and her wandering eye betrayed her.

Whatever happened to her beloved Tide? She defended that to the core because some viewers said the ingredients were not clean. But I guess it's one of those failed sponsorships that she tried to get.

My Kirkland free and clear works just fine and it doesn't cost $56 USD. Oh I forgot she hates Costco too because their products underwhelmed her. More like she can't use the swipe up links for anything Costco related and get commission for it. It's really fine to make money off her platform. But if she only pretends to use those products just so she can link them then how can I even trust her recommendations.

Elle believes that her vlog channel is in "algorithm purgatory" because she went viral with Cohen's birth and hasn't had those number of views since so her content is getting buried. She said her contacts at YouTube confirmed this so instead of improving her content she's shutting that channel down.

The once a week vlog is going to her new second channel and will be behind a paywall of <$5/per month. It'll be a members tab with just the videos. She claims it's not about the money, she wants to preserve the community where she feels safe and won't contain people just there to 'gawk and gossip' (Someone def still reads here). Also claims its a way for her to relax and put out content without stressing about clickbait or SEO.

Also she showed a highlight reel of her channel's history with lots of cute shots with Dan as a family which was sad to watch. I wonder what spin she's gonna put on the divorce, which is the first video behind the pay wall. Totally not profiting off people's concern and curiosity after hinting for months!

I do have to give this one BIG L-O-L though because the only thing I would personally care to see at this point is the separation confirmation. Though not even her version of the story because I wouldn't believe it. Just admitting she's been lying/dodging the question for months and months would be good enough! Ha!

Elle is effectively cancelling any growth or sponsorships for her channel ever. She will never get a new subscriber if you have to pay to see her channel. I would never pay before I saw anything. I think we have just come too close for her comfort in dissecting her life and her issues. She wants to “keep the Karen’s away”. This confirms, that without a doubt she is still reading here regularly. Also bitch, how do you know I won’t pay to continue watching you? If we pay her $15 over 3 months and we get all the dirt anyways, she will be forced to go back to public has she not thought this through?

Also, I can guarantee she will only get 500 payers MAX, and I think that’s a generous estimation... can she really live off that? She’s shooting herself in the foot. What she actually needs to do is put effort into a channel that she CAN replicate the popular content... and it’s not going to grow in 3 months. She needs to work at this for years. She’s so entitled and thinks she deserves to make a full time income off of hobby level effort. She says she was making money before... that’s because she was vlogging 4-5 days a week! Like a normal full time job. What are her ACTUAL expectations??

Also.... if I’m paying.. that essentially makes me her boss, I’m paying for a vlog to be uploaded when she says she will do it. And we all know she isn’t capable of that, so no. I will not hire you, aka pay to view your channel. I think this really displays how self centred and self serving she really is. I give this 3 months tops before she has to go back to a public forum.

I love that she announces that the first payed video will be the long awaited family dynamic video. What a fucktard. She knows how to market herself, I’ll give her that!

Has Elle gone complete moron? Is she trying to self destruct? Wake up! The reason your channel hasn't thrived is not because of some algorithm having a vendetta against your channel because of one viral video, it's because you couldn't stick to a regular posting schedule, or even one topic if your life depended on it! The algorithm likes predictability and prefers to reccomend those types of videos. Get consistent!
The fact is that Elle needs to be making more money to carry the house and all the bills by herself now that she is divorced and she's scared sh*tless about having to get a real job. I think this comment is saying what we all want to say. You're a money whore Elle. Stop pretending you're not. (Also a little sarcasm since it's pretty obvious that Dan isn't there anymore)

Where does she get off thinking she should get a pay increase from (max) $600/month to $5000/month? She hasn't stuck with one thing she's tried to start in the last year. Elle, give it up before your *beautiful Scandinavian blue* eyes turn brown from all of the BS. I can't wait until next week when she recants this video saying that the fans have spoken and she's just felt so much love that she couldn't go to a pay structure.

Also, if you want a laugh go to the comments section on this video a read some of the comments. I have a feeling her 4-5 thousand "really invested viewers" will drop her faster than she'll know what to do with.

Does Elle really think a paywall will stop people from gossiping about her? Does she not realize that her haters are former genuine viewers that were ungaslighted by all her fake self serving attention seeking nonsense that she puts out there? The more she says that she is not a guru or an expert, I think that's what she thinks what we want to hear so repeats it over and over. Wait till her dedicated viewers that will subscribe to her paywall start questioning her motivations and excuses especially regarding the separation. She is going to be in definitely big doo doo when she upsets people actually paying to see her content.

She may be right with the algorithm messing with her channel. But I think this is mostly Elle's fault. She reinvented herself so many times in her channel always trying to be in that trendy wave. Viewers just cannot stick with it because we all saw how flaky she is. At the end of the day, the long time viewers saw the only constant thing she does: following her ultimate passion of wanting to make content that has a potential of making big bucks and hitting millions of followers.

And THIS is really illegal, especially in Canada. If she's starting a "charity" she would have to register it for tax exemptions, exchange rates if she's opening it to other countries, ect. It's a logistical nightmare (believe me I've been through something similar). This is one of her major problems. She doesn't think or research before she opens her mouth, gets everyone excited, then inevitably has to backtrack and everyone thinks she's a flake.
