Oh, and if any of you were curious about the painting that Ruby and the girls were discussing, it's called "The Responsible Woman". James Christensen painted it as a homage to his wife and her many responsibilities as a wife and mother. According to Wikipedia he taught at BYU.
Something Ruby is not! Never will be and never was. LOL
That's exactly why I posted it, because I knew you folks would get the irony.
Lol!
That’s extremely ironic. I knew she was going to make that painting about herself. As if she has it all together. It was just a couple of months ago that she flooded their new house!

Makes her treatment of him even more awful. He probably paid for her trip to BVI with the Anasazi videos. Yet she still treats him like crap. It just makes me so angry. She shouldn't be able to treat him like that and use his image to make money.
It's mind-blowing how ingrained it is in multiple generations of this family that children are merely cattle to do chores and make money off of if you can.

This has become a cultural and political issue with American's individual rights and much depends on the leadership of the state. States, for example California or New York, mandated mask when cases increase. Texas and Alabama are good example where counties or cities have mandated them when they are running out of ICU beds with increasing COVID cases. Utah's cases have been growing since Memorial Day... YouTubers could set an example by using masks, but that would mean families like the Griffiths would buy into lower health risks of death and injury in their lives and we don't see this. (bike helmets, seat belts, trampoline)
The state COVID-19 Community Task Force tells us in a tweet, “With an unsustainable rise in cases over the past three weeks, we’re at risk for overwhelming our hospital capacity…” The Utah Department of Health estimates there are more than 7,100 active cases of COVID-19 in the state.Clouse believes we can lower the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask.https://www.abc4.com/coronavirus/models ... re-higher/
"i'm not sick so my children and i have no reason to wear a mask. i don't care if i kill someones parents or grandparents because i don't wear a mask as that doesn't affect me". i guess people like ruby will be the reason that we start getting more cases again. why can't she start thinking about everyone else and not just about herself and her family. she seems rather selfish in my opinion. just wear a mask to protect other people around you is it really that hard to do.
If she wore a mask.. she couldn't show off her ugly ass lipstick and her teeth she got from her parents (and are her parents siblings? cousins? they both have that weird tooth gap in their front teeth, that Ruby tried to get rid of and still kinda has).

We all know how she is with basic hygiene (or lack thereof, I should say) maybe she won't wear a face mask cause she doesn't want to smell her own smelly breath. Sorry couldn't resist.
cue the "We Do Have Friends," vlog. Damage control much, Ruby?
I hate when she talks and has to whistle with her s words and draw them out.
Tour of RV bathroom, "sink for brushing teeth," cause we all know they don't wash hands after using the toilet.
So their approach to addressing the problems is poorly staged counterexamples of all their criticisms. And judging by the likes/dislikes, it appears people are falling for it. Wonderful.
I've used invidio before but I can't find how to search a channel on there. I mean, I've found 8 passengers channel on there, but I can't figure out how to search for old videos of theirs without scrolling through. Is that even an option? So for me, it's much easier to go to YouTube and watch old videos there.
I find it incredibly sad that they seem to only being doing damage control and that they didn't even self-reflect on why people may have gotten so angry. They weren't even HUMBLE enough to take a look at themselves and see if they should change whatever they're doing.

I can't even describe to you how much I hate how she pronounces her 'S's looool it sounds so forced and I don't know why she does it.
Also her eyelashes look totally ridiculous.
I'm so upset that they are getting less dislikes, Ruby once again never has to face consequences for ANYTHING in life. She just gets to continue enforcing made-up extreme consequences for her children to prepare them for the 'real world', even though in her real world there are none at all.

Only those are friends she chose not the kids! Abby had a wonderful set of friends from school now look how miserable she looked while her mom gleefully filmed her!
Those were their friends they were hiking with? Didn't seem like any of the kids were interacting with the others much, besides Eve. I guess Ruby had to round up a bunch of random kids to try to prove that their kids have friends, instead of just letting them make their own. Did anyone else think that scene where Julie and Abby were talking about their shaved ice treats was really awkward? It seemed very scripted and like they were trying to remember their lines. Maybe Ruby's trying to prove that they're sponsor worthy again?

Then watch 8 passengers using a free adblocker, it's really not that hard to find a way around the whole ads thing. If you continue to watch them on YouTube and make money for Ruby, there's no point in complaining about her (at all) because she will continue being that way if she makes all this cash for doing the horrible crap she does (and doesn't see anything wrong with her actions).

Humble doesn't mean anything to Ruby other than a vague excuse when she feels like punishing the kids on camera for views.

Also worth pointing out that they have temple recommends (at least Ruby does), so that means 10% of any money they make is being funneled into their cult instead of towards their kids' futures in any way.
People have been commenting and asking Ruby is she not going to address the stuff that has happened-no she's not. Lawyers sent the letter out to the ones making videos, she laid low for a few weeks for the lawyer to do his thing. I said when Ruby uploaded Sunday with her normal schedule, if she uploads Tuesday, in her book it's over. Now let's see what happens with sponsors. The family have all been doing sponsored deals lately so let's see what happens.

View numbers are half what they were so there is that consequence. You have to ask yourself if this is worth it...meaning YouTube. You are be ostracized by the world and you don't agree you did anything wrong. A CPS visit? The money must be pretty darn good to continue. Kevin's reputation has to be impacted negatively too.
Shari’s newest Instagram post about her moving out is pretty dramatic considering she’s going to go to college 15 minutes away from her house and where her dad works. That’s barely putting any degree of separation between her and the rest of the family. She’ll probably be around for dinner all the time and try to utilize the free laundry at home

Ha! More likely Ruby will tell her to bE hUmBlE and get a job to pay for her laundry instead of using one of the like 15 washing machines in their giant house. And dinner? One more person means another half portion of not enough food for Ruby to cook (or force one of the kids to cook). That won't do!
