Shut up, Shari. Seriously, why is it any of your business what your sister eats? She's possibly even more scarily controlling than her mother. Even Ruby was, like "What?" when Shari's making her ugly faces at her sister. Let her eat in peace. Also, so annoying how Ruby gives each of the girls a piece of paper to write their ideas down and of course Shari takes complete control and takes all the paper and decides she's going to write everything down herself, then complains how she's the only one the did that task. Oh, then she also has to tell Russell, "You're no help." Well, yeah, what do you expect of an eight-year old little boy? He's excited about the RV, just let him hang around instead of suddenly demanding that he go to the grocery store. I'm glad Ruby stepped in and asked the girls if they wanted to go the grocery store, instead of just letting Shari decide for them.

Those meals were all tiny and very gross looking. Beans and hotdogs on bread? Cold pizza toppings on bread? Ew. The chicken, ribs, and potatoes looked ok, but all the kids' plates they showed looked like they had just a few bites of food on them. I am curious how they planned and had enough food for all those people. They must have been seriously rationing and giving the kids even smaller portions.

P.S. Around 3:45 does anyone know what Chad was holding up in the background? He was standing there holding something and looked really confused. I have no idea what it was.

I think 8 passengers won't be going away any time soon as there are a lot more likes than dislikes on their youtube videos. that is so mind boggling to me after all of the videos on youtube talking about all of the horrible way the parents treat their kids.

Haven’t their subscribers and views also gone down a lot? The increase in like/dislike ratio could be because a lot of the people that were disliking initially aren’t watching anymore, leaving more of the brainwashed crazies behind.

I haven't really been keeping up with subscribers and likes and dislikes at all. Maybe the people who saw their newest videos after the bed videos think they aren't as bad as people said they are and think all of the people who are making hate videos are making up things that aren't true and think they are lying. I think she brainwashs people into giving their videos a thumbs up. People must not think what they are doing is that bad.

Always plenty of candy and cookies on hand though. I think that's how they handle the lack of substantial food, they sugar the kids up, kids don't know any better. Jennifer brings huge bags of candy, plus she got more at the camping store. No wonder all they kids have rotting teeth before th age of 10.

Ruby really needs to remove the word “simple” from her vocabulary. When Ruby says something is “simple” it usually means it’s actually inadequate. The meals and food they bought for the trip were simple, just because there was a lot of food doesn’t make it the opposite. Ruby always uses simple as a description for things that are actually inadequate — the kids Christmas presents, the kids wardrobes, the kids bedrooms, the kids food. But nothing that is Ruby’s is “simple”

Seeing Shari's facial expressions when looking at how much bread Julie ate really pissed me off. Also did anyone catch Shari roll her eyes at Julie too because of the bread thing? Like wth? Who is Shari to judge Julie on what she eats especially considering the fact that Shari's strict "diet" does not consist of at least 3 different vegtables??? Shari thinks she is soo good at being healthy and eating well when the only fruit she eats is a couple of grapes and a 'peach' flavoured protein drink. Shari seriously needs to get a life. Shari clearly has no knowledge when it comes to eating healthy when the only thing we see her eat is meat and protein shakes. What the actual fuck is wrong with her?

I think every new video I dislike Shari more and more.
I get it, she’s just a teenager. But she’s not far from adulthood and she has some nasty attitudes.

I had hoped for her, like if she had good grades and good ACT and SAT scores maybe she would get into a good college and get away from the prison of her Mormon family.
But no, she refuses to take SAT (afraid much?) and settles to study in a university that is 15’ away from mommy and where daddy works. Oh, and Mormon of course.

I think she will be Ruby II. She already has a terrible attitude to younger siblings, wants to rule with an iron fist so she’s in the right path. Maybe she is also going to college just to find a husband and start having kids ASAP.

I really hate her attitude towards her siblings. She’s always saying who did what wrong. Saying what they should do. Why is she saying Julie is eating her 6th piece of bread? What do you care?!

I can’t watch her anymore. She’s getting as annoying as Ruby.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when Shari tries to pull this crap on some of her fellow students at BYU. She's gonna get smacked down so hard!

If she wants to go into some type of exercise career she’s going to need to learn that it unless someone explicitly asks for it, commenting on someone else’s diet is 100% inappropriate. Food can be an incredibly touchy subject and you never know if someone has or is recovering from an eating disorder, or just doesn’t have a good relationship with food. She needs to learn that just because you have an opinion does not mean you always need to share it with the world. It would be so much better if she planned to go to college further away, those kids need a break from her and space to be able to exist without her constantly belittling them.

I always wanted Shari to go somewhere further away for college (not for her to grow, that probably won't happen no matter what) but so that her siblings can get away from her and not have to deal with the belittling that comes from TWO sicko control freaks (Shari and Ruby).

It's not like they need the tuition discount but Ruby is forcing the kids to pay for their own college tuition, so I honestly don't blame Shari for going somewhere cheap...However it's such a striking difference from 2 years ago when she was talking about studying law in New York, I wouldn't be surprised if she's no longer planning a four year degree, maybe just an MRS...

Shari really got on my nerves when she rolled her eyes at Julie eating bread. She reminds me of my sister when we were younger. I’m the baby of the family and my sister is the years older than me. As a teen I would want to snack and my sister would always belittle me on what I would eat or say I didn’t do something right like dishes. Sometimes I would go to bed hungry just so I wouldn’t hear her rude comments. We obviously have a great relationship now but things like that u don’t forget. I feel bad for Julie and Abby. Those girls can never express themselves because Shari is jealous. I hope someone gives her a wake up call when she goes to college.

New vlog, so again, here are my notes!:

• Ruby talking about food again. Probably trying to prove a point that she actually feeds her kids.

• Why do all the food portions look so small!

• Shari completely taking over the food planning list. Whilst her siblings sat there looking bored and not included. Giving her lame ideas and not really letting anyone else say anything.

• It's ironic Chad loves Bonnie's food when Bonnie's portions are ridiculously small and not good at all.

• Shari rolling her eyes at Julie and picking on her for eating more bread. Leave the girl alone! We can't all be obsessed with unhealthy weight plans!

• Shari telling her Mother who to take to the store and then telling Russell he is no help.

Note: at this point, Shari is starting to irritate me. Why does she think she is so superior against all her siblings?

Ruby can talk all she wants... feeding her kids for one trip, doesn't make up for years... and it needs to continue for the rest of time, if she wants to try to make up for it!

They are small.. gotta cook just enough to have enough to feed all 8 of them, without having leftovers, even if it means someone is hungry later. (Ruby logic)

Yeah, Shari was annoying with the list... everyone seemed to not want turkey and cheese, but, what did they end up with? Shari's choice! Turkey and cheese!

I think maybe Bonnie may have given him as much as he wanted to eat maybe? And it was something different than 1 chicken leg... so, it was good. haha!

I honestly think Shari is just p!ssed, that Julie can eat so much, and still be thin... while Shari is on her strict diet... goes to the gym, and isn't tall and think like Julie. Don't get me wrong, Shari isn't fat... but, she isn't tall, and for Shari, that means she's "fat" in her book. So, she's mad she can't eat like that, because she'd put on weight... while Julie doesn't. Which isn't Julie's fault, and Shari needs to mind her own business. Julie is probably going through a growth spurt (can you imagine if she is and she gets a bit taller than she is??? Shari will be LIVID! And I will be living for it!).

Shari needs to be full on punished. I am so tired of her being bossy and getting away with all the crap she does, while all the other kids get in trouble. They need to take her driving privileges away from her... her phone... and make HER sleep on the floor for 7 months. Maybe then she'd straighten up.

More recently she damaged Ruby's new and expensive Le Creuset Dutch oven and at most she was scolded on camera and I'd be surprised if anything happened off camera. Just imagine if Chad had been the one who damaged that Dutch oven. Punishment would have been extended, harsh and hard, not a mere scolding.

I don't understand their fans in the comment section who justify Sharis behavior as just usual siblings behavior.
It doesn't make her actions right and the problem is not only she is bullying Julie, but Ruby failing to step in and teach her oldest some boarders that shouldn't be crossed.

Ruby doesn’t punish Shari like the rest because she’s outspoken and I imagine any previous punishments have been more hell for the rest of the house than for Shari. I wouldn’t doubt there is lots of threatening on Shari’s end if Ruby were to punish her. Regardless, her behavior is horrible. At 17 turning 18, she should be over this bossy, know-it-all phase. Hopefully she can do some growing up before she graduates high school this next school year and is off to college in the fall.

I watched a video from a few days ago with Kevin talking about his supplements and vitamins. In the background, Shari is obnoxiously yelling “dude” over and over until her dad acknowledges her, only for Shari to say that his vitamins actually do nothing for him. Kevin just says “thanks”. I had to LOL at it.
