If she isn’t pregnant, I bet they are moving. Then again, I think Bonnie mentioned something about big news or big things happening, as well. Wonder if it’s Bollie related?! Maybe got their line in-store? I’m grasping at strings.

I called it. What they are saying is it is for “weather” related reasons. What they aren’t saying is they can’t afford the mortgage or property taxes (if Utah has those).

So I thought it was odd that Jared and Ellie gave each other a look and Jared got teary announcing that this next chapter in their lives would be "Chapter 11"....which is a form of bankruptcy for corporations or partnerships. I think it's what most people think if when they hear the term? Not saying that they're filling, but the fact that this made them so emotional makes me think finances are definitely behind the move one way or another. The end of Bollie, perhaps, and with it their hope of starting a money making venture that would allow them to continue the YouTube lifestyle. They shared this knowing look and Jared immediately got choked up.

There has to be a financial element to this decision... and I would respect them much more if they were honest about it!

I feel for Jackson who is going to be uprooted from his neighbourhood, school and church friends.

The only thing that they didn’t outright say, but slides to, was that they were coming back to YouTube to document this new chapter (ie. Fish for the views of yesteryear when they built their current home).

I’m guessing if they want to have a much warmer climate and still live in Utah they may possibly be moving to St. George which is over a 5 hr drive one way which means the days of hanging out with Bonnie and Joel all the time are all over.
I really don’t think that all of Ellie’s “problems” have to do with the weather. Even if they move she’s still going to have to deal with 3 very energetic little boys. She’s still going to be married to a guy who seems to struggle with his sexuality. She’s still going to struggle with an eating disorder and depression.
Only time will tell if things get better once they move.
Someone needs to tell Jared to get rid of that shirt. I couldn’t help but notice that his boobs are bigger then Ellie’s.

Tommy got a baby doll for this birthday. As soon as I saw that I knew 100% she’s pregnant. She did the same thing to Calvin for Christmas remember?

The only thing that they didn’t outright say, but slides to, was that they were coming back to YouTube to document this new chapter (ie. Fish for the views of yesteryear when they built their current home).

I agree with the financial aspect because if you're not producing income, it is hard to pay the mortgage. I believe Jared was always concerned with money and the destruction of their channel when they decreased the number of vlogs uploaded from daily, to a few times a week, to none. The problem with coming back is YouTube isn't what it once was...even Bonnie would attest to this and she has kept up a consistent five day a week schedule.

First off, they made it sound so earth shattering yesterday-I know they are the drama couple! I feel for Jared once again because it is obvious that it's Ellie's idea. Ellie is sitting there with her big smile-just like the goodbye vlog. She is sad too but has processed her emotions already-just like the goodbye vlog. Since they mentioned being in Southern Utah on business this week, that is where they are moving. Finances are probably behind the decision-we shall see I guess.

I feel sorry for Bonnie too because I think this is going to affect them financially as well. I wonder if the property has been sold already. I imagine that Bonnie and Joel are kicking themselves for buying the property together as well as Bollie.

Joel was the person behind buying this piece of property. I doubt Bonnie would care if they sold this property, in fact, I think she would welcome getting out of this land investment if they can. Bollie was going down with or without Ellie and Jared. But a lesson learnt, don't go into a business with something you're unfamiliar with and/or with family.
I'm not so sure Bonnie and Ellie are not on speaking terms unless it has to do with Bollie. I am kinda of interested in the upcoming Bonnie vlogs to see if they reveal more about what's going on.

Ellie has had various “I’ll be happy when’s” since before Calvin. I can still remember people hoping she’s be happy when the house was finally built. She wasn’t. The house project grew exponentially because it went from her starter home to her forever home (to which I also said “yeah right” at the time). Here we are now with a move that I’m sure will not be their last.

She won’t be any happier when they move. I’m not so sure they are going to vlog much more either because I think part of Ellie’s motivation for the move is to isolate Jared and the boys. I’m guessing too many people in their community, Jared’s family, etc have been giving advice and/or feedback that is inconvenient to Ellie’s control.

Interesting that Bollie wasn’t one of their “chapters”. Maybe this is one of the reasons for Ellie and Bonnie falling out - Ellie jumping ship by moving away, leaving Bollie’s future uncertain.

I do feel for Jared, and Ellie needs to learn, when you move, your problems seem to have a way of coming with you. They don’t get sold with the house.
