They do not. But they can have Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc., professionally install them. And she has the bucks.

Why is her mom moving in with her? Also if her mom lives there forever then the bedroom situation is weird. Putting addie and Landon together? How long will that go on for? What teenage guy wants to share a bedroom with his little sister? They're 4 yrs apart? They'll probably have landen take over Tommy and cadens room. And if her mom moves out they'll have an insuite with no purpose for it

Lilias going into puberty, hence having the youngest two share a room for the time being. I personally think it is smart. Down the line I’m sure rooms will get switched and the girls will share again when it’s more appropriate.

I think it’s smart having Tommy/Caden’s room function as a guest room when they aren’t there but it seems odd to have it so separated from the other kids rooms. Almost feels like it would have been better to have the adults downstairs and kids upstairs. Like switch the master bedroom with the guest bedroom placement.

If still there down the line then maybe her moms space could act as a “mini apartment” for guests and/or the oldest child until they can move out on their own. Or try and rent the space out to someone.

Or when Lilia has her first kid in 5-7 years, she can have the suite to live in with her boyfriend

Also I really hope this does NOT happen. I hope that, against all odds, Lilia goes to college, gets a job etc before having a baby. Goes for all the other kids too.

But we know Jesss will likely be pressuring every one of those kids for grandchildren as soon as they get in their first relationship.

I mentioned this on the discord but the reason Jess couldn’t conceive a mudroom by the garage is that no one will ever come in through the garage because no car will ever make it in there. It’s will just be another crap collector/storage/junk yard like her current garage. She said it herself, if they put the shoe rack by that door, the kids will have to walk through the whole house to get to it.

I'm sure your house is very nice!! There are good gems everywhere! As a European (we tend to value our architecture lol), new builds in America all look the same to me. Lots of carpet, if there's hardwood it's more often than not made with shorter floor boards and very grey in colour, the textured walls and ceilings (why?????), kitchens with different heights for each cabinet, nothing is seamless... It just seems to be the style there though. For me those are strange choices. And don't even get me started on McMansions...

Some of my favorite interior bloggers are American though and their houses are amazing And like I said, I actually like Jessica's kitchen. The tile they chose is much better than the one at the other house (and the kitchen is white!!! Not painted poopy brown. Thank god for that!)

It was nice to see that Tommy and Caden will have their own room, albeit it will be a guest room as well. They need that. I like the en suite. It’s much smaller than I imagined but so are all the rooms. But it’s nice.

So I guess the RV won’t live on the side of the house, because she said it will be a play area. (A jumphouse area I’m sure!)

Did I count wrong, or was there only 1 full bath for the kids to use? Then the full bath in the en suite, the master bath, and the half bath downstairs... they couldn't put in a bathroom in one of the bedrooms? Like, Lilia's and give up a tiny bit of the loft "kids area"? Or made the half bath a full bath? I am just thinking, when all those kids are teenagers... the fighting for the bathroom is going to be insane. Glad I don't live there. lol

As someone who loves to cook and is constantly in the kitchen it irks me so much that Jess has this nice big, brand new kitchen that will barley get used. I host Thanksgiving every year, I would kill for a double oven and all that counter space. It's going to be so sad watching it go to waste while they eat Texas Roadhouse and Taco Bell.
