Just watched their new house tour. Anyone else notice how she looks away whenever her husband talks? She talks a mile a minute, but as soon as he starts talking it seems like she’s just waiting for him to stop so she can talk again.

Also, I feel badly that all these youtube families have kids sharing a room. Meanwhile they have a bedroom twice the size with a massive bathroom and another bedroom for their clothes. I realize that’s how houses are built these days, but it’s really selfish to have like 10 kids.

Why is her mom moving in with her? Also if her mom lives there forever then the bedroom situation is weird. Putting addie and Landon together? How long will that go on for? What teenage guy wants to share a bedroom with his little sister? They're 4 yrs apart? They'll probably have landen take over Tommy and cadens room. And if her mom moves out they'll have an insuite with no purpose for it

Landen and addy are 2.5 years apart. It’s fine for them to share for now. I guarantee they won’t be in that house when the kids are teens.

She's so manic in the house tour. I get it she's excited, but she's tripping over her words and talks really fast.

The thing I like about the tour is, that the walls seem to be higher than in her old house. Gives you air to breath. The kitchen is a joke, for Jess. She never cooks, what exactly will she do with two ovens, a stove and an island? The view isn't pretty, but we'll see how this develops. I can't imagine Jess being happy with farms all around it, plus the noise from building houses. The closet that Jess and Chris have is a waste of space, her kids will grow up and they will need that much space, it should be the other way around.

I don't understand the suite thing. Why didn't she use the space to give her kids more room? Mimi sure as hell won't live there forever.

The only things I like about the house are the big bathtub in the master bathroom and the kitchen. By the time the get all their crap moved into that house there's going to be hardly any room. Is it normal for livingrooms in California to be such after thoughts? I thought their living room in their old house was small but this one is smaller than the closet in the master bedroom!

That was the plan.But then jesss revealed on IG that mimi n glen had bought their own home,again,in Modesto.So either mimi couldn't find a job in Elk Grove,or they just decided not to move there.Either way,good for them

Yeah, she posted to someone it's not temporary, that they love living together and will be for a while.

How far away are Tommy and Caden from everyone. I get they’re probably glad to be away from the Messss kids but that’s just like totally away from anyone. Even when others are downstairs it’s still the other side of the house. Kind of like they’re an after thought.

Man that house has loads of wasted space. Their walk in closet and en-suite could have been so much smaller (and still plenty big enough) and they could have had space for another bedroom upstairs

Half the upstairs is their “suite”. Even the kids bathroom (for 7 kids!) is so incredibly tiny. They really could have done with another bathroom. Also downstairs for tommy and caden a full bath, even just with a toilet, vanity and shower.

The space by the garage that won’t get used for shoes and jackets cos their garage doesnt get used for cars. Even mimi’s suite is poorly designed. No microwave, fridge or oven? Or room for them. Or a dishwasher drawer. And the weird over head cupboards at different heights over the sink - is she gonna bash her head when she does dishes?


They’d have been far better off not building a spec house and actually working with an architect to design and draw something that works for them. No amount of bedrooms or bathrooms is going to be enough. But designing a house with jack n jill bathrooms between kids bedrooms would have been a far better option.

Where there dining table is going id have assumed that should have been reversed with the “lounge” a tiny living space downstairs at the end of a kitchen. Its weird. Loads of wasted living space with the “study” - shouldn’t that be a formal dining area or even just the dining area to allow for two living areas off the kitchen?

I dunno the whole layout is off.

One bathroom between 7 kids!!??! sure it’s fine at the moment but give it 3 years and over 50% of their children will be teens/tweens and spending a lot more time and effort on their appearance and in the bathroom. That’s going to be a nightmare and cause a lot of arguments.

Also, not to be rude. But the bathrooms are so basic and cheap looking. I’d expect a new build to feel a lot more luxurious, her bathrooms she redid at her old place look a lot nicer and of higher quality, these bathrooms are a downgrade

I thought the same thing about her laying on the island....like excuse me are you 14? I've never once thought about laying across my island like a beached whale....

Someone needs to send her a box of a clothes in a bigger size...not that she'd wear them but everything she wears is too small! Maybe I'm feeling extra crabby because I have a sinus infection and I'm not feeling well but good grief she(and her clothes) was grating my nerves more than normal in that video.

Did I count wrong, or was there only 1 full bath for the kids to use? Then the full bath in the en suite, the master bath, and the half bath downstairs... they couldn't put in a bathroom in one of the bedrooms? Like, Lilia's and give up a tiny bit of the loft "kids area"? Or made the half bath a full bath? I am just thinking, when all those kids are teenagers... the fighting for the bathroom is going to be insane. Glad I don't live there. lol

They should have made the loft have another wall for a room for tommy and Caden. And used the space downstairs where their room is to make the kitchen/living room larger. That living room area off the kitchen is sooooo tiny.

No,it's not just you.Jesss was screechy,manic and extra annoying in that vid.I almost had to turn it off for a bit.She was like nails on a chalkboard.

Can you imagine 3-5 teenagers trying to get ready in the morning with just that one tiny bathroom. And they’re always late already, this about to be a shit show. You know Princess Lilia will try to hog that bathroom every morning for like an hour.

Another house where I feel like I can't breathe.. The living room space is so small, how all of them gonna gonna hang out and relax?? The dinning room in the middle of everything?? En suit for her mother who's gonna live with them, like the have 10 kids why can't they be on their own. Their bathroom situation is laughable, so is Jess with the tiny clothes she's wearing... She was feeling very sexy and petite in this video it was ridiculous

I had to laugh at Jess not knowing what to diet that space near the garage. Like it’s obviously meant to store shoes and stuff when coming in from the garage but as Jess said, they’ll never go in that way (because the garage will be full of crap). But it made me laugh because if they truly had done a CuStOm DrEaM hOmE they could’ve just...not had the area included and put the space elsewhere!

I like the idea someone mentioned here of Jack and Jill bathrooms. It would’ve suited their family so much better. They couldve done four kids bedrooms with Jack and Jill bathrooms between them. At the VERY least the bathroom by T&C’s room should’ve been a full bath. They could’ve used it when theyre there, a few of Jess’s full time kids could’ve used it so they’re not all crowded in one room, and it would’ve been ideal for guests.

Alpine is 100% putting his computer in the walk-in closet, the (enclosed) area furthest away from all activity in the house

Mimi literally has a sink and room for a bistro table. I had a hard time believing that she was going to move there with them because I can't see Glen agreeing to drive an hour and a half to work everyday, never mind Wendy not finding a job in a nearby school district.

I hate that Caden and Tommy have the bonus room off the entrance to the house as their bedroom. there's no closet, but since Tommy "wears the same size as the twins!" she'll still have his clothes in the twins' room and he'll have to go up and down the stairs to get dressed.

they never showed the garage in the house tour bc they will never show it in any of the videos bc it will be STUFFED with shit

why can't some of the kids use the master bathroom to get ready for school in the morning? it's not like Messica and Alpine have to get ready to go to work. Alpine will still be in bed every morning! oh that's right, having kids (or even j LiLiA!) use their bathroom will disrupt his sleep after staying up all night gaming in the closet. I hope Caden and Tommy can use Wendy's bathroom to shower when they're there, but probably not.

I'm scared to see what furniture she got from Ikea. you know she'll not properly anchor anything to the wall so she can plan a "furniture collapse in my kids' bedroom (CAUGHT LIVE ON CAMERA!)" video in the future. and she wonders why the furniture doesn't hold up.
