Ellie & Jared: Righteous Ellie wants designer baby! | Part #126

Their channel is screwed and this won’t save it. Ellie has no interest in YT. Moving to a new place isn’t going to change this if actually making money wasn’t enough to keep her doing it. Moving is just the shiny new incentive to say she’ll step it up. They sold the house a few weeks ago right? So in the midst of all this Ellie had to go get that emergency MRI for her eye pain. That is what alienates the viewers and makes them lose interest. Ellie can’t vlog from bed whether she’s in Logan or St George. Plus let’s not forget they are ttc, and pregnant Ellie is bed bound.

Also the kids never did stop seeing their friends. Ellie had IG stories this whole time of them in the neighborhood with friends. They did also still see their cousins.

So yeah.... the move is still a big deal to the kids. Jared even admitted on IG that they were sad.

Speaking of IG, there is an aggressive poster that comments on everything they perceive as a stupid comment with hostility and Jared just repeatedly asks them to be more polite because they are a fan. They are definitely abusive to the other fans. Question anything about Ellie though, and you’re blocked immediately. Nice. I guess being positive actually means not having your ideas challenged.

I thought Julie might be (and maybe why her son also wished for a baby because he's already been told). I thought Ellie might be as well until she did that sand dune jump on their family trip. I'm all for being active while pregnant but that just seems like not something you would risk

Yep. She first danced with and talked to Jared at Julie’s wedding and she told proudly boasted to everyone that she would be getting married before a year. If they didn’t want her married off at 17, they definitely could have done more to stop her from getting serious right out of the gate.

I'm watching this entire moving thing like ........okay. I feel like they'll be back sooner or later. No way is this a permanent move. They'll stay away a year or two, but they'll wind up back near her family sooner or later. You can tell that Ellie is making the fatal mistake of thinking that a fresh new start means all of her problems are going to go away. They aren't. Problems will absolutely follow you when you're miserable and lazy. This is going to be a massive upheaval for their children, strain their marriage, and possible ruin their Bollie business just to try and make Ellie happy. But she's never going to be happy because she can't accept and admit what's actually making her so unhappy. Watching these last two videos made my heart ache for Jared - and that's saying something, because I usually find him super annoying.

I just can't. Jared absolutely broke my heart. Hearing about the tender moment between him and his dad. I never had that growing up, let alone now. My dad is always MIA. I could see stress, pain and deep sadness in his eyes. I wonder if he's obnoxious to hide his pain. Tries to overcompensate by being loud and over the top to keep the family upbeat and positive. How exhausting. I don't I've ever been so moved by Jared before. I'm in tears.

If it's just St. George it is really NOT THAT FAR! They are hinting they are moving to places very far away, but it's clearly the St. George area (maybe Cedar City). It's even within the same state as their entire family. It's not like they are moving to Bali...or even out of Utah.

Logan to St. George is like moving from from San Fransisco to Los Angeles! It's not really that far.

Logan to St George is a 5-6 hr drive. When you are used to living around the corner from someone, or even just an hour away, 5-6 hrs is insanely far. I live in Canada where we are used to towns being farther apart and therefore lots of driving, and even a 3 hr road trip is a big deal when going to visit family. It takes an entire day when you want to see someone. So yeah, 5-6 hrs is still close, but still very far when you’re used to seeing someone every day.

Ellie is immature vengeful and a narcissist! She slowly took away anything Jared attempted to do for the success of his family!
She ruined their channel by constantly attacking the viewers with her entitled attitude, she controlled his contentious need for wanting to provide the best to protect them,by using her pregnancies and numerous ailments on him. She plays him like a fiddle! She took away the home he built, she took away his family now and all the friends he made! He even said he was teaching in church,bye to that too! She ruined Bollie which he set up for her!
He spent months putting the cookbook online, she was indifferent to even advertise!
I think it was HS who first mentioned here the word ‘isolate’ and I think it is spot on!!!! Whether one likes Jared or not he has ignored his chronic physical pain to be the best provider he can be for his family and all Ellie has done is constantly sabotaged every attempt he has made just to get the attention off everything else and on to her!
She has now isolated him from everyone and it is nothing short of abuse!
And yes it comes in form of female spouse too, she is one scary female and her control has extended on the shoulders
of poor little Jackson too!

True! I live north of Toronto and have friends with a cottage 3 hours north of us and we hate the drive for a weekend visit. This is coming from someone who has an hour drive to work when I have to go into the office. My family 2 hours and with the pandemic I haven’t seen them.

If they’re moving to st George that’s awfully far from family if Jared’s dad has heart issues. I couldn’t move that far away willingly knowing my parent had heart problems.

It's really not that far away. It's really just one freeway to get there. Also, I think most people probably don't live in the same town as their parents. Jared's parents used to live WAY farther away in Washington State. Even Ellie's parents live pretty far from them now—at least an hour drive.

It's cool they are breaking away from the family. I do wonder what happened BTS and what BonBon thinks.

St George is 5.5 hrs from their current city of Logan. I think Ruby and Julie live in the Springville/Provo area so that would be 3.5hrs from St George.

I've got an idea! They should move in with Cullen and Katie! It'll be warm, so Ellie can't bitch about the cold anymore. She and Katie can fuss over Gaines, and she can flirt with Cullen all day. Cullen can turn Brooks, Jackson, Calvin and Tommy into his own swim/dive team.
They can contribute to the mortgage, so C&K won't get foreclosed on. Brooks will have some little boys around and maybe realize that he isn't a "bad" or "wild". Maybe they can set Jared up with a room downstairs so he doesn't have to climb stairs and hurt his hip!
And since Doc is a radiologist, he can order all the xrays Ellie wants!
Only problem (haha) is that C&K drink like fish, and E&J are good Mormons (or claim to be, lol).
Obviously, I'm kidding. But hey-- it isn't much crazier than many of the other ideas that Ellie has convinced Jared are _finally_ going to make her happy.

That's about a five hour drive and it's wasn't a big deal to do the trip. It's basically the same for them if they moved to St. George.

They also drive all the time anyway. All those trips from Logan to SLC?? They do that trip at least once a week. That's at least 100 miles each way.

I don't think it's so odd because everything is really spread apart in those states. It's 100% not like Toronto or the NE parts of the United States. Not at all.

True, but if that's what they want to do, then what's the problem? No one has to live near their parents or siblings. I think they were living a TOXIC life surrounded by family. Leaving and starting a new "chapter" is probably smart.

Ellie isn’t having them move to get away from her family, she’s likely doing it to get Jared away from his family.

A five hour drive is huge. To go see family there needs to be a plan and it either takes up a weekend or an entire day. 10 hours of driving round trip. Like I said, we have family three hours away and it’s always a big deal when we need to go there for family events. There isn’t the ability to just schedule a trip around other things you have going on that day. It’s asinine to argue 5 hours isn’t that different from the hour long drive to SLC.
