It's ridiculous to say that just because Liza and Alex grew up in the Bethesda area that they have an inheritance.... Alex has like 3 other brothers and Liza sounded like she grew up comfortably, but she still had student loans, so probably no inheritance there either.

Spending within your means is definitely not groundbreaking advice.. but the number of people who don't do that and get themselves into tough financial places is shocking (like most of the US).

Going on vacation isn't something that's super expensive. I don't know why people always say "i'd rather go on vacation and have the experience." I hate traveling. Especially with young kids because it's not even like they enjoy it. I can almost guarantee my daughter would rather go play with sticks in the park than go to some fancy resort in some place she won't even remember.

I guess what I'm saying is that they don't sound like they're being super cheap. Liza still gets her lashes and nails done and buys what she wants. Sounds like they don't want to send Cam to preschool for personal reasons, not financial ones. And maybe she'd rather just go party in Vegas and not go on family vacations. Either way, idk sounds like they're living just fine.

Kship- that’s your prerogative. You can go play with sticks with your daughter! Liza makes her own money to pay for her lashes and tie dye loungewear otherwise I’m sure her husband wouldn’t allow it. She made a video about budgeting and monetized it so they are trying to give advice to people and make money doing so. I’d expect something a little more groundbreaking than the bare ass advice he said. I guarantee you the average person making an average salary cannot pay their mortgage off in a few years by avoiding Starbucks and cooking all their own food and mowing their own lawn. It’s not realistic. I want to know how Alex saved up that kind of money to pay off an entire mortgage. A leg up doesn’t necessarily mean an inheritance I just used my friend as an example. Maybe his college education was fully paid so he started off in his career completely debt free. Maybe he lived with his parents for a few years while he banked his entire income. Maybe he had a rich uncle that left him 100k. We should know the whole story I think. Otherwise he is just selling a false narrative that regular people can pay off a mortgage super quick.

That is coming when they get moved in their new home, that is when she will get knocked up again. Gotta keep the babies coming to keep the views coming. I wish YT would stop these family Vloggers from exploiting their kids. My disgust for these YT mothers and (daddy’s too)has grown since Myka Stauffer adopted Huxley and then “rehomed” him after she made a ton of money at his expense. Something really should be done to stop these so called parents from continuing to exploit children for money and clout. I’m just over them all. I do not watch any family vloggers on YT anymore, I do keep up with a few on IG but I’m thinking of ditching those few. They all make me physically ill.

To be fair, Liza is primarily in front of the camera. You see an occassional clip of the boys but they are not the main focus of her channel. Her main focus is "look at me" The Stauffers are a special kind of stupid and totally different from Liza or many other family vloggers.

Anyone else think a "jimmy buffet margaritaville" theme is slightly inappropriate for a 1 year old birthday party? I get it's mostly hawaiian/tropical themed but why not call it that? Kids don't know who the hell jimmy buffet is!
Also, I don't understand when she was saying how she feels like she never has time for herself. If she has enough time to make all those dumb tiktoks, she clearly has time.

What’s up with these youtubers buying everything organic? I’m sure there are lots of people who do this but it’s certainly not relatable in these times. Her grocery hauls looks like she starvs the family.

With that said - Maryland numbers are down but the county she is in (Montgomery) is a hotspot and still in stage 2.

I hear you but sadly right now many people have to cut corners in all areas. Like I said I’m sure some people do but the vast majority of our country right now can barely buy a gallon of milk, let alone organic milk. And organic doesn’t necessarily mean healthier either - huge misconception
