My daughters dresser is in her closet, her closet is 3m long and has triple doors. Makes sense to use some of that space vs floor space in the bedroom.

Me - id be at least addressing it with addie - next thing she peals landons off, or smears lipstick around or draws on the walls. Kids need boundaries. Kids should not be touching decor on the walls. I think it’s hilarious that Addie pulled the wall thing down and Jess was so upset about it. However, why was there no punishment? That kid needs to learn boundaries, she can’t just go pulling things off the wall when it suits her. Next it’ll be landens, then she’ll pull a photo frame off the wall, draw on it a bit.
If she didn’t want it or wanted it moved she needs to learn to ask a grown up.

That does make perfect sense to have a dresser in a closet, especially in your case where the drawers are accessible. Smart. It’s just that I couldn’t even picture the Scooby drawers opening at all. Not that they’ll ever need to. At best the clean clothes will live in laundry baskets.

When I shared a room with my my middle sister, we didn't have a big room... so, our parents put our dresser in our closet, which was similar to Landon and Addie's.. it worked out ok. Slide one side open, for her stuff, slide other open for mine. It gave us more room to play in our room.. so, we liked it. But, I don't get putting the dresser in the closet, just to get another to put in the middle of their beds... lol What about some kind of cube holder, for their toys? Or a little love seat size couch... where when a friend sleeps over, they could sleep there. Or you know, take the dresser back out of the closet and put it there... haha

It annoys me how much she says “fuck” because she’s obviously only doing it to try and be a cool and edgy mom. My boyfriend is Australian and even he doesn’t swear as much as her so that’s saying something

About the room, i think overall it’s really cute and I actually like the under bed space with the lights. I know I would’ve loved that as a kid. It really bothers me how Addie’s headboard is up against a window and they STILL don’t have curtains. I know she’s probably sleeping in Jess’s room so it doesn’t matter but if she was in her room... that girl is up until 1am and then probably gets woken up by the sun through that window. No way she’s getting enough sleep.

It’s funny because on IG she wasn’t acting like it was NBD and she thought it was funny. But in her video she was clearly highly annoyed and frustrated, I would venture to say she was mad. I don’t think she should reprimand Addie on camera but she definitely should have gotten a stern talking to about respecting what mom is working on. Jessica should be honest and say she was mad and punished her off camera. But the fact is she didn’t punish Addie, it seems the only one she punishes is Kyson. Lilia is perfect in her eyes, Addie the baby, landen her shining light, kaden her twin and Kyson the bad one.

I can respect taking down if she didn’t like it, but Jesss is rationalizing her taking it down because they had to keep the paper up for 2 days. Addie should have talked to them about not liking it, they should have at least made her wait until the paper came down.

Jesss is acting like the kids had an opinion on their decorations. It seems like they only got to pick a theme and then Jesss went with it. I mean, she put a bunch of unpersonalized matching crap in their room. I would have hated having to have a theme for my room.
