My daughters dresser is in her closet, her closet is 3m long and has triple doors. Makes sense to use some of that space vs floor space in the bedroom.


I dont understand why she has done up their bedroom, neither of them ever sleep anywhere other than in her bed anyway.

That does make perfect sense to have a dresser in a closet, especially in your case where the drawers are accessible. Smart. It’s just that I couldn’t even picture the Scooby drawers opening at all. Not that they’ll ever need to. At best the clean clothes will live in laundry baskets.

When I shared a room with my my middle sister, we didn't have a big room... so, our parents put our dresser in our closet, which was similar to Landon and Addie's.. it worked out ok. Slide one side open, for her stuff, slide other open for mine. It gave us more room to play in our room.. so, we liked it. But, I don't get putting the dresser in the closet, just to get another to put in the middle of their beds... lol What about some kind of cube holder, for their toys? Or a little love seat size couch... where when a friend sleeps over, they could sleep there. Or you know, take the dresser back out of the closet and put it there... haha

Makes sense. I was hasty in my judgement. It just seemed they wanted to park if somewhere for the grand reveal/photo op or something. I had three sons with two rooms between them do they had to share space. We bought tall cheats-of-drawers vs. long bureaus to save space, and rooms weren’t those teeny ones like Jessss’s rooms). And with Jesssss having incredibly disposable money she could do the same.

It’s funny because on IG she wasn’t acting like it was NBD and she thought it was funny. But in her video she was clearly highly annoyed and frustrated, I would venture to say she was mad. I don’t think she should reprimand Addie on camera but she definitely should have gotten a stern talking to about respecting what mom is working on. Jessica should be honest and say she was mad and punished her off camera. But the fact is she didn’t punish Addie, it seems the only one she punishes is Kyson. Lilia is perfect in her eyes, Addie the baby, landen her shining light, kaden her twin and Kyson the bad one.

That's fine if Addie didn't want it but it wasn't ok to rip it off herself. When I saw that I thought to myself that I hope she at least talked to Addie about not doing things like that.

What I don’t understand is knowing Addie will rip things off the wall and then nailing more stuff to the same wall. What if she rips that stuff down with the nails in it. I would have just left that wall blank since the kid wants to be a brat..

those beds look incredibly cheap and Laden is too big for his. Kyson and Kaden had that Brown bunk bed at his age... but Laden is the baby. he'll be 10 years old and be acting and being treated the same way as he is now.

also attention whore Lilia jumping on the bed in a child's workout outfit complete with matching sports bra and crotch eating shorts, why show that?

It makes me cringe so much when she says fuck every 5 seconds. It just sounds so forced and like she's trying too hard to be "cool."

The room is cute, but it's so generic. She should have let the kids pick out a few decorations they liked.. made it more personalized, because it's so obvious that jesss just did whatever she wanted. And those beds are so small, they're like toddler beds! She would have been better off getting them regular size loft beds. Something they could grow into, maybe put a desk under when they're older. Instead she's stuck with two beds that her kids will outgrow within 2-3 years, probably less since it looks like Landen is already too big for his.

I'm pretty sure comments on her videos used to say 'disabled' but lately it says they've been "turned off" meaning she's doing it herself. But she still pretends it's youtube disabling them huh?

A wee bookcase would look cute between the beds, with some books to read in their little space under the bed, and some little toys on one shelf.
As for the sticker, the no "punishment" doesn't really bother me, but I had to laugh that she said absolutely nothing about addie moving those circle stickers on the wall and door. That room is going to get destroyed lol. My youngest is a little older than Addie and she peeled wallpaper off her wall with a sticker and she definitely reprimanded for it!

Also Jess, since I assume you still actively read here after your IG rant last night, stop taking your kids shopping during a pandemic you idiot.

So, as far as the tacky ass wall stickers go I have two thoughts:

Yes. It’s Addies space and she should have a say. If she didn’t like the sticker, she didn’t like it. Once my kids are able to voice their opinions on room decor, clothing etc I let them take over and make choices within reason.

I can respect what Jess is trying to do, but it seems like Addie truly has no boundaries and is constantly excused for poor behavior.

She’s 4 and sure as hell old enough to learn how to follow directions and respect property.

If she didn’t like it, she needs to voice those opinions to Mom and Dad vs take it into her own hands and take it down herself. I’d be tiffed if I spent the time to put something up for my kid only to have them destroy it an hour later. Yes, even at 4. My kids have known my expectations from a very early age and would not pull this on me.

Waiting for Addie to destroy Landens side too because she doesn’t like it.

There is a difference between respecting your child’s opinion and autonomy and letting them do and act as they please. Jess still seems to be figuring it out.

Granted I’m a good decade ahead of her on the parenting journey, but she is really going to regret not giving Addie one boundaries and constantly excusing her misbehaviors. That child is a mess.
