I’m sorry but I don’t buy the whole “I don’t like the stickers bit”. I’m all for allowing children make decisions, but she definitely just said that to be off the hook. She is a brat and Messs should’ve gave her consequences. That space under the bed will be destroyed in no time because Bratty gets no consequences. I feel bad for Landen having to share a room with her.

Its not just the stickers. How many tubes of lipstick has Addie destroyed? The coloring on walls at the old house and blaming it on siblings or the cat (yes this is typical behavior but Jess laughs it off and wonders why it happens a 2nd and 3rd time).

Even if she had told Addie that she shouldn’t rip it down. She should have asked for a grown up to do it. That would have been preferable over the “yasssssss gurrllllll you destroy what you want” attitude.

But no. According to Messss, that’s Addies corner of the house and she can do what she likes with it. If that was true and she wasn’t just making an excuse for her kids shitty behaviour, she would have asked the kid what she wanted before she decorated it.

That child is going to be a nightmare soon. I have a kid who pushes boundaries a lot and Jess handled this in a totally ineffective way to correct the behavior. Addie is three and trying to learn what she should and shouldn’t do in a pretty unstructured environment.

Nobody told her she needed to like lock her kid in her room for time out or something. It was just very clear that they didn’t have any real conversation about why it was upsetting to her mom and what she could do to fix it. Then give her a punishment that relates directly to what she did. (Ex: doing a chore to earn the money they spent on the sticker, helping to hang other wall decorations so she can see how much work it was, etc.) Teach her how she hurt someone else and then give her a tool to help fix the situation.

Instead she just laughed about it as she talked to a camera about how mad she was. So she gave her kid attention and made it a joke. Whoever mentioned the lipstick and markers is right, it’s only going to get worse from here.

Addie is always going to be the golden child bc of what happened to her as a baby. She will always get away with shit because Jess and Chris are just so relieved she is alive. But that doesnt mean she doesnt need discipline and boundaries, they just cant see that.

All their kids get away with everything, because it’s much less work trying to be their friend than to actually parent. They both are poor excuses for parents.

Nope,and I bet they'll be a big Halloween party at JesssHouse again this yr.They can't go to Disney for Halloween like they'd planned to every yr,so big party it is,plus I bet even the pumpkin patch may be shut down.There go the pics for it

Can't wait to see the house trashed again,there's more to trash now,and that was a huge mess last yr.LOL

So the Messss Family is heading camping again. (I wonder if she searched high-and-low for a private campground that’s open.) Let’s see what kinds of drama and crises those big and little darlings fall victim to this time.

California governor just shut a lot of stuff down again- indoor dining, movie theaters, bars, zoos, family entertainment venues, museums, salons, churches, etc. I bet the kids are done dancing again. She is going to lose her shit if she can’t send them to dance again for a while. I’m waiting for her camping trip to be cancelled.

Not sure but camping will probably be ok. I know here it was shower houses closed but you could still camp.

Not sure but camping will probably be ok. I know here it was shower houses closed but you could still camp.

Agreed. We were supposed to camp mid-August at a CA State park and today I got an email to say they cancelled it. Yet others are open only to people who had reservations. So the rules are all over the place.

But private campgrounds can choose to be open, like KOAs.... or maybe she found a federal or county one in the boonies.

She won’t cancel and go home: she NEEDS the content!

Agree with her needing content.

She could have had plenty with the new house but she just half assed it and called it a day.
I would have loved to see more about the move. Them doing a huge clean out. All of the good stuff.
Instead we got shitty finger snap before and afters like she’s been doing for years.

So kids in the street when there’s a sidewalk right there. Trained to think streets have no danger. Boys outside again with no shoes. Really good parenting, there. Oh and Landen didn’t disappoint with a nice screech when he got the new skateboard.

On the bike? I know here there is sidewalk laws (for small kids its fine but not bigger kids). And they are supposed to bike in the road. However she should have had them single file.

Didn't someone say here the kids went to a skate shop and got skateboards? So did Landen not get one that day or did he get yet another? It doesn't look like the one he was using in previous stories.
