something happened between Drake's dad and step mom and Messica- Natalie has a great relationship with Drake's step mom, even after the breakup, and she gave Bella her name as her middle name. iirc his dad and step mom are close with Drake, and his mom and stepdad aren't. of course Messica would have the best relationship with whomever has the worst relationship w Drake. during the first breakup Drake's grandma and aunt tore her a new one in her Facebook comments so you know they're dead to her

Write-offs only mean they’re getting like 35% at most off of their taxes on that item (like if they write off $100, they still pay out $65 after taxes.) Not sure why so many people seem to assume that writing something off makes it free.

And as far as I know, anything that is used for both personal and business is a lot more complicated to claim. Like if you work from home, you can only claim the percentage of your house that is your office. Not sure how that works with vloggers but I’m sure it could get very sticky. I assume you’d have to somehow prove that whatever you bought/paid for was purely for the vlog footage and not personal use (like when someone like daily bumps buys things for those mystery safe videos they used to do.)

Thanks for this explanation. It prompted me to google it. What you say here is indeed accurate; itemizing is limited and complicated; you really have to prove it’s for the vlog. I’m sure Jess has a really good tax accountant. She may be ditzy but she seems to be savvy with her vlog business.

There are actually some that are 100%. And most are more than 35%. But even at 35 a deduction is a deduction and way more than what most people get. There are plenty of things she is writing off.
