And where she lives is easy to find. Kids are playing in the street without her or Chris.BrittBanana wrote: ↑Thu Aug 20, 2020 11:56 am “This kid will do anything for ice cream. Literally.” Cool Jess. no...not every American does it....that's why some homes have back yards for the kids to play in....dunno why Jess cant...although in America there are a lot of glass in roads....god forbid one of them steps on some glass and does some serious damage to their feet....blehhh wrote:Totally. It seems all yt families dp this...bearfoot and playing on street.ktgossip wrote:But but if she wears shoes then there might not be the possibility for any “2 YEAR OLD CUTS FOOT, ShE cOuLDnT wAlK” footage for her to click bait?? I swear some of these people on YouTube need to put the camera down and really analyze themselves as parents.blehhh wrote:Ouch. Addie running in the street bearfoot and rolling on the street. Her feet were black ...she was filthy from toe to top of her head
Make your child wear shoes or sandals or they don´t get to go out.

Where I live children would never be allowed to play in streets.I have never seen kids out and about bearfoot where I live in Europe.
I´m starting to think this might be something american.

also in the new vlog..
Addie: something along the lines of a lot of lipstick
Jess: yeah that is a lot of lipstick for you...
[let's her keep it on and goes our and about with it] why?

Agreed: it’s not an American thing. It’s a stupid-Jesss thing.
In addition to glass, that area is also still a construction zone, where nails and other debris are still on streets for a long time.

And her cousin knows what someone coming around a corner too fast can do to destroy a family.

Her cousins grandma (dads side) was sitting in their living room at Amanda's parents and a drunk came around a corner too fast, lost control and went into their living room. Amanda's mom (Mimi's sister) broke her back and had other injuries. That happened with them inside the home but just shows that streets aren't play areas and she is allowing her kids to sit in the street using chalk. It looked like there's a curve or turn so what if there's another person speeding around it and her kids don't move fast enough.

i can’t believe that addie wasn’t in pain with the bare feet on the pavement. we all know from messs that california is very hot. when my family went to greece my sister went on the beach and walked on the black sand which is actually volcanic ash. the extreme heat made it like hot coals and she burned the bottom of her foot. and that house was just built and has no grass! the rule for now should be shoes on outside at all times and once landscaped only barefoot on the grass. i’m sure we’ve all known someone who got something stuck in their foot. hope those kids have their tetanus shots. almost had to get one last month cutting the bottom of my foot on my buddy’s boat ladder

Re: JesssFam: Chasing Coyotes at Night with Shorts too Tight (Part 142)
One of my younger brothers got a 2 inch piece of wood stuck in the bottom on his foot from running outside barefoot. Had to go to the ER to get it removed, get a shot and walked on his toes for weeks until it healed. To any normal person that sounds awful and like a perfect reason to wear shoes. Jess will read it and see a great clickbait title.

Reminds me of the Duggars and "Duggar Time"angelfire89 wrote:Because everyone already knows that she runs on JesssTime. Which basically means screw everyone else and she gets there when she feels like it. I'd have been so annoyed if I was Amanda, having Jess show up late and then making a scene and making it all about her. Notice she never apologises for being late
She’s conditioned family and friends to no longer complain about her being a late asshole at every chance. Unfortunately she’s training her kids to be the same way.

Why is Aria always missing from her instastories? Is she upstairs on the iPad? Or roaming the neighborhood again with the other neighborhood kids? Or does she just not want to be around anyone so she doesn't come out unless her mother needs her for another sponsorship?
Also those stupid popsicle holders again. They literally have them at dollar tree and at Walmart for $1. So overpriced. They might not be "dripstick" brand but still gets the job done.

Re: JesssFam: Chasing Coyotes at Night with Shorts too Tight (Part 142)
Kids with no shoes in the summer used to be a broke people thing. Parents could barely afford shoes for all their kids so they'd save up and buy then new ones when it got cold in the fall. Less common in the city but even so stepping on something and hurting your foot - thankfully tetanus vaccines are now a thing.
I was waiting at a doctor's office recently for an appointment and this woman walked in with her kids and she didn't have shoes on. It was so weird.

Re: JesssFam: Chasing Coyotes at Night with Shorts too Tight (Part 142)
My grandmother was born in the late 1800’s in Fort Worth Texas. She moved to NYC as an adult. When we were kids we had to have our shoes on unless in PJs then we had to have on slippers. She said we were not poor so shoes stay on. I used to think how lucky poor kids were, not really understanding what she was saying.DoodleBop2 wrote:Kids with no shoes in the summer used to be a broke people thing. I hate wearing shoes and prefer to go barefoot if possible. Even as a child I was like that. My kids are the same way. I’m not gonna fault her for not making her kids wear shoes outside all the time. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

I used to live in the country, and I would see women in the stores all the time barefoot. It's weird to me,too.Esp. the parking lot was dirty, cig butts n oil, trash on the ground.Like put some darn shoes on! I wouldn't want dirt n germs trampled into my houseDoodleBop2 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 7:11 am Kids with no shoes in the summer used to be a broke people thing. When I was in Elem. school, this girl came to school w no shoes on.She said her dog chewed up the only pair she had.So her mom sent her to school w no shoes! The teacher sent her to the office, where the only pair they could find in the lost n found box was a pair of red high heels that were too big for her.So she clomped around all day in red high heels that were too big.LOL.True story. That story still makes me laugh n cry at the same time.
Thankfully she came to school w shoes on the next day

obviously none of you guys are australian if having no shoes is such a big deal. in summer if you’re not barefoot, you’re wearing thongs (flip flops). it’s common to go to the supermarket with no shoes

I still consider thongs to be footwear. That's fine, imo.Although kids aren't allowed to wear them to school here.tuttifruittitea wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 12:12 am obviously none of you guys are australian if having no shoes is such a big deal. in summer if you’re not barefoot, you’re wearing thongs (flip flops). it’s common to go to the supermarket with no shoes
