Also.. who pays copays for well visits?

I live in Toronto and here my sons immunization record is a small booklet that I have to bring to his doctors so he can update it. I believe its for me to provide to his school in the future so they have his records. His ped also writes down his percentiles and all that. Im not sure if its different in other places

I live in the US, my 3-year old has one of these baby booklets, but I think they phased them out. I last brought it to his 2-year visit and they never asked for it. My twins were born last year and didn’t get booklets. They’re kind of nice, I really didn’t know what they were for.

I'm just thinking about how much that shit cost! And where is the fresh produce!??!??

You don't have to go spend a fortune at trader Joe's, buying fancy organic dairy free shit, in order to cut out dairy. Jesus. There is plenty of food that is cheap, easy to prepare and delicious which doesn't have dairy. She doesn't even have to be vegan, but I've seen plenty of vegan diets that look way better than this shit. Instead she's gotta have everything pre-packaged and ready to eat. It's such a waste of money AND bad for the environment.

Both of them are stay at home parents. Can't they cook? Meal prep? Clean and cut up fruit and veg to keep in the fridge, cook up soups/chili's/curries/stews to keep in the fridge and freezer? Keep sandwich or wrap ingredients on hand? You can even keep the ingredients on a tray in the fridge so all you gotta do is pull it out at lunch time and make food for everybody. And learn how to use tinned or dried legumes, learn how to make pasta/pizza sauce from tinned tomatoes. There's so many things you can do with tinned and frozen food, it's so cheap and easy, there are meals you can add into your rotation that really require very little knowledge/money/effort. Added bonus of tinned or frozen fruit and veg is that you can keep a lot on hand and get your daily intake of produce without using fresh ingredients, if you're trying to limit grocery shopping during the pandemic.

They have zero fucking excuse to not know how to cook or budget with groceries. They have the time to learn. They're old enough to know this shit already. They have three kids but that doesn't stop them from putting on a cooking show a few times a week in the background, or using nap times/late night for meal preps. They could save SO much money. Rachelle looks very nutritionally deprived, and Justin has gained so much weight. Maybe if they ate better and got a little exercise, Justin wouldn't be sleeping all the time and Rachelle wouldn't have to rely on frappe induced sugar highs to get through the day.

If her pediatrician told her she only needs to cut out milk, butter, cheese, and ice cream and that it'll be out of her system in 72 hours, they need a new pediatrician. If she isn't going to cut it all out, she's wasting her time because milk protein is in so many other things and it can take like 2 weeks to get out of her system and another 2 weeks for it get out of their system. Good grief... Also I didn't realize Emma was so small. Maybe I'm just used to my nephews but 27lbs at 2 years old seems so small to me.

I tried to grab a screen grab of this but didn't get it and didn't want to try again. But do they ever change their kids diapers? The one boy's diaper was so full it was about to fall off. Emma's always looks like it's either going to explode or fall off because it's so full. Change your kids diapers Trash!

Pretty sure someone in here told her that she should take her kids for a walk the other day and now she did. Hi Rachelle

Lol I definitely have mentioned it a time or two....if I lived in their beautiful neighborhood (maybe biased bc I'm an equestrian), I'd go on walks everyday!

Our paediatrician said it can take 6 months depending on the exposure (since she drinks and eats loads of dairy it could take her way longer). It’s certainly not hours - whoever said that needs to go back to medical school!!

I didn’t watch the vlog - does the paed suspect CMPA or CMPI?
I don’t have direct experience with either, but my best friends little girl has CMPA and breaks out in swelling and hives with the smallest amount of cows milk protien (like even if her mum has a biscuit that *may contain traces* of dairy. And it has now developed to include reactions to beef as well.
My sister’s little girl has CMPI and has bloody/mucousy stools if he has any dairy. She is fully weaned to Formula and food now, so my sister finds it easier to manage. My bestie is finding it quite difficult.

Almost everything snacky/processed contains dairy or *may contain traces*. She has to watch her toddler Sibling like a hawks to make sure he doesn’t feed bub any of his dairy-containing snacks. And if my friend accidentally slips up and has something with diary in it, bub pays the price.

I am sure my friend was told by her paed & allergist that it can take 2wks for all traces of dairy to leave her boob milk?

The irony is a milk allergy is a great reason for trashy to quit breastfeeding (happy baby is the best) but she needs to play the poor me card.

That’s exactly what I was going to say... she’s loving this because it’s her out with breastfeeding. She’s going to whine how expensive nutramigen is and magically have it appear at her doorstep for free.

She mentioned that she’s been thinking this for months and finally got him tested. I’m sorry.. but how sad! That poor boy was made to suffer because she didn’t feel the need to get him tested right away. Now she automatically assumes the other one must have it too? That screams neglectful. How can you do that to your babies?

When Emma was a baby, we all thought she had a milk allergy too because of her distended belly but did Rachelle ever take her? Nope!

It is really upsetting to think she would knowingly put her babies through such discomfort & risk for so long. Surely as a parent you would be all over any allergies or intolerances in a heartbeat, as prolonged exposure can escalate it. What would happen if one of the boys were to have a severe anaphylactic reaction? Clicks and views? Relateability with the other #allergymums since #chdwsrrior is no longer accurate?

If it’s a true allergy then she needs to be armed with an epipen and antihistamine at all times, and if it is an intollerance, it needs management, asap.

It’s an allergy in the sense that it causes the digestive system problems and causes blood in the stool. It’s not an anaphylactic allergy though because otherwise we would already see that reaction from Reuben. Not all allergies are anaphylactic. I don’t want to say this for Rachelle to think it’s okay to have dairy, but this diagnosing of blood in the stool for dairy intolerance or allergy is newer. Parents in the 80s and 90s didn’t have those types of checks for newborns, and since most babies outgrow it, you just kinda pushed through the fussiness and uncomfortable period of the baby because if it wasn’t an anaphylactic allergy or causing the baby to have growth issues, it wasn’t investigated. That’s what most mothers did when we were babies. That’s also part of the reason most women formula fed because they just thought “baby doesn’t like my milk”.
Now because we know more and can diagnose that, mothers are cutting dairy out and finding their babies to be happier and healthier and more women are breastfeeding longer.
(This is just one of the many reasons for longer breastfeeding for in today’s society).

Back to Rachelle, yes it is causing Reuben pain, yes she should’ve looked into it sooner and solved the issue since it was MONTHS of him in pain. Isnt he the one that she said had reflux? It was the dairy causing him gas and pain.

Emma is wearing the same shirt as yesterday. She probably didn't get a bath and slept in it. Nasty

Sneaky suspicion she’ll stop breastfeeding Reuben and only breastfeed the favorite child Asher...
