I was glad to see him get out of the house and away from Alex for a bit.She must be really annoying! He seems to enjoy caring for the yard, trees, chickens, garden and pushing the girls on the tire swing, although I think they need a real playset out there

My thoughts exactly. He seems to be having a mental breakdown. His preaching on IG seemed almost manic.

Does anyone know what this giant bump on Cassidy’s face might be?

I noticed that too and commented on her IG. She said it’s a cyst and they’re “taking care of it”. Whatever that means, I’m not sure

When talking about the traumatic lab draw.. anyone notice that Alex just talked about her own experience and what the phlebotomists said about Alex being a composed mom?
Your babies lab draw should be about your baby and how the baby did- not just how the mom did !

I just got around to watching the post partum video.. where baby is out of the NICU and just in a regular postnatal ward without tubes or wires...

Alex said a few times ‘it’s almost like we got to do post partum again’ (eg the ward allowed her the normal experience of breastfeeding a baby on a normal ward .. with no wires or machines etc)
Why does she get so excited/focused o. The need to have a second/normal/non NICU post partum experience? Why focus on that? Are you that self serving?
Your baby needed NICU. That IS the post partum experience (note: you only get one) that you were given.
Your post partum experience was a relatively short NICU stay and a cardiac baby who struggles to gain weight. Stop disrespecting your ONE post partum experience.

Your baby is your baby. Your experience is your experience. It’s ok. Just love that baby wholly and get the actual f*ck over yourself and making it about your “post partum experience”. It could have been a lot worse.
Be greatful.

It seems a little self centred to demand or create a fictitious “re-do” or “do-over” of her post partum experience.

My baby went to NICU for 2 days and I could not have been more greatful to the skilled staff. Baby is healthy and that’s ALL that matters.

Fake crying alert. Even the tear looked like she’d placed it there. This woman is just so fake.

Alex feels so strongly about identifying as being "tough" and being able to hold it together and being someone who never (never EVER, as she says) cries. But it seems like the only real purpose of identifying that strongly with this "tough" side is to get attention for when she actually has feelings; to emphasize that SHE NEVER CRIES, but THIS MADE HER CRY. THIS IS A BIG DEAL.

The other layer to this is, as so many people have stated before, is that she is just manifesting the feelings that she THINKS that she should be feeling, and it's not actually her true feelings coming out (queue the fake tears). I don't think she knows how to manage her true feelings and has learned to push them down (or maybe they naturally came like that aka a personality disorder). It's all a facade to get attention and to have their fulltime youtube career. Granted, I think she actually *thinks* that she feels these feelings, but the brain is very powerful; we can all convince ourselves of almost anything. Ultimately, I think that she doesn't know how to manage her feelings and seeks a lot of attention so that she can felt taken care of, because she can't take care of herself.

I really hope that she seeks help and talks to someone. Honestly, anyone going through what she's going through and who has the means would probably benefit from having additional support, not necessarily to fix anything, but to just have a professional who can help sort out what's going on.

Also, I really can't stand how they're so adamant that they're "slowing their lives down." They mention it in the intro and Phil mentioned it in the last vlog. I don't know about you, but diving headfirst with no prior knowledge to building a garden, raising chicks and building a chicken coup after moving into a house during a pandemic (and getting sick) in the very late stages of a COMPLICATED pregnancy is nothing close to "slowing down." You don't need to move across the country and get land to "slow down." They could have easily chosen a slower life in LA. Sure, the girls now have more opportunity to play outside and they can eat some vegetables that they've grown, but that doesn't mean that you're living intentionally and in the moment. I think this is a concept that Alex so craves to have, like some other youtubers who "live naturally, intentionally and calmly on a farm."

They may have less "things" to do now, since not much is open and they are building their social network, but I bet you in a few months or a year's time, their life is going to be very similar to the one that they had in LA, just on more land. Slowing down is a mindset that doesn't change if you just change scenery. If they really want to slow down (I'm going to start sounding like a broken record soon), they should learn to deal with their issues with some professional help, take their girls' lives off of youtube and stop growing their family until they *are actually ready* to add more into their lives (what a concept).

I.e. when the phlebotomist commented about how she's holding it together, it clicked in her mind that this should be a really traumatic moment, so she had to "lose it" afterwards and make a long story about her how, "see, I have so many feelings, I'm so tough but this is SO hard."

Her latest post confirms she reads here. She literally addresses everything discussed again.

So when I first saw a gossip forum about P&A I honestly was surprised... BUT now, especially after all that’s went on, I unfortunately can see why...

Alex KNEW her daughter had a heart condition and apparently has a medical background... I’m not saying she should be educated based on her NICU experiences but she should be intelligent enough to have researched the extra needs of a cardiac baby (extra calories, fortifying, more frequent feeds)... But she treated her as a “normal” infant and basically let her kid starve became she wanted a specific nursing experience... WTH Alex!

You should have known better! Now she is failing to thrive, has to have a tube down her throat which is probably causing her to puke, and has a huge surgery coming up... And all because your experience was more important than the wellbeing of your child. I’m honestly disgusted....

I don't understand all this poo brown, mustard and orange color for kids. I know they are just following the fashion, but can't they see it makes their kids look super ugly? Cassidy can't help the fact that she's being tube fed, has a cyst on her forehead or that, at best, she's average looking. But her parent's can do something about how she's dressed. Her complexion and hair color just blend into her clothes.

I don’t watch them as I said in comments earlier. I’m just a birthmom who know who they are since everyone talks about them in adoption groups. But I check their instagrams out on occasion and I don’t know why but Phil reminds me of Tyson Gardner is how he talks.

I can’t help this guy has some secret he is hiding. An I the only one who gets that vibe?

I get the sense that when they're camera, they are on their best behaviour. I don't think things are peaceful in their home
