They said they don't care if they have a boy or not, and something about they're pretty sure that he can only make girls... there was a lot of him doing perverted eyebrow raising toward the camera, with her basically telling him to stop and that it's family stuff blah blah. Sometimes I wish she could just do a video alone, same with Gabriel on her channel... he just... idk, rubs me the wrong way, cuts in and interrupts all the time, and a lot of times says inappropriate things.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 8:03 pmThank God. Re: The Weiss Life
I can't handle the way they talk for the girls with the girls standing right next to them with this vapid smile on their faces. It's only been the last couple of years that they let the girls say much of anything. And there's a lot of footage of the girls in leotards and bathing suits. And they know that there are perverts out there watching-- they've been told often enough. Their "swimsuit shopping" videos have many more views than their regular vlogs.
They're just skeevy. My daughter likes watching their Build a Bear vlogs from way back, but something about them just makes me feel like I need a shower.

Re: The Weiss Life
For me... it's the dad, the mom... the oldest 2 girls creepy smiles in the background... it's weird. especially the second oldest daughter. She's always creepin. And her and her dad with the eyebrow waggle. STOP ALREADY! It's just creepy AF! The mother needs to stop with dying her hair Ariel red... it doesn't suit her imo. And the Dad needs to stop camera hogging and butting in on everything, including the oldest daughters own channel. She can't even say anything on her own channel without him cutting her off or making some weird joke, and you can tell she's over it. The rest of the kids are cute, they haven't yet reached the creepy stare.
I didn't know they only had 2 bedrooms though... and they want another baby? Tight fit... But, if The Brady Bunch can do it... I guess The Weiss Life can too?

Re: The Weiss Life
They said that they have enough bedrooms for every kid to have their own, but they are being used for different uses (toy room, filming room, etc). What I don't get is they are planning on moving the toddler in with the older girls. I know I would have hated sharing a room with a toddler, also considering the oldest (Gabrielle?) may be moving out in a few years for work or college and might have to spend her last years at home sharing a bedroom with 2 of her sisters.ThisIsMeCeej wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 4:20 pmFor me... it's the dad, the mom... the oldest 2 girls creepy smiles in the background... it's weird. especially the second oldest daughter. They need a toy room. They have 85,000 build a bear toys.
I know I'm repeating myself-- sorry. But the way the adults do 95% of the talking, even when it's supposed to be about things relating to the girls and their activities, and the girls can't get a word in, so they just stare at the camera with this vacant look and that smile... It's just WEIRD.

Re: The Weiss Life
I may be in a small percentage of people who think this way, but... I just don't get the reasoning for a playroom. What's wrong with kids playing with toys in their bedrooms and cleaning up before they go to bed? It's what everyone I know who has kids does, it's what my parents did with my sisters and I, and it worked fine. Mostly we played outside because.. "fresh air and exercise is good for you". Or rather "Mom had wanted a break" lol But, if it meant having my own room, I would totally rather not have a playroom...lmmomSD wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 5:29 pm They need a toy room. And I don't get why this family has a filming room... they have a lot of places that look nice in their house that they could film in...
I think maybe they're afraid of what the kids are going to say, so they speak for them. Either that or they like to edit vlogs and watch their kids creepy smiles in the back. Cause I don't get it. Sometimes I just wanna put a dirty sock in the dad's mouth, so the mother and the kids can get a word in though. It's the WEISS life, not DADDY WEISS'S life. Though I also feel that way about the mother sometimes... especially whenever she's hurt herself or is sick. Like giiiirrrl, you sure do hurt yourself an awful lot. Those kids get hurt less than you do! And funny how she's talking fine, then she's like "I haven't been feeling too well, my throat is kinda sore" *forces a cough* "not sure what's going on" ahuh... Maybe take some acting classes, and take the girls, so they can get better facial expressions, other than the creeper look.

Re: The Weiss Life
Why in the world would they put a toddler in a room with an 11 year old and an almost 16 year old? I think the two older girls deserve their own rooms. Honestly they should just give the 2 year old her own little room, I don’t think it’s fair to make the 7 and 9 year old share with a toddler either.

Re: The Weiss Life
Lately, Gracelynn (second oldest) has been really getting on my nerves. She is very rude and obnoxious, especially when it comes to Gabrielle. In the video where they are shopping for their back to school giveaway, if Gabrielle picked something up to show her her mom and step-dad, Gracelynn had to overstep her and either put the item down, or cutting in with some "know it all" remark about whatever the item was. or just in general talk over Gabrielle. When they went shopping for bathing suits... she acted like she had to have everything there.. well, she acts like that any time they go shopping, same with their video yesterday... and when their mom wanted to get a matching "diet coke" shirt with her, she rudely said "no" until her mom told her dad she wouldn't let her match (can't let daddy be mad at her). In general I just think she is the most annoying of all the girls... takes the most after her father I guess. But, her attitude... If I was Gabrielle, I would knock her in to next week.

Re: The Weiss Life
I find that with the two second oldest, they are the worst about mugging for the camera when the adults are talking, and in general being annoying. If their main friends are the Ballingers, I understand.
It's not their fault-- they are products of their parents' greed and selfishness, but I hear you-- it's still annoying.

Re: The Weiss Life
I have never watched the Ballingers.. that I can recall, but if they act like Gracelynn I definitely won't be tuning in. haha. I can take most of the kids.. I can even take Melissa and her constant whining over something she did to hurt herself or feeling sick or something being wrong.. but, Jeff and Gracelynn... I internally scream... especially when they both do that eyebrow waggle. I think Gabrielle and I forget her name... the really quite one, are the most grateful of their kids. Can't stand the big tooth smiles behind the parents when they vlog.. I wish they would see themselves and be like "woah I look creepy!" and stop. lollmmomSD wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 11:36 am I find that with the two second oldest, they are the worst about mugging for the camera when the adults are talking, and in general being annoying. Re: The Weiss Life
I just know, one of these vlogs... Gabrielle is going to haul off and punch Gracelynn in the face... and I am going to be here for it and cheering her on! It's funny how Gracelynn can go ON and ON about something.. but, the moment that Gabrielle says anything, Gracelynn butts in and is like "JUST SPIT IT OUT!!" I really hate that quality in some people. Pretty sure she gets it from her father too, because he does it to his wife all the time. They are all very "long winded" people.. but, Jeff and Gracelynn are short tempered on it, when it comes to anyone else having a voice. There just wasn't any reason that Gracelynn had to cut off Gabrielle, when she was talking about the reading nook.
Also, has anyone notice how... not sure how to put this.. I am not trying to hate on Gracelynn, I know she's a child who needs to be taught better, and is learning from things like TikTok... but, she seems to be acting like most teen TikTok girls I have seen lately. Maybe it's just me noticing it??? The younger kids aren't doing it... yet. And Grabrielle, she seems to be very.. "grown up" in how she acts... so, maybe that trend skipped her? But, I see it in GL a lot.

Re: The Weiss Life
I wish someone had warned me not to watch their vlog today... they had to put Buttercup down, she was going into heart failure, and would slowly drown from the fluid filling her lungs over the next few days. It gave me flashbacks to my sisters spaniel. I really hope all the kids got to go and say goodbye to her, before they put her down... I know vet offices are just taking the animals in from people and then bringing them back out, but... for something like that, that deserves letting the family say their goodbyes. I was the only one who didn't get to say goodbye to my sisters dog, because everyone was at the office, and no one could come get me... and it still upsets me, that I couldn't see him one last time. So, I hope they got to.

Aww. That sucks. I'm glad my daughter didn't see it. We put our dog to sleep in July, and next week would have been his 15th birthday. We were able to do it at home (about the only good thing about Covid-19 is vets doing house calls) and he was in our living room with his head in my lap. Still sucked.ThisIsMeCeej wrote:I wish someone had warned me not to watch their vlog today... they had to put Buttercup down, she was going into heart failure, and would slowly drown from the fluid filling her lungs over the next few days. My daughter was at work today and just got hit with a wave of grief over it, probably because we always did a little birthday celebration for him. She called me bawling and I had to go get her. So I will make sure she doesn't watch...

I'm sorry for your loss, it's hard. I am happy your dog got to go at home, surrounded by love. And I am glad I was able to give you a warning about it.. I was crying my eyes out.. I always do when an animal passes in these family vlogs, but this one hit different.. the spaniel and heart failure, lungs filling with fluid. And then when Jeff started to cry... I lost it more... I will forever feel it's not fair, that animals don't live as long as humans.. but, get sick and have pain.. if they can't live as long, at least they should live without pain and sickness. I will keep your family, especially your daughter in my prayers, for strength the next few weeks. I know how hard it can be. I'm sorry.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 8:45 pmAww. That sucks. So, they're pregnant again? Gotta have another little moneymaker.
Are they going to keep trying until they get a boy, or until her uterus falls out? No wonder they are besties with the Ballingers.

Oh yay!!!! I can't wait til baby number 6 is old enough to do the creepy smile, behind them!! haha Didn't they say once that 6 was their number of kids they wanted, regardless of sex? Could be another family, for some reason I watch a lot of families that have 4+ kids. I don't know how Melissa will get through this pregnancy though... she complains about every little pain and sickness. I feel bad for the kids and even Jeff, if she's bad. I do hope she has a healthy safe pregnancy, and the baby/babies are healthy as well. Didn't she suffer a miscarriage or a couple?

Yeah, they both seemed more shocked than happy. I think because they wanted to wait until Covid was over (but, we all know that won't be happening anytime soon). Gemma was very excited though! Even though she had no clue why she was excited! She's a cute little girl, especially when she's super excited.NellieNovember wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 2:51 pm That was the weirdest announcement vlog.
