Yeah that's what I mean, she'll probably get up and go wake her parents. But little kids don't always know when they gotta go until they're busting and I imagine it'd be hard to get out of that bed if you're a sleepy, frantic toddler and it's dark lmao. I remember at a really young age having my parents make sure I had a straight run from my bed to the door just in case! I thought that was just common sense.mamabear01 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 4:11 pmI don’t understand. When a toddler is potty trained, they should still be asking for their mom or dad for help in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. So even if Emma is in her bed, rash or Justin should go help her and take her to the bathroom. I know maybe they’ll be too lazy to do that, but isn’t that standard for anyone else?Dani_465 wrote:Total brain fart on the tattoo lol. Lion king is sooooo last yr lol. Justin's ugly fuckin calf tattoo is lion King, not little mermaid. It's so badly done, too. And hilarious because he got it for Emma saying it was her favourite movie and she was OBSESSED with it, when she was still an actual baby. Who was probably still startling herself awake with her own farts. No way she knew what was up!
And yeah the new room is awful. The wallpaper and paint colour combo is especially bad.. but I'm legit worried Emma (or the boys when they're older) is going to be fucking around jumping on the bed and fall and hit her head on the edge, or god forbid the corner. That kid is clumsy! Rachelle acts so concerned for her safety, then she gets this concussion-trap of a bed??
You know how trampolines have all these safety regulations now? Well kids jump around on beds too, why wouldn't you consider that something to also be concerned about? Maybe I'm overreacting. But also, if Emma has to get up in the night (once she starts potty training) there's no easy way out! She's gotta navigate to the end of the bed and out that little exit, or just hop over the edge I guess. And she'll be half asleep and in a rush.
I can totally see Emma jump off (or falling off) her bed. Then we’ll hear I didn’t think she’d do that? Or a vlog title... Emma’s rushed to the ER for stitches.
Oh, I’m sure the lazy fucks will put Emma in a pull up and she’ll have to pee and/or poop in it in the middle of the night because she can’t get out. Orrrrr they’ll put a little potty in her room.

I agree and wonder what the heck they do to her when the camera isn't rolling. Something definitely seems up. Its like Emma has no child like spark.Boy_mom12 wrote:So.. i work with children Emma’s age, and i have never in my life seen a child show so little emotion. You know, at least adult babies have the excuse that it's clearly a sex thing, but doing all this for a literal child's room? Also, I'm not a parent, but why wouldn't you want a bed a little way off the ground so you could put storage under there? That room is going to get cluttered with crap if and when Emma starts getting possessive of her things and not wanting to share with the boys.dramallama429 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 8:00 pmI know exactly what you’re talking about and that’s fucking hilarious now that you mention itSnarky0702 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 7:12 pm Have you guys ever seen those people who like to be adult babies? Like they have diapers and drink out of bottles and sometimes have partners that are caretakers/mommy/enabler. They get giant ass baby furniture to complete the, uhh, ensemble. That's what Emma's new bed makes me think of. A giant crib for an adult baby.

That’s my only real gripe too... the wall colour & wall paper don’t complement each other at all... why not keep the terracotta wall, add some decals to make it *interesting* and keep the rug to inject some colour and coziness too.. But My kiddos don’t have to sleep in there so.. Meh
I guess one bonus that it is not too themey is that if in 6m Emma couldn’t care less about *neigh neighs* it’s easy to change up to her new interest.

Rash and Justine - Life’s a slog, with nothing to vlog | Part 30
This is the least make over over make over I’ve seen. So she made the walls basically gray white, which is hardly noticeable and with wallpaper that is just a pita later. She then threw a queen bed on the floor with a fence around and hung up a few generic pictures. She took out the only piece of furniture with any character.
The bed is already on the floor, wtf does it need a fence? She can’t really fall out. The whole thing looks like a college kid would make in a dorm with their 100 budget from mom and a trip to Marshall’s.

Oh god, what an underwhelming big girl room make over.
She clearly has disposable money, as if you wouldn’t go all out for your precious miracle baby especially given she just had a birthday. Literally a ridiculous looking floor bed that looks like a play pen with blankets..a horse frame and dresser with some tacky shit thrown on top? And let’s just throw it all into one side of the room to make it look even worse.

I agree.. there was no need to buy a frame when the mattress would be on the floor anyway. On the website there were options of having the mattress off the floor using pedestals13Cindersmella wrote:This is the least make over over make over I’ve seen. That was simply embarrassing. What an anticlimax. Poor Emma.
Why doesn’t Rachelle ever make beds properly or smooth bedding down?
My daughter is 2 in just under 3 weeks and is talking in sentences. Emma really needs some more intervention.

Actually the bed should be off the floor a little bit for airflow, otherwise the bed would mold. Look at what happened to Okbaby’s kids beds awhile ago because they just threw normal mattresses on the floor for the kids, there kids were sleeping on molded mattresses.Ld5 wrote:I agree.. there was no need to buy a frame when the mattress would be on the floor anyway. She has the ugliest decor style. Her new dinning room decor is dumb. Those pictures are for a restaurant and not your home, Trashy. Also WTF is she wearing.
I guess the snoos aren't working anymore since the boys aren't sleeping. They're a waste of money

They should just put family pictures from all the photo shoots they do or something Emma would enjoy too since her play room is right there.

The new pictures are definitely something u would see in a coffee shop not in someone’s dining room. Also, who in the world would hang them super low when they have 3 little kids?!?! They’re going to regret that decision as soon as those boys start walking. There is nothing attractive in that house.
Emma’s room looks more like a teenagers room then a toddler room. The wallpaper is ugly. Colors are blah. All those weird animal pictures are not cute in a home.
She needs an interior designer to come and redo her whole house.

We get it Rash, you’re taking walks now...thank you for listening to us and now for telling us in every vlog and reminding us on instagram multiple times a day. She’s finally doing something during the day and she has to let us know she’s doing it

Never mind. I take back when I said she wanted to be like every other YouTuber. Nope. Not with that fugly ass decor style that she has flowing through her house. Like WHATTT. Who would put up those posters?!? Yuck!! I can’t stand Emma’s chitter chatter anymore. I guarentee she’s not in speech anymore cause of the boys and their schedule. It’s all gotta be convenient for rash.

Re: Rash and Justine - Life’s a slog, with nothing to vlog | Part 30
So everyone here always says emma is way behind and while I'm sure she's not developmentally where she should be for a 2 year old, i wanted to compare her to my 14 month old.
I went to an old video when Emma would've been about 14 months, it was a video where rash went to get some halloween decor for the house and then surprised Emma with things like a plastic jack o lantern, spiderweb and spiders and all that. She is quiet. Barely says anything or has a reaction. My son doesn't stop talking and repeating words and is so comical. Even in the background while rash is talking to the camera you don't hear emma talking or babbling or screaming or anything.
I understand all kids are different and there is no shame if Emma is behind. I think she is a sweet little girl who just has very shit brain parents. They have all the resources to help her, they are both home and have ample time to teach her what she needs and I feel like they just don't.
And I'm still sad at how quickly they had those boys. I get the baby fever. I understand wanting siblings for your first born. My husband and I always say omg let's just have another lets do it... but nah. We have more than enough time to have more kids and im loving spending this time with just my son and soaking in his first few years.
There's so much more to life than 2 under 2 and back to back pregnancies and the newborn stage.
And im not here judging others for choosing this for their families. I am just regarding the Swannies and how when Emma turned 1 they must have already had an idea she wasn't speaking or babbling as much as she should be, especially if rash does have experience in early childhood education, she should've noticed the signs and held off on her transfer with the twins and threw all her time helping her daughter.

Just coming from an IVF standpoint, there are some factors that play into why a decent number of IVF patients do their transfers about a year apart.wonderwall99 wrote:So everyone here always says emma is way behind and while I'm sure she's not developmentally where she should be for a 2 year old, i wanted to compare her to my 14 month old.

For starters, storage fees are not cheap. I hope to have 4 kids. We plan to do all of thd transfers basically a year apart or so. I pay close to $1k a year to store my embryos and that adds up really fast on top of all the other costs associated with IVF.
They also don't know how long embryos are truly good for. The estimate is 10 years or so. Their embryos are already a few years old so if they plan on having more kids after, it makes sense to try sooner rather than later.
Not trying to defend them because I definitely think they need to put more attention on to Emma, but there are some scientific reasons to have IVF pregnancies close-ish together.

No no! I dont take that as you defending them. I appreciate you letting me know that there's a reason for a shorter span between pregnancies. I am sorry for women that have to do IVF and have to think about these things. I wasn't aware and it must suck. And I can understand the financial stress in must cause and even the fear of what if this is the best chance we have and can't have more. I'm sure even with the swannies that is scary and thank you for letting me know its a possibility for them too.
Either way, it still makes me sad that Emma could possibly be way more ahead now than she actually is. And honestly even with the twins they could still be doing so much more work with her but instead they're rushing her ugly toddler room decorating and judt spending time updating their house and going to target when they could be teaching emma.
