Yes, you are absolutely right. She claimed she had some kind of “clot” that had travelled to her ovaries - had to speak to her obgyn about it, after spending several hours in ER.
Despite being a nurse and searching widely for the condition, I never actually heard of or found such a condition.

Wow just wow. If she is going to lie about medical conditions she should get her facts straight. An ovarian cyst causing pain bad enough to send you to an ER is a medical emergency and can result in the loss if the ovary. From what I can gather small ones are fine and don't cause issues. It's the giant ones that cause pain and are a medical emergency. My daughter had one and needed emergency surgery and we were warned she may lose her ovary due to ovarian torsion. Her cyst was huge -10cm / 4 inches in diameter.

Gee that makes me so mad that she could lie like that and almost make a mockery of people who have actually had it happen to them. I took my daughter to the hospital thinking severe gastro and an outside chance of appendicitus. I think we both went into shock when she was transferred to a bigger hospital and had emergency surgery.
