I don’t think it was that minor. They were hit head on by somebody going at a high rate of speed. That’s her brother. Why wouldn’t she be upset and angry about him being hit needlessly? Like, you’re really going to snark on her for that. I hope nobody in your family gets in a car crash.

I will say when she described it she said the truck "flew back 15/20 feet" when really it was like 5. It was still a forceful impact and I'd be shaken up too if it were my brother, but she's always soooo dramatic.. if they were in his car... They wouldn't be here... No if they were in his car they'd be in the driveway it'd be avoided. And the fact that she picks up the camera as soon as she finds out shows where her priorities are. "Hold on wait mom don't tell me if bens okay *record* ok what happened??"

One thing that bothers me is Mimi & Jess saying he was making a choice, like how drunk drivers and those speeding make choices. How many times is Jess holding her camera driving down the road and not paying attention? Why havent they learned yet? Or like her kids playing in the road? After what happened to her aunts mother in law why did she continue to allow that and will continue to allow when they've seen what can happen right in front of your own house.

Eh, if a kid gets hit or even killed *gasp* it would be a real money maker of a video. And she could always just make another right?

Am I the only one that thinks the other driver didn’t even go over there with the intentions to apologize? I feel like he only went to get the license plate number for insurance purposes and they all happened to be outside so he felt like he had to apologize because the situation was awkward.

Jessica is so fucking stupid. I Completely understand that they were in a car accident and the security was actually hard for me to watch because it was so chilling. But really a camera? Come on can she just get passed I have to film everything even though I’m not involved. Like it’s the same thing with her aunts accident like glorifying these kind of accidents putting sad type thumbnails and then making money off them. there was absolutely no reason for her to have gone on the news talking about that accident a while back like no else could have done that? I was thinking this too. Street racing IS dangerous, nobody questions that, and it can help maybe if they bring awareness. But the video quality was really sh*tty, it had no structure, it had no emphasis on the point...
She could have made a great infomercial kind of video, with data about how many such accidents happen, how many injuries, God forbid deaths occured because of street racing, what the consequences are if someone is arrested for it etc.
But that would have required actual work.
Instead we got dramatic music, overreaction and focus on Jess of course.
It WAS a dangerous situation for Ben and his gf. The truck did save them. But Jesss made the video seem dramatic instead of educational and so she made herself look ridiculous again.

The first thing Jess says when mimi calls to tell her Ben was in a car accident is ‘I was just there!’ She doesn’t ask if Ben is okay, she doesn’t ask if she needs to get to the hospital. She is only concerned because she was ‘just there’ and it could have been her, she is without doubt the most selfish, narcissistic person ever.
I agree with previous posters, what awareness does this raise? Not to drag race!? Yeah duh?

This idiot going on and on about how the truck saved their lives. It's a very old fashioned, uninformed view of car safety. 1. The accident wasn't that bad 2. Those cars are generally much less safe than sedans. Her van is a straight death trap.
