I've really been noticing the way she speaks to Phil lately. She thinks he's always wrong and that his ideas are bad. The way she says "No" to him, like he's a child or stupid. And then later, when she's like "I'm gonna say veto."

She is so vile that it actually makes me feel bad for Phil. And I almost never feel bad for these YouTube husbands.

Phil's mom is very pretty and always so put together.I like her feistiness as well.When Dr's told her to prepare to say goodbye to Phil,she said," Don't you talk that way about my son!" And the next day,he made a turnaround

Far out, the drs said it’s time for Cassidy to have the surgery. Sucks that she isn’t bigger/stronger etc going in to it. I can’t stand Alex but I really feel for her and I hope to god that Cassidy comes through this ok

Their "homesteading" videos are positively boring, and don't get many views. She will definitely milk Cassidy's illness for the next few months. They would have no content without IVF, fake twin pregnancies and Cassidy's CHD.

I know Alex wished she could have sat there for the last 4 months breastfeeding in a rocking chair, gazing out the window at the sunshine as glitter and unicorns floated on by, but secretly she must be pretty pleased with how many views Cassidy's illness is bringing in.

A + P had one job: get Cassidy strong and healthy so that the outcome of her surgery is better. They didn't do that, and she's so incredibly frail and it makes me feel sick. We complain about other youtubers like Keren Swan (justifiably, she's basically a lunatic) but at least her children have access to enough food, even if it's extremely unhealthy. Cassidy clearly hasn't been getting enough nourishment and I really think the hospital should take her aside and give her a talking to, because this is really serious

God, that poor little baby needs surgery. Phil posted a video of her breathing over on Instagram. My eyes about fell out of my head. She’s struggling just to breathe. Dear God, I hope she survives.

I sincerely hope Alex does not look at this surgery like it’s a small mile stone and getting to her breast-feeding goal. How sick! Alex, your baby is DYING in front of you, and you have just played games and experimented on her with your stupid alternatives to formula.

Ive been thinking this too, I'm sure a lot of people have. Surely to god, with all the appointments they've had with Cassidy, why hasn't someone intervened and got her admitted into hospital. We can see she's poorly, why can't her medical team?

Honestly I wonder if part of Alex’s failure to bond with Cassidy is because she’s so sick- and because Alex doesn’t want to be too close to her in case she dies.

It almost seems intentional that she isn’t cuddling or snuggling or spending time with her baby, like she doesn’t want to get too close.

Obviously that’s not normal behavior regardless, but she’s so removed from this baby... it doesn’t make sense to me otherwise.

That poor baby is so sickly and not ready for surgery and it’s Alex’s fault for not feeding her correctly. I hope that when they go to the next appointment that Alex mentioned, I think she said in a week and a half, the doctors tell her they’re admitting Cassie until surgery so they can help her gain some more weight for surgery.

I'm a bit behind on the vlogs, she's just said that she was losing weight in her first month so her mother was told to switch to formula. Doesn't she realise what she's saying? It works Alex.

This is so fucking wrong. Why are we watching this play out on social media? This is a real baby girl and not a sideshow freak. How dare her so called parents use her like this - to make money, garner sympathy... whatever the hell they are doing. It’s all about them and how “hard” it is for them. No, Alex, the hardest part is not *watching her* work harder to breathe. The hardest part is *working* harder to breathe. Stop making this about YOUR suffering. Stop exploiting Cassidy. Get her off the internet and do whatever it takes to save this poor little girl.
I despise Alex so much right now. A real mother would not be doing this.

I feel like they've definitely had at least one altercation with the hospital. I get the sense they have been given an official warning about their masks. Because their behaviour has shifted without explantation. They went from actively disagreeing with the rule and taking the mask off as soon as someone wasn't looking, to not mentioning it and wearing it on camera at all times.

But I don't know any hospital that's brave enough to accuse a parent of medical neglect bc of their infatuation with breastmilk, even if it decreases the likelihood of their baby surviving surgery. The general outrage (e.g. think of Alex's crazy fans) would be immense. They need something stronger than that to take Cassidy away.

Also, there was a visitor sticker on Cassidy's blanket indicating that her echo was the 18th of September. Interesting they aren't going real-time with their Instagram now either. Which means her follow up appointment is probably in the next few days. Her surgery might only be a week or two away. I hope she makes it. Does anyone know if it's normal to wait until they are in decompensated heart failure before operating?
