I mean are you surprised? They make far more than they would in most jobs that somebody with their education levels would probably end up doing, it's arguably easier and they live far cushier lives. What most of these people make a big mistake on is not saving their money for when YouTube does end. Ride the gravy train all you want, but save for the inevitable rainy day. Jess will probably be fine in the long run but I'd guess that 90% of these barely-educated, new-money family vloggers (Brittany Moron at the top of the list) are going to be screwed.
the “the virus isn’t going away, we can’t be stuck inside forever!!!!” argument annoys me so much. WHO released a statement yesterday saying that Europe is in a really bad place again, because the virus keeps mutating and becoming easier to catch.
We don’t know the long term side effects of covid. They’re worried about those with Parkinson’s disease now. Others are randomly having covid symptoms, months after they “recover”.
It’s not just a quick cold we can get, and then get over.
Jesss annoyed me, but I still watched majority of her videos. But this has really done it for me. I have never seen something so selfish in my life, just for a free trip essentially. So ignorant.

They did, they've been posting on IG too. They're staying at the same resort Jesss is. They said in their last YouTube video something about being offered a free trip and not wanting to pass it up. I wonder if disney contacted them or if Jesss offered to pay if they'd go since she was trying to convince them to go with her. They just started on YouTube so I don't think disney offered them a trip.
Damn there are some people on Instagram commenting on her photos saying ‘she’s wearing a mask she’s ok’ the mask ain’t a life saver. I mean, good on Disney for enforcing mask wearing but still she’s in contact with other people and putting her, Lilia or others... maybe even the family when she gets home at risk. Just sort of boggles me how the ‘fam’ thinks it’s ok.

I think they are joining her with her pass. Disney probably offered her 1 room plus 4 tickets. She had mentioned in one video that it was only 1 room, which they were not allowed to squeeze more than 4 + 1 kid under 3. Disney World is extremely strict on room limits, and they monitor.

Disposable masks need to be thrown away every couple of hours and replaced. Her fanny pack didnt look like she had a days supply of masks in it! So its fair to say they wont be replacing them as often as the should.
I don’t understand how other people are not disgusted by this marketing strategy by Disney. Get a bunch of youtubes/influencers to Influence others that the park is safe and fine to go to during a pandemic. Oh look how great Disney is they have hand sanitizer everywhere. Don’t let covid get in the way of your happiness!

I'm disgusted by it. It's an unforgivable strategy that puts actual lives ahead of profits.

Disney isn’t the only company that did too. Great Wolf Lodge also did this as well. Well before Disney could even reopen too. While yes, it’s great you’re opened at limited capacity and a lot of other restrictions and loads of hand sanitizer, it’s just not worth it.
They’re only asking for an influx of people around the country to want to travel there who could possibly have COVID without knowing it. Then what will Disney World do when someone traces their illness back to their trip there? I wouldn’t be surprise if they have some waiver saying they are not liable if they do get sick.

yes, germany here and cases are as high as before the first lockdown...im gonna stock up on toilet paper soon. BUT we do get a vaccine early next year, probably depending on your profession (im working with children so hopefully I will be included in the first/second round) so I guess I could go to disney in march IF I choose to without endangering others...what jess does not get is she has her life full of disney adventure ahead of her. she would only have to wait a few more months...but she couldn' t because she is selfish. my grandparents lost a whole year of vacations without knowing if they will ever be able again, because they do not have their whole life ahead of them. but yeah, jess needs to travel to have some fun this year.
Those companies are about making money and making money is about getting people to show up. It's not Disney hate to call their behavior for what it is. How they treated their employees during the shutdown and right after, what they're doing now. It's been a shitshow and shows that they don't care about magic it's money. People get emotionally attached to Disney so when they're called out oh no Disney hate.
