Kindergarten isn't mandatory in Florida, only 1st grade and up.
And I don't know when his birthday is, but in Florida kids have to turn 5 before September 1st to start Kindergarten that school year. If their birthday is after, they have to wait until the next school year to enroll.

where i live preschool isn’t mandatory either but my nephew still does his prek4 schooling online everyday of the week to get him ready for kinder... that’s why i was wondering if there was no online school in florida??

I will never understand these cutoff dates when it comes to school in the states. The year you turn 4 you start kindergarten here in Canada. And im not criticizing any parents, you're just following the guidelines where you live.

But like, how the hell are some kids 5 or 6 when they start school. I find that a little ridiculous and pretty late. Plus kindergarten is such an essential. I think its doing children a huge disservice to prolong starting school so late.

You have to be 5 before the cut off of date to start Kindergarten. So basically before the first day of school. I want to say the cut off date is September 1st, but I’m not entirely sure on that. But most parents have their children in at least one full year of preschool, if not two years, which usually starts at age 3.

So she's saying she hasn't worked out in THREE MONTHS following her MiScARrIaGe. Umm..why? She has a workout "brand" yet spent a quarter of the year selling shit she doesn't even back.

She said shes starting a 6 week KA workout and will show results after.

Results of what? Shes already a feeble pile of bones with no muscle even after she supposively worked out every single day for what, a year? Yet took 3 months off and looks exactly identical? Yea ok.

If Jackson was in Pre-K, starting Kindergarten and turning 6 right after would have been extremely beneficial. It's pretty common for boys that age to need an extra year before starting if their birthday is around the cut off date and it's shown to be super beneficial in the long run. But of course he's not getting that support from Pre-K to prepare him so it will be a big adjustment when he does go.

The state of Florida provides VPK or voluntary preschool free for any child over 4. So 2 years of free schooling before kindergarten. Keren is just too lazy to do what's best for her children. She just likes to pop them out, dress them up in potato sack expensive clothing, decorate their rooms, take pictures of them, snuggle them in bed, and buy them crap. That's motherhood to her.

In Texas (at least in my area-Houston-ish lol) they do offer preK to 4 years olds. ONLY if you are on a lower income, homeless, parent is active military or the child has a disability proven by a doctor. I find these rules to be a bit outrageous on the income sector. I do not know why income should determine whether a child needs Preschool or not. I had to pay for my children to go to private prek before going to public kindergarten due to making too much money in the states eyes.

Not only is preschool beneficial for his learning but also for his social skills. The kids rarely ever leave their parents and don't really hang out oeht any other kids outside of the family. Jackson cried during his first soccer practice and crowds for severely week of preschool last year

I'm American who moved to Canada so I understand what you mean. American kids can (optional) do preschool at 4 which is essentially Canadian JK. Then they have to be 5 by Sept 1st to start kindergarten which is Canadian SK. I do know some parents that have held their kids back intentionally because they didn't think they were ready for kindergarten so they were 6 when they started despite being able to. Honestly though if my daughter were 4 this year instead of next I'd be skipping a year with this whole covid nonsense.

Yea she would never bother with Landon or Sutton, only her prince Jackson got his hair lightened this year. Whether by using Sun-in or actually highlighting it cause it was only on the top of his head, not the sides or backs. Now his roots are showing and the bleached part looks damaged. Plus his hair has literally never been this light in other summers. I've posted this before but you can see where she stopped coloring it
