That’s not necessarily true. I’m also on accutane and go in person to the dermatologist (of course masked up and everything).

Along with the other comments about this vlog, I'm really concerned about Eve getting her ears pierced because of well known poor hygiene habits in the Franke household. Knowing Ruby she's make Eve responsible for after-piercing care to prevent infection just like she has in the past. This is the same horrible mom that didn't want Eve's school to provide her lunch when she forgot hers and straight up said she hoped no one would feed Eve, nor would Ruby bring a lunch to school for her young daughter.

And Ruby, the bit about zebra stripes is not to make them confusing to their prey because they ARE the prey. They're confusing to the animals hunting them. I hope someone sets her straight on that so her kids know the difference between prey vs hunter since I don't know if she mispoke or just doesn't understand basic facts.

And for the record, anyone doing piercing/tattooing should be wearing a mask as gloves alone are not enough due to contact with bodily fluids, not to mention Covid-19, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the dermatologist that Abby & Julie saw recently wasn't wearing a mask. I guess things are different in Utah because that wouldn't be allowed in Oregon.
Good point about the poor hygiene and ear piercing not mixing well together. I distinctly remember a vlog quite awhile back where one of the middle girls (pretty sure it was Julie) had an infected ear piercing. Couldn't find that vlog again, but I remember it was pretty bad. The piercing was still in her ear with her ear very swollen and oozing. Ruby had to pull it out and it looked extremely painful, with Julie crying a lot. Also, I'm sure she was at least a good year or two older than Eve is now. It would probably be alright for Eve to have them if Ruby helped her keep them clean and care for them. However, if Ruby is expecting her 7 year old to be careful in cleaning and caring for her piercings, well that won't end well. Didn't she literally cut Eve's hair short because she didn't want to help Eve with it anymore, but it was too hard for Eve do it herself with it being long? Eve said she was excited to get it cut so that she wouldn't have food in it anymore. So... yeah, if a kid can't care for her long hair by herself and mom refuses to help, not sure why'd they decide that piercings would be alright.

I am not sure how this family just willy nilly just goes into places, without a care... no mask, or others with no masks too. And those men piercing Eve's ears, with no masks on, what were they thinking?? Eve should have even been wearing one! And the dermatologist they went to... is he trying to get Covid? Stupid people. Probably "anti-maskers" "the virus doesn't really exist, it's all political" mumbo jumbo.

I try to make all my appointments telehealth... but, my dermatologist is in person, and since I have cat scratch disease for the 3rd time within a year... I have to go in to the office. But, they are very good about their cleaning and wearing masks.. or I wouldn't be going. They took out tons of chairs from the waiting room, and everyone has to have a mask... someone stands at the door to take your temp and hand you a mask if you forgot one or don't have one. When someone gets up to go into the doctors office, they come out and sanitize the chair/s that you were in. My regular medical doctor said, come January they have to go back to seeing patients in person.. no more telehealth. I don't know what I am going to do, because they're on the 3rd floor.. I am already freaking out thinking about it!

Oh, I'm pretty certain that she expects her 7-year old daughter to be completely responsible for caring for her pierced ears, and if they do become injected, all the blame will fall on Eve.

So just when I thought "wow it's a half way decent video of the schoolroom tour" Shari casualty writes "DAD HAS COVID" on the bulletin board. We already knew this from the recent IG post, but geeze I that was tacky. Other videos have shown the kids being almost traumatized from Ruby and Kevin claiming covid symptoms, this seemed too blasé.

I found it kind of amusing about their Ruby and Kevin's discussion of Joel and his dislike of Ikea furniture and how he'd build the schoolroom furniture himself from scratch, ending with Ruby saying they're jealous of Joel.

Shari seems jealous of the schoolroom despite not only having the largest bedroom of all the children, but a desk too. No mention if Chad has a desk, or even if his bedroom is currently habitable post-flood. For all we know he's back to sleeping on that bean bag and doing his homework heaven only knows where.

Ruby: I have to have a huge bookshelf in the school room because I never want to be limited or not be able to by a book because I don't have a place to put it or because I don't have enough room for it.

Is that so? THEN WHY THE HELL DON"T YOUR KIDS HAVE BOOKSHELVES IN THEIR ROOMS?!?! Jesus Christ, this woman is such a hypocrite. God forbid poor Ruby can't buy a book because she doesn't have a special place to put it. But it's perfectly fine if Shari and Chad have their books piled up on the floor next to their beat up mattress on the floor because they obviously aren't worthy of having a place to put their books. It is pretty ridiculous that the homeschooling kids get these special homeschool rooms, when her oldest son doesn't even have a bedroom to do his homework in. I wonder if Chad will sleep on that enormous table they got, now. It might be a little better than the beanbag she has probably had him sleeping on since the flood. Because, of course, she has to build her shed, buy every child except for Chad new beds and bedframes, re-carpet the entire house except for his room, and build an entire classroom BEFORE she looks into getting his room fixed. Because building the kids an extravagant classroom apparently takes priority over ensuring they have a place to sleep at night or have a place to put any of their non-homeschool things in.

While they were making the “classroom” there was a mattress on the ground wondering if that’s where chad is sleeping? Also saw their Youtube plaques are hidden in the closet.

I bet ruby purposefully flooded the house so Chad wouldn't have a nice bed to sleep on as she loves punishing him.

Speaking of Chad... We haven't seen much of him lately. Makes me wonder if Ruby is pulling some of the same BS that got her in trouble before, but doing a better job keeping it off camera.

I'm not realy sorry for Shari that she doesn't has a bed. She has the most personal bedroom of the kids with that painted wall even though she will be the first to leave home for college in less than a year. Russel and Eve still will be for 9 and 11 years in that house and have the most impersonal room of the children. Maybe Shari doesn't have a bed because she refuse the beds they offer her.

That's ironic that she doesn't have a bed as i though she was the favorite child and had extra privileges that the other kids don't have. I think ruby is trying to make shari and Chad feel guilty for not doing homeschooling. So they get less privileges than the other kids. They know better than to fall for ruby's stupid homeschooling game as those kids barely learn any at all during homeschooling except that it's ok to go into Krispy Kreme without having to wear a mask.

So glad they got Ruby's school room finished. Notice she kept referring to it as "my" schoolroom. Everything is Ruby's, kids can't even claim a school room. As said before, good thing for this homeschooling bit, cause without it, kids would have no where to put Ruby's books, and toys, which is beyond strange considering they each have their own bedroom and that is where most normal people would allow their children to place their belongings. However, this is Ruby and since the bedrooms are Ruby's, and the kids are only using them, their belongings are not allowed in their bedrooms either, without her permission. I guess I've realized why they don't have toys and books of their own, because they really have no where to keep them as everything belongs to Ruby.

Ruby contradicts herself all the time. Before they moved they had a lot of good books and Ruby was adamant that each kid go through their books and only keep 10, I think it was 10, and she donated all the others. She refused to move with the clutter of books. Now here she is buying books again.

The school room does look nice and I am glad the kids have a nice area like that. Though I can’t help noticing how it once again highlights how much of a bubble they live in. They are very fortunate to be able to buy all of that furniture and all those new supplies. So many families right now are struggling to juggle working with remote learning and Ruby just seems like she is off in la la land pretending to be a teacher.

Other than his brief appearance when they were sanding and painting the desks, he wasn't present for the rest of the video. I felt so badly for him because he knows he's the least loved and valued of the children and is the household scapegoat. I too wonder why they didn't have him helping with the assembly of the large table and the bookshelves since to Ruby and Kevin that's all he's good for.

Oh, that's not all he's good for. He's good for getting views. He's even been loaned out to Bonnie and Julie for use in their videos.
The whole family is despicable. (Meaning the adults-- the kids can't help it. They have no choice)

Amen, to all of this. It's absolutely incredible, as in literally unbelievable, to me that so many THOUSANDS of viewers can overlook this. Their likes ratio is back up very high. How can all of these viewers ignore the fact that she is so obviously hiding Chad and his room from view because it clearly is in shambles? There's no way he's even staying in it. He's no doubt sleeping on the couch in the basement. If she even allows that. I thought all these tween viewers loved Chad? Do they just objectify him so much that they don't give a shit that he's obviously neglected as long as Ruby throws in the occasional shirtless shot of him? It's disgusting. The re-carpeting really blew my mind because that is something his room EXPLICITLY NEEDED and she got it done in the rest of the house first instead.

Maybe Chad has put his foot down and has said leave me and my private space of the house out of the videos. But I don't think so, this is more of her punishing him, but she's wisened up to keep it off camera. Once again, it absolutely repulses me that this horrible woman still has a youtube channel.

Have amy of you watched the Griffiths family videos of when Ruby was an only child? And when Beau was a tot and she pushed him off the bike onto his face? Her mother picked him up off the ground & checked him. Her dad was filming. Neither of them said a word to her. She was a terror.
