Re: Phil and Alex: Struggling With Maternity After Laboring For Eternity | Part 10
Looks like Alex is back to her pre-pregnancy restrictive eating-disordered diet. And of course she is inflicting it on her daughters. Are they fed anything other than bread, avocado, tuna, cucumber/zucchini, tomato and eggs?
And what's with all the self-pride about "eating local". Has she never met anyone that has a veggie patch or a couple of chickens in their backyard in SUBURBIA? Their degree of homesteading is equivalent to what millions of other people have been doing each year - from their tiny backyards.

The whole homesteading thing is utterly boring..... I know several families that have gardens and chickens... they never once bring it up in conversation. Especially not to brag about how orange their yolks are! Spare me. Please.
Does anyone get the feeling that the real reason they left California was because it was too liberal for them?

Their diet is "whatever Alex wants". As evidenced by:
1. Kinsley being fed a sugar free cake on her first birthday bc Alex was anti-sugar. Kinsley spit it out.
2. Alex going from crunchy granola in their condo, to making the whole family survive mostly on huge loaves of Costco bread and avocados while in the RV bc she didn't want to wash any dishes or clean up the space to cook.
3. Alex stuffing her face at 2am for 5 months while they were living in the RV bc she was pregnant and that's what pregnant women apparently do.
And they are now back to Alex's diet of toast, eggs, avocado and the occasional vegetable.
Poor kids. It really is the "Alex show, plus a couple of other people that live there and do what she says."

Re: Phil and Alex: Struggling With Maternity After Laboring For Eternity | Part 10
It's like when she was in labour for days on end, the noises she was making was textbook what you see actresses do when "in labour" on tc or in a movie. None of it sounded natural, it was what Alex thought it should be like.spicy_dreams wrote:Oh totally! I'm into those YouTube channels too hehe. My fav is "the dialogue body language", so good! She talks a lot about how our own emotional responses are a sometimes the best way to tell if somebody is faking their own emotions.Kataja wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 12:16 amYou don't feel sympathy because her emotion isn't real. (I've been watching too much of youtube channel 'observe' )spicy_dreams wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 10:26 pm Godddddd. I've seen her cry before but still, every time, it takes me by surprise. I can't get over it lmao. Is it weird that I want to slap her every time?! And usually seeing people cry makes me cry too, I think her crying is just so fake and dramatic it gets ZERO sympathy out of me. It's like, come on girl. Cut that shit out it makes you look like an actual insane toddler.
The open mouth sobbing. The eyes squeezed shut. THE FIST POUNDING ON HER CHEST. Did she just never phase out of the way she cried as a child? Why? I've literally never seen an adult cry this way. And it's not just that! It's that she *records* herself doing this and posts it online. Does she not feel embarrassed?!?!
Most people can subconsciously differentiate what is a real emotion and what is not. I think it is about the micro expressions that our brains are tuned to recognize.
I don't think I've ever, ever actually felt sad looking at Alex cry. And I don't think it's just because she's fake crying, I think it's also just the entire spectacle of her over the top dramatics. Sometimes she probably does have genuine emotion but she hams it up for the camera, and also the emotion is never for anybody else it's rooted in her own narcissism.
The video Alex made about her sister's death was what brought me to their channel in the first place. I saw the black and white, open mouth sobbing thumbnail and "dead sister" (I forget the specifics) title. I was like, "no fucking way", I could NOT believe somebody would actually whore out their DEAD SISTER for fucking youtube. The thumbnail was next level, shameless drama. It's like what you might expect from an SNL skit about a shameless youtuber whoring out their dead sister for views. I was genuinely really shocked, but I still thought mayyyyybe she was just so deep in her grief she couldn't see straight. But nope, that's just Alex.
I realise now she's just a textbook narcissist, probably trying to mimic what she thinks other people do when they're upset. She can't actually cry for other people but she can cry about herself, so she channels that in order to get some red eyes and tears happening and then she acts out her "what people do when they cry" bit.

Well if that isn't the understatement of the century, I don't know what is. If Alex could earn a living by lactating, she would. This woman is bizarre.

Y'all see Alex's new ig post? The video of Phil throwing Cassidy around on the bed, not supporting her head. They are so careless with her! She's still so tiny and fragile. The comments are crazy too. 95% insane fans trying to win the prize for "who loves their family the most", 5% people calling them out. Somebody says he needs to support her head and be careful, some bitch replies with some bullshit about how "Alex is a NICU nurse, I think she knows what's best for Cassidy." Like what the fuck lol. They're literally telling him to support her head because he's being reckless with a tiny sick baby. P&A's following is like a cult.

The girls always look so homeless - it drives me insane !!!! Brush their hair!! Kinsley is my favorite and that girl is smart I would bet in a year or so she will be learning how to do her own hair since nobody ever seems to have time. She is very girly & probably wants to look neat. They haven't put either of the girls in new clothes in months. I don't doubt Alex's love for her girls I just think she doesn't focus on their appearance because she's busy picking cucumbers or posting pics of her milk that we've seen 1000xs more than we needed.

The only time the girls have looked put together recently was when the grandparents were there after Cassidy was born.mg1978 wrote:The girls always look so homeless - it drives me insane !!!! Cassidy is old enough to not necessarily need head support anymore... I also really wouldn’t call that “throwing her around the bed”spicy_dreams wrote:Y'all see Alex's new ig post? No, it wasn’t the most gentle movement, but it’s not like he’s just tossing her across the mattress.

I didn’t even laugh watching though. How were people crying laughing? It wasn’t all that funny to me

Re: Phil and Alex: Struggling With Maternity After Laboring For Eternity | Part 10
Was that "throw" hard enough to cause any damage? Almost certainly not.
Was it over a threshold that we should expect to see? Absolutely. It made me uncomfortable. Even Phil's OWN FATHER can be heard saying "don't throw her!" And then Phil was more gentle the next time - which means he knew he shouldn't have done that. Honestly, people make mistakes, and I'd rather judge people on how they react to those mistakes and do better next time. But my mind still boggles that he even chose to make her go airborne the first time.
And that their fans are so infatuated with them that they all thought it was hilarious and sweet....
