I don't know if its to early to be a little sappy but I couldn't imagine buying a home and bringing all three of my children through the same front door just to give it all up for a materialistic home they most likely can't afford, now most likely by the end of this year they probably won't even have neither Its horrifying how self centered they are

They didn’t live there when they had Jackson so she probably has no emotional attachment. I understand what you’re saying though, I was devastated having to leave the house I lived in when I brought my baby home

I will never understand these cutoff dates when it comes to school in the states. The year you turn 4 you start kindergarten here in Canada. And im not criticizing any parents, you're just following the guidelines where you live.

But like, how the hell are some kids 5 or 6 when they start school. I find that a little ridiculous and pretty late. Plus kindergarten is such an essential. I think its doing children a huge disservice to prolong starting school so late.

The state of Florida provides VPK or voluntary preschool free for any child over 4. So 2 years of free schooling before kindergarten. Keren is just too lazy to do what's best for her children. She just likes to pop them out, dress them up in potato sack expensive clothing, decorate their rooms, take pictures of them, snuggle them in bed, and buy them crap. That's motherhood to her.

In Texas (at least in my area-Houston-ish lol) they do offer preK to 4 years olds. ONLY if you are on a lower income, homeless, parent is active military or the child has a disability proven by a doctor. I find these rules to be a bit outrageous on the income sector. I do not know why income should determine whether a child needs Preschool or not. I had to pay for my children to go to private prek before going to public kindergarten due to making too much money in the states eyes.

Just to answer your question (I am an early childhood educator), the reason income determines who goes to public (free) preschool in the states is because people with lower income are less likely to have the means of ensuring their children get the proper social/emotional/academic learning opportunities as those who come from middle/upper class families. Families in poverty are often so stressed out due to stress from not being able to pay their bills, working super hard to stay current on bills, and they can’t afford to pay for their kids to go to preschool. People who have a higher income oftentimes have a) have more time to devote to their kids’ development because they aren’t quite as exhausted and overworked and b) are more likely to be able to afford a private preschool. It sucks that not all kids are offered free pre-k. Universal preschool really needs to become a “thing” here in the states.

I have no problem with them not taking them together all mine were 14 months apart I took them every where together . whackson didn't need a hair cut he has issues with landon getting any attention as soon as they started commenting on landon and how nice he looked he needed one interrupting because he cannot stand not being the center of attention. I'm older sorry I don't get having to leave your kids home because you cannot handle them if they were sick yes but maybe she shouldn't stop popping them out if she can't handle them

Khoa frequently says his great work ethic and appreciation for things comes from his hard upbringing and he wants to instill the same values in his boys..so maybe get your wife on the same page??

Keren can't go to the store without bringing home a bunch of toys that probably get touched a few times and forgotten about.

Jackson and Landon are at the age where they could start doing 'chores' in exchange for stickers on a chore chart or something like that. They could work up to getting a new toy. I'm not sure if they are already doing that, but if Khoa doesn't want these kids to grow up entitled, he better put his foot down before it's too late.
