I don't know if any of you saw the pumpkin bar video, but how did her microwave not take a shit when she put the metal bowl in?

I could not believe the bowl incident, either. I honestly thought I was seeing things until the comments went nuts! “Was that a metal bowl?” “Did you just put a metal bowl in the microwave?”, etc. Mama Bear Jill chimed in that it was NOT a metal bowl (because her daughter is not *that* stupid...), but the look on Mike’s face was telling. That man was trying to decide if it would be safe to mention the viewer’s concerns. But, he did and Tawra was like ‘Did I do that?? Oh yeah, guess I did...ha ha’ She’s damn lucky that she didn’t start a fire. Not sure if Mama Bear retracted her blind defense of her perfect child.

Also, have any of you checked out BJ’s big (ahem) adventure? He’s living “off grid” according to Tawra. His videos are repetitive and poorly done. He claims to be a single guy - no family (meaning no wife, kids or girlfriend) who’s living the great RV/tiny house life on his own with his two cats on some land he rents across from a Love’s truck stop. He’s tatted up on his arms (can’t see that being parental-approved) and he quit his job as a mobile phone salesman (that Tawra bragged he was sooo good at and was making more money than Mom and Dad...) so he could live in an old 1996 RV and do whatever, I guess. If I understood correctly, the POS RV has been giving him grief over the last 2 whole months he’s been living “off grid”. He showers at the gym or at his parents. Tawra also said he does his laundry there. The cats shit and pee and cough up hair balls in the RV, which stink up the whole thing. So between saying he’s going to use his parent’s truck if he trades this RV in for a smaller, pullable unit, mooching food off mom & dad, showers and laundry off of his parents, he’s not much of an “on his own” success story. I’m not sure what he does all day because his RV is a pit. Working at a Zombie paint-Ball place can’t bring in much for an incredibly “smart” guy who quit his super-lucrative job because he was tired of getting yelled at (per his mama). For someone who preaches and preaches to others about what they do wrong in their parenting, her oldest, at least, is NOT someone who I’d want my daughter bringing home. BJ is just like his mom, dreaming up big schemes and going to end up flopping. We’ll see how long he stays in that RV when it gets cold and snowy. He gets depressed now...just wait.

Oh, sorry. It's not Dave, it is BJ. I get them all confused. I found the channel and only viewed "what I hate about school." LOAD commented that they agreed with what he said and school is a "waste if time."

Um, no. He complained about being called on to read because his hand wasn't up. He is as dense as his parents. What the other kids caught on to is that if you raise your hand, you don't get called. I thought everyone knew that. He also complained about asking permission to go to the bathroom and the teachers saying no. I was a stoner/raver in high school and never was I denied a bathroom break. Meaning, it was very likely he took advantage of leaving to go pee for a "break" so he became suspect. He looks shady AF. Comb your hair. He looks like he just woke up in all the thumbnails to his videos.

I honestly didn't look at the time stamp but if he posted that in high school and his parents are telling him school is a "waste of time" then why was he going to school in the first place?! Imagine going up to a Nobel Prize winning researcher and asking them if school is a "waste if time?"

I think both BJ and Elly have ink. I remember seeing a triangle tattoo of some sort on her arm in their traveling video last year. Those kiddos are grown and can do what they want. I really care less if they let BJ mooch off of them, but don’t preach to others about what they are doing wrong with their kiddos when your own have a long way to go before they can be seen as “model children.”

Yes, they are back to one live show a week on FB. They mention Youtube, so I’m guessing the videos are on there, as well. She and Mama Bear comment on BJ’s videos, which is nice that they support him, but my goodness, just a few short years ago she was pleading to her followers that BJ owed $600 for an ER visit and they didn’t think they should have to pay it (they thought they had negotiated a lower price at the time of visit). Anyway, a follower suggested he claim low income so he could get aid and Tawra’s face lit up like a Christmas Tree. No sure how that all worked out, but they just disappoint me and tire me out. I keep watching them because it’s like a slow motion train wreck. I started watching in the beginning because they seemed like a nice family that liked to save money. So do I, and I have enjoyed their table chats about their life stories. The sickness stuff never set well with me, but I enjoyed her soap videos immensely. Yes, she’d goof, but so do I so I learned what to do if my soap got away from me or I goofed up a color. But like many have said in this thread, something changed. The sickness train was being ridden only when necessary. Despite being so chronically ill, she’d come up with ideas (the Grocery Group, her Etsy store, then the Soap Store) work her and Mike and the kids’ tails off getting these ideas up and running only to call it quits when she got board with it. Usually she claims she’s too sick to do it and needs a break - so she quits and makes a big deal out of it then turns around and does something like claim she’s going to redo their kitchen for $200... The numbers never did add up on that one then she stuck Rustoleum by getting then to refund her for the product she bought because she didn’t know what the hell she was doing... She kept those counters, so they were clearly not that bad. Remember when she tried to stuck it to Quaker Oats for a glass shard in her oatmeal? That shard came from one of her own Corelle bowls. She admitted it, but don’t throw w good company like Quaker Oats under the bus until you are for certain it is what you say it is and give the company a chance to make it right. She causes chaos for nothing.

Anyway, the ideas keep going. They hate their house and want to move (forever). They hate the neighbors and their dogs. I bet their neighbors aren’t crazy about all the trucks that come unloading books and filming outdoors. The latest wild hair idea was in the form of buying a 3Million dollar business near A national park in the mountains near where she used to live. It had land and cabins to rent out. Sounded like a good fit for someone who knows what they are doing and does not give up or tire easily... Anyway, she posted pics of a visit from their friends at Alderman Farms and I figured they were hatching a plan. They planned on trying to buy this place and rent out the cabins and have seminars to make soap and bread... But when she called the realtor on Monday, they missed putting in an offer by an hour (supposedly). I doubt it was an hour, but that sounds good and dramatic for the show. So the are back on the endless hunt. His keeps slamming these door because he has something greater waiting for them, I guess. But seriously, I would think Mike would want to run as far as he could from these types of schemes. I get tickled when he’s clearly annoyed with her going live to get advice from viewers with her ideas. (Can’t get hubby to budge, get the viewers to side with you and DELETE those that don’t!!) IF the would have bought this, it would become a family commune with some room for others to join. Tawra would build her dream them collapse under the weight of what she had created as she has done before. (Like the FREE bibles...that became too costly so now get followers send money to help them do the Lord’s work! ) Like I said, it’s like watching a slow motion train wreck!

you are 100% spot on in your assessment. You don't know how accurate you are. I know them. The CFS is such BULL*****. She has a undiagnosed mental disorder that no one in her family can get her to get help for. You can never get narcissists to go to therapy. She is a quitter. Everything she does loses money so she quits before even giving things a chance. So sadly BJ picked up on his mom's fake issues all his life. They spent thousands on Doctors to find out he was fat and lazy. Poor kid never stood a chance with her as a mom. I have never hated anyone more than Tawra. They support Jill. I saw some of the saving money videos from Bond 007 RV living and he doesn't seem to understand the purpose of spending less. He quit his job and has changed his standard of living to meet his needs. This is all fine and dandy. But he says he is "saving" around $1500 per month because he isn't paying rent. But, he forgets he no longer has his higher paying job, so it's not like he is tucking away this "money savings" for something better.

You are just living in a dump because that's what you can afford. There is no money saving because there is no money to save.

Anyway, he also said he pays $350 just to park monthly. Do they not have RV parks in Colorado? I thought is cost about that much for an RV park and he doesn't have electricity or sewage.

I thought it was funny for someone who had NO money to pay his medical bills (“maybe BJ should declare low income”) he had mine to travel to Germany with a girl (a friend) and have LASIK. I guess if there is a will, there’s a way. Oh, and in one of the RV videos, BJ says he stores his beer in the fridge...
