Night weaning is one of the biggest contributors to depleting milk supply. Her supply is about to take a huge hit if she doesn’t at least pump through the night and she’s planning to wean that many feedings.

And she’s surprised she “lost her milk” with Emma by 6 months. Go figure.

How do you lessen a feed by 1-2 min? My baby eats a different duration every time. She probably only lets them nurse 10 minutes tops each feed. If she’s not letting them feed until she is “empty” that’s really going to mess up her supply.
Less demand = less milk produced
Fuller breast = less milk
(Softer or “empty” breasts make more milk, “fuller” breasts make less milk.)

She should really be working with an lactation consultant not an anti-breastfeeding sleep trainer, especially since she is breastfeeding two babies. But no, her precious sleep is more important than nourishing her babies. She is not going about this the right way. And the boys growth is going to suffer if they don’t get enough milk.

(My baby and I worked with an LC so that’s why I’m really hell bent on this breastfeeding stuff.)

I really think deep down, she blames herself for losing Brynn. It’s the vibe I get, from her supermom complex, to overcompensating on certain things, like the endless shopping and designer baby clothes. Of course she is not responsible, I would hope her biggest critic would even tell her that. I definitely feel for women who have had spontaneous miscarriages and stillbirths, there has to be lingering thoughts of “What did I do wrong. How could I have prevented this?” I hope she can get back to therapy soon, she would really benefit from it.

So this can be a very touchy subject, but you can wean slowly and keep your supply, that’s the point of doing it slowly. Also the course she’s doing is breastfeeding friendly. It even teaches that if your supply starts to go low, then add in a middle of the night pump. The course is all about learning that offering full feedings during the day every 2-3 hours ensures that your baby is growing well and that if your baby is growing well, sleep is a hurdle of learning to connect sleep cycles/sleeping without needing intervention/needing little intervention.
That’s all I want to say about that.
But we know rash will not wake up for that middle of the night pump and that is why she will lose supply.

In the vlog she said the boys are still eating every 2.5-3 hours almost round the clock. That is crazy.

Her milk isn’t fatty enough to keep them full. Poor boys will go hungry now at night. All because she needs her precious sleep. News flash trashy... even if you got your sleep you’re still ugly inside and out.

Don’t have kids if you want to sleep!!! They are 25/26 y/o they should have energy out the wazoo. Must be their shitty ass diet.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying. She’s not gonna take the proper action to protect her supply and then it’s gonna go bye bye!

This is a 14 day course, she is weaning 6 feeds (3 feeds per boy) in less than two weeks or whenever the first night is that they sleep through the night. That’s a very short amount of time to wean that many sessions. In my opinion Taking Cara Babies isn’t a very breastfeeding friendly program, 2 of my friends stopped breastfeeding after doing ABC’s of sleep and they were mama’s to singletons. Cara may be a certified sleep consultant, but she has no formal certification in Lactation. Night wakings for actual nutrition intake are normal for breast-fed babies but Rash isn’t smart enough to know that she needs to incorporate more daytime feedings to make up for not eating a 10-12 hour stretch through the night and that’s what she doesn’t understand that’s why she’ll lose her supply.

Especially since the boys are in the “oneth” percentile as she has said. She should be prioritizing breastfeeding/ nourishment over sleep. I hope she got their peds approval before starting this plan for the boys.

She was sad she had to stop breastfeeding Emma so soon and wished she could have done it longer. Yet she’s not taking any action to prevent losing her supply with the boys!

EDIT TO ADD: Sorry, my goal isn’t to turn this into a Taking Cara Babies/ sleep training debate. Sleep train, don’t sleep train, do what you want. Just make sure your baby is getting enough to eat in a 24 hour period. This is just my opinion.

Oh I don’t want to debate it, I’ve done the TCB course, so I know what cara talks about in her course and those that don’t want to prioritize breastfeeding are the ones that lose their supply because they don’t wake up for the middle of the night pump despite cara telling them to do so. I’m in a support group for TCB and majority of us know that cara preaches that pump and most of us do it.
Back to rash...she didn’t mourn not feeding Emma. If you look back on on her blogs, she weaned because they said she had to stop breastfeeding for 3 months before starting IVF meds and she needed to do the polyps surgery too then doing the transfer. So she actually intentionally weaned fast because she wanted to do IVF when Emma was 9months but because of all those rules, it was only at a year. She didn’t talk about it directly cause God forbid she be honest, but it’s hinted in a vlog where they also discuss having to pay for future transfers since “sadly” Emma was a live birth (anyone remember that being their word choice Image).

Yep, we used TCB and I was pumping at 10pm and 3am and then gradually just at 1am for 6 months after my daughter started sleeping 7pm to 7am. Breastfeeding properly is a journey that Rash knows NOTHING about. She is a piss poor and quite frankly offensive representation of true gentle sleep training.

Trashy’s taste in clothes suck. Emma’s dress I like the color. Then she got some boring ass shirts for the boys. Why does she always say WE, justina doesn’t choose anything. We got them... no trashy YOU got them.

More BORING pieces (as she calls them) from Fuglyjamiekay. And I had to screenshot her nasty chewed off thumb/thumbnail. Yuck!

Actually I kinda like what she picked out this time. But these are basics and she overpaid because it’s oh so special Jamie Kay Imageshe could’ve got these same peices for a lot less at H&M or old navy. Even walmart

What kind of mom denies their babies food and doesn’t allow them to feed as long as they want just because she wants to sleep? What a piece of shit.

We also must be playing some drunk history with all her “Emma is SUCH a good sleeper because of TCB” comments. She literally still complains about Emma’s sleep to this day... she just wants TCB to notice her and shout her out similar to what she was trying to do with the snoo by ~documenting their journey~ 🙄

I was going to say the same thing!!
This is the first time she’s shared something from Jamie Kay that I actually like the colours of! Too bad those pinks will clash so bad with Emma’s red hair, but at least it’s kind of some color lol

Just out of curiosity I checked the prices of her little haul. She didn’t disclose if she bought them or if they were sent to her for free but she did have a code for free shipping for this collection so I’m betting on undisclosed sponsorship. Anyway here are my findings:
Image
TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS!!!
I’m sorry, but who the fuck is going to spend $22 dollars on a TSHIRT that a baby is going to grow out of in less than a year! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Almost $100 for 4 tshirts. Wow. I knew Jamie Kay was expensive but this is insane. Over $20 for one piece of children’s clothing that they will poop on, get food on, grow out of so fast is crazy to me. In the haul she was talking about how they can wear tanks and T-shirts all year round in California. I get it but we are coming into fall and winter here, wouldn’t it have been smart to get the boys long sleeve shirts rather than tank tops, something a little more seasonally appropriate. For crying out loud they are tiny babies, they need to be kept warm! Only an idiot would put their baby in a tank top in the fall and winter.

Alright guys, I've officially reached the point where I can't even hate watch them. The kids and Justin I don't mind, but I cannot take a single more video of hearing rachelle complain. And I can't stand to watch her nostrils (this one annoys me the most sorry I know she can't help it), stupid hairstyles, lame wannabe tik toks, everything. I get so unnecessarily angry from listening/watching her!!

But of course, I'll still be on here to keep up with all her latest sUpEr MaMA woes.

I hate saying this, but good god, Asher is an ugly baby. Emma was cuter when she was his age and she was never much of a looker, but Asher's just unfortunate. Poor kid looks like one of those old timey Jesus and Mary paintings where the artist obviously didn't know how to paint babies.

Those poor kids. I know it’s not fair or nice to criticize an infant or child’s appearance. But we’ve seen Rachelle and Justin and we’ve seen their kids and..yep...the results make sense.

Not only will they be hindered by their looks, they’ll have all sorts of speech and development issues because even though Rash was a PrEScHOol TeACHeR, and has done the right thing by getting Emma into SLP early on, she’s not doing a single thing right in daily life with these kids. The constant baby talk, the constant manhandling of their faces, the constant leaving Emma to deal with a shitty wasteful sensory bin to just make a mess and have no real interaction...that’s not it. Stop calling them nay nays. They’re horses. Start talking to Emma in full sentences and asking her more complex questions. She’ll get frustrated if she can’t answer them but it’ll get those gears turning more. Right now there’s just a monkey on a unicycle doing circles up there.

Justin should finish up his education and get a real job. Rachelle can be a stay at home mom and sell their lives for ad revenue, but he should be busting his butt to earn something sustainable for them in the long term, because they are going to need it.

Long time lurker over here!🙈 I don’t want to be insensitive or cruel because a baby is a baby and they’re all beautiful, but does anybody else think Asher looks like he has Down syndrome? Or something just isn’t quite right? If that makes sense? He doesn’t look anything like Reuben or Emma I don’t think. I’m not trying to be cruel at all, I’m genuinely wondering
