I could have done without the "Abby's at home with nothing contagious, just girl stuff" bit. How about just "Abby didn't want to come"?

Wow, when she had said they'd be learning to swim as part of homeschool, I just assumed it would be with an instructor. Ruby is nuts, teaching kids to swim is hard, especially if you're not as interested in the ones who don't get it as fast...
I'm so uninterested in seeing what ugly, tacky shit they put in their mega-expensive backyard. Not filming the neighbors is the first sensible thing the woman has ever done though, I hate when I see youtubers film and upload footage of strangers or anyone they don't have permission from.

Swimming should not be part of homeschooling but ruby's too lazy to teach them anything so she resorts to things already made so she doesn't have to do any extra work.imoverit wrote:Wow, when she had said they'd be learning to swim as part of homeschool, I just assumed it would be with an instructor. Exactly! That's TMI, especially when it comes to very personal subjects. Just like with Bonnie & April of April & Davey. FFS, give your preteen & teenage daughters a modicum of privacy! It's not too much to ask, plus as I said with other vlog posts on this board, there are pedos & creepers out there that get off on stuff like this.

Ruby needed an excuse for her absence that was not COVID related. If she didn't say something specific, everyone would assume she finally caught the virus from her family. Nobody really questions "female problems".Josette wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:14 pmExactly! That's TMI, especially when it comes to very personal subjects. I watched todays vlog and I wondered if it just me or was that bean soup a small potion?
and also what are the rules about filming in pools? where I live you can't film in pools cause its kids with littles swimsuits so it would be pedo heaven if that footage was on the internet. Was she suppose to be filming, legally? Also I think that if they want to teach the Eve and Russel to swim she needs to start with the basics, I'm a swim teacher and she's starting all over the place. There are so many good swim teacher guides, I hope she finds and reads some.
also she said she hasn't talked to the neighbours yet about the kids being on film YET makes me think that she wants to film them.

After this year of homeschooling, the kids are one year behind (again...)

Yes I get that but there are two ways around it: 1. We decided to break things up a bit and only go with two kids today. Give everyone a special time with mom (bs I know but whatever) or 2. Abby doesn't have covid but she didn't feel like coming.Kattiness Everdeen wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 9:05 pmRuby needed an excuse for her absence that was not COVID related. That's typical Ruby portioning, but I've seen her serve even smaller ones like the breakfast she cooked awhile back. The food on Chad's plate was barely enough for a toddler.Wonderfreedom123 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 2:38 am I watched todays vlog and I wondered if it just me or was that bean soup a small potion?

And yeah, I'd be uber-creeped out if I saw someone filming their kids at a public pool and I wouldn't be surprised there are rules against doing so too. Ruby needs to hire a proper swim instructor like April & Davey did for EB & Ender. I'm no expert, but IMHO she's not qualified to teach the kids to swim.

What happened to the swim instructors she had? The man and woman, with their own pool... they had a slide, and Russell was afraid to go down the slide. That's how Julie learned to swim, and she got on a swim team... and Abby learned from them too.Josette wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 12:02 pmThat's typical Ruby portioning, but I've seen her serve even smaller ones like the breakfast she cooked awhile back. Whatever happened to that? Probably yet another one of the many hobbies Ruby has made her kids quit because they weren't getting views anymore.ThisIsMeCeej wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 12:13 pm That's how Julie learned to swim, and she got on a swim team...

On Ruby's IG she shows a short video of her "awesome new backyard" and it's full of 20-25 of "Chad's friends" who are having a night time hangout with a fireplace and swimming. I am gobsmacked. No way my kid would be going over to a house FULL of covid. You know all the Franke's had it spread out over weeks! They weren't instantly cured on the same date. And just the nerve to have a party of teenagers right now shocks me.

Ruby: We just wanted to do something small for fall break and Spokane is so close, it's just a little airplane ride away.
A little airplane ride? Lol, as someone who has only ever been on an airplane once in my life, that doesn't seem like such a little trip to me. Oh, to be so privileged that up and taking your family of 8 on an airplane ride to another state is just a 'little' field trip to you.
Shari posted her homecoming vlog on her channel now. I was surprised when she said that Ken took her on her first ever date. I remember seeing the Instagram post of them hiking together and thinking that was kind of cold to do to Brevin. Brevin literally gave her a little certificate that was good for one date on her birthday and seemed like he could hardly wait until she was sixteen to start taking her out on dates. Then, for her to literally snub him and not even give him her first real date... just, wow, that is soooo cold. Anyways, it was interesting to watch Shari's interaction with her 'friends' while they were going on their date before the dance. I do get the feeling that they aren't actually her 'friends' as she said that the homecoming kind of placed them together in groups of ten, so maybe she got placed with a group she didn't really know that well. Her and Ken got left out again at the rock climbing place because they were under 18 and their parents weren't there to sign a waver. Was everyone else in their group 18? And why didn't they check ahead of time if some people in the group needed to fill out a waver when they were planning their date? Shari also made a comment about AP Chem that made me roll my eyes. Lol, is there a vlog in history that exists where Shari doesn't bring up AP Chem? She acts as if she's the only person in the world who has ever taken AP Chemistry.

It's bad enough they're taking an non-essential trip during a pandemic, but even worse that they're doing this when 3 of their household have had Covid-9. Let's add in that they're seated in the SLC airport while not wearing their masks properly or not at all. Isn't that delightful? Let's make more people sick! I hope someone told them that unlike Utah there's a statewide requirement to wear masks in Washington (as of July), which includes playgrounds. And no, a trip to Idaho for an "educational" field trip is NOT essential.

It's shameful that they're going on this trip and trying to profit off of their irresponsibility through the videos. I will absolutely not be watching these videos. They're idiots. Nothing will stop a Griffiths from doing and getting exactly what they want, not even a global pandemic.

Eve hit the nail on the head today.. telling Idiot Ruby they’re laughing at her because she’s filming and the way she’s dressed! LMFAO!

Even the next year (at least the first 6 months) looks doubtful to me as things stand today.

I loved that comment from Eve too. No sympathy for smug, pompous Ruby either, lol.

The IG post with the freeze dried grapes looks cool. I’d like to actually try that. Question though...is that a booger on Ruby’s nose the whole time?
