8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
It's quite alarming that in the Spokane video, when the kids decide to go outside to see the deer, Ruby shows their license plate. Maybe if she actually edited their own
videos, she would've realized it by now and taken the video down and edited that part out or something? Also, I can't stand Shari, I'm sorry. But being someone who's in university now, I can't see how her bossy "I know everything, Chad you can't do this or that" attitude is gonna get her anywhere in college. She always talks about it like she's so sure she'll know what its gonna be like, but trust me, no one is ever fully prepared for college. Why? Because it's so different for everyone and just because you know a couple students already in college, doesn't mean that their experience will be the same as yours. It's TRUE that she'll be in for a surprise, every first year college student is in for that surprise. But something tells me Shari's holier than thou attitude and this "I know everything" attitude is gonna contribute to both her acsdemic and social downfall in college.

I like that comment from Eve. Straight talk.

Again, some of them are maskless, this time when they're on board the plane heading home. These idiots are determined to endanger others.

They’re just going to be even more ignorant and complacent now that they have had covid and are now “immune.” They are too selfish to care about the health of others.
** I am not convinced that once you have had covid you’re immune, I have heard of people getting it twice and we don’t know enough about it yet to be making those claims**

Happened to watch The Connors tonight, and due to trick or treat being cancelled, the adults entertained trick or treating by having the younger ones knock on the closet and bedroom doors inside the house. Hmmm, where did I hear this before? I wouldn't think Kevin or Ruby would think outside the box to do something for their kids as she said they did one year when Kevin hid in each closet so Shari and Chad could knock and trick or treat in the house.

Ruby must feel a connection with anyone she can ride on the coattails of. She says she felt an instant connection with the author of current book she is reading. I Seem to recall her saying this about someone else she partnered with, maybe the fake counselor.

Are the kids taking actual science courses or are Kevin’s one size fits all lessons on Friday their only science class? I know they all have a math course they are following but I can’t remember her saying that about science. Those Friday lessons are fine if they are in addition to actual science class but if that’s all they are getting then that’s very concerning....

I think they all might be doing the same thing, remember when she had Eve, Russell, Julie and Abby all sorting cards on the different forms that water takes on? It seemed age appropriate with the younger 2 but not Abby and Julie. I am not sure why she lumps them all together, it would benefit them if she would at least let Abby and Julie learn a concept together.mix10 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 9:21 am Are the kids taking actual science courses or are Kevin’s one size fits all lessons on Friday their only science class? Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
Both were very boring. They're running out of things to film and I also feel like Ruby isn't even trying anymore. Since she dropped down to only posting three times a week all the vlogs are just out of order, badly thrown together, and are all basically about either homeschooling or them not social distancing and spreading their germs everywhere. The only thing I really noticed in 8 Passengers vlog was that Abby and Julie looked incredibly bored during the pumpkin farm field trip and the science lesson from Kevin. I can't blame them. That pumpkin farm they took them to seemed like it was designed for little kids with the kid mazes, slides, and the tacky decorations. I know the pumpkin farm can be fun for all ages, but not really when you're stuck going with your parents and kid siblings. It seemed like Russell mostly took over the science thing and that it was a good activity for kids his age, not for older kids. I just feel bad for those two girls. Not only do they not get to hang out with kids their age, but they're stuck doing childish activities, reading children's books, and listening to dad's boring science lessons. They're expected to partake in the same curriculum as their two younger siblings who are probably barely on a first grade level academically. I really hope they choose to go back to school next year. Those girls have so much potential and are so smart and mature. They would thrive at a good school, not sitting around at home being treated like 1st graders by their mom because she's too lazy to create a more challenging curriculum for them and wants to just combine their schooling with Eve and Russell's.boychik0830 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 7:53 am What does everyone think of 8 passengers and Shari's vlogs that were posted today.

If they've all had Covid, why aren't they back at school (if the schools are open)? Ruby is completely incapable of home-schooling and it's obvious she is just keeping at home for content and brand deals. Those kids are going to go insane over the winter stuck in the house.

They are homeschooling for the year. They weren't home because of COVID.sparkle lemon wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 1:55 pm If they've all had Covid, why aren't they back at school (if the schools are open)? It's a good few years since I left school, but I just looked up what their age groups should be learning here in the UK.thenightowl wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 11:35 amI think they all might be doing the same thing, remember when she had Eve, Russell, Julie and Abby all sorting cards on the different forms that water takes on? A few examples of what 11-14 year olds would be looking at: cell structures in plants and mammals, learning the links between structure and function; differences between atoms, elements and compounds; chemical reactions such as combustion, displacement, and oxidation; energy changes and transfers, forces and motion.
These poor girls will never catch up at this rate. Oh well, as long as they know how to cook pitiful amounts of food and pop babies out, what more could they need?
Actually, would that explain why Kevin's 'lesson' was most appropriate to Russell? Because he is the only (male) kid being home schooled that will be expected to go to college and get a job?

This is similar to what I thought too. When I saw that I thought, these parents are priming their kids for the girls to inherently not be interested in science/math and for the boys to like it. Ruby all but told them how to feel about it. In the past when one of the girls has expressed that they like math Ruby has acted all shocked, and Shari has been successfully brainwashed the same way.Macarena wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 4:18 amThese poor girls will never catch up at this rate. Ruby has the girls learning what is expected of them, baking cakes. I think it's great they are learning to decorate, it's a great hobby, but to Ruby it's another check off the list of their domestic housewife duty.
