It'll be interesting to see what's next for them in terms of content. They've always had something big going on... Adoptions, IVF, RV life, pregnancy, Cassidy's heart issues And now the surgery is over and she's doing well. I'm sure there will be some more content around her feeding, but aside from that I think this "chapter" is closing for their vlog. How will they keep people engaged? And even more so how will they keep the sympathy views coming if they have the dream life with land, a house, 3 beautiful daughters...

Whatever their plans, I'm sure they had it worked out a long time ago. Just like they knew when they bought the RV that they were just going to use it to move to Nashville, rather than actually explore anything other than Walmart parking lots.

My guess is that they had planned to pretend to be Homesteaders for one year, before launching back into IVF. Cassidy messed that up by taking away their springtime and summer plans, as did their predictable incompetence with anything to do with farming.

So I'm not sure how they plan to fill their winter.

Actually, I'm just thinking about their fans, and who they are, because that will probably dictate what they do next. They are completely unrelateable to most people going through infertility or adoption, and this doesn't seem to be their fan base.

I feel like their platform is overwhelmingly "poor me, look how I overcome my struggles." Their fans seem to love that stuff, and really buy into it. They seem to look up to Alex, as if she's some kind of wonder woman.

So whatever path they next choose, I'm guessing it will involve them setting themselves up for some struggle they have to overcome.

Definitely. This sets them up to dish out smug advice like Alex's marriage tips and for Phil to preach about how he just wants to be an encouragement. There may be a few home DIY blogs where Alex buys some grey and beige decor and leaves the walls white, breastfeeding updates because they mistakenly think people care, and probably a few sporadic click bait Q&A titles about when they will start next IVF round.

The content I'm still waiting for is the explanation of Phil declaring Cassidy was prophesied haha

I'm a bit behind on the vlogs, this is what annoys me most about Alex. The smirks. Getting updates from the nurse was uncomfortable to watch. Phil's reactions were genuine. Alex was very camera aware.

I wonder how many shots they took until they found one where Phil was happy enough with how much neck skin he was holding back to remove his double chin, and for Alex to be happy with the face lift she's giving herself by pulling her skin back on Phil's shoulder.

It's sickening how their fans don't realise these images are all posed. They probably took 20 takes.

I have one single photo of my bub post surgery in all that awfulness, and that’s because they did not think she’d survive the night. I have a bunch from when she had all cords tubes wires ventilator etc off, and a tonne from when we came HOME because what a celebration! My kid is not a heart kid. She’s just Chloe. Chloe and nothing else - CHD warrior, heart kid blah blah blah, nope, that doesn’t define her. But 100% that’s how Alex will define Cassidy

So true. Whatever Alex is giving advice on and whatever Phil is preaching on is just a projection of what they're struggling with, and what they wish someone would be telling them. They are not role models and are not pro's at dealing with this stuff. Quite the opposite, actually. Alex doesn't feel her feelings and Phil struggles with anything that isn't exuding positivity - that's why they "choose" to always be so over the top happy; they can't handle anything else. It's their mechanism for self-soothing and staying afloat - by telling others what they wish someone would tell them. We all do this to some extent, but to be on such a public platform and to have it be part of their identity is next level. They must have some deep issues and rightfully so. I can't imagine what it was like for Phil to grow up with his heart condition and Alex's upbringing seems complicated. They have learned a way that works for them to deal with their issues, but that doesn't mean it's healthy and they should be telling others to do the same (it's like someone who eats 500 calories a day loses weight and thinks that others should do the same because it works for them and helps them achieve whatever effed up and unhealthy goal they're trying to achieve).

Awe I can see how someone might see it like that, but I see it as her trying to do anything she can do to please her parents and get their attention. She's a sensitive and smart little girl, and I see her focus so much of her attention on doing everything right for mommy and daddy. It's annoying sometimes, but I think it's more because her parents are not giving her adequate support and love. (And P&A not responding to it the right way is a whoooole other issue.)

Nope. I think both of the them are sweet little girls. All kids go through phases and I think Kinsley is behaving age-appropriately, maybe even little too ''adult'' like but I bet it comes from the need to please the parents.

She's not come across as a brat to me. Agree with comments about seeking parents praise. And she's certainly very very bright, which I guess can come off as a bit precocious and demanding next to Callie's quieter nature. They are good kids and I hope being schooled by Alex doesn't limit their talents and opportunities in life.

Yeah, poor Kinsley. She's so compliant and fearful of getting into trouble. Her parents will homeschool her (despite what I'm sure is an abundance of christian schools in the area) to keep her away from the internet and people that tell her what's going on. Ironic, isn't it, that her parents will do anything to make sure she doesn't use the same IT platform they use to make money.

I feel bad for her the day she's allowed to talk to someone that tells her she's all over the internet, and that millions of people have been watching her daily life.

I actually think Kinsley is such a sweetheart and well behaved kid. Especially in comparison to a lot of YouTube kids her age who are spoiled brats. Also these poor girls have had sooo much change in their lives the past year

Glad to see that Alex let the girls sleep in her bed for once... she can’t miss a beat and complain about it, but still. At least for once those lovely girls got to snuggle with their parents in bed and not told to get back into their own bed.
