I have a feeling that those kids watch more TV now that Cass has been born. They have minimal toys and I feel the whole home schooling currently is more so for IG/YT than actual learning. citbcitw wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 9:34 am Interesting choice to post their vlog in the middle of election night. That is not the type of content that I could stomach last night regardless what the results were looking like, and I can even imagine saying the same if I were fans of them. Even if the content didn't have its dramatic flare - still not great to hear about complications after open heart surgery in the midst of a major political event! I think I made it in 20 seconds into the vlog before I felt ill from the voiceover. Kind of gives me a throwback to the BLM social media blackout a few months back when they were posting regularly. Not wanting to bring politics into their content is one thing (and very much appreciated), but ignoring what's going on and lacking awareness is another. It'll most likely hurt their views, at least in the short term.
IDK... as a parent, when my son was hospitalized, I didn’t give a damn what was happening in the world because he is my world. Trump will rage tweet, people will riot without wearing masks, FoxNews will stoke the fearmongering, and idiot celebrities will act like they’ve achieved a personal triumph with the election outcome, but your child is your child, and a big life event is bigger to the parent than the election or anything. That’s my take on it at least.
I was sickened by Alex’s voiceover and then the scene where she and Phil were “whisked away” and Alex was explaining what happened. She wanted to act all dramatic and upset, but that’s all it was— acting. She had this DEPRAVED, creepy snark face while she was talking about her infant almost dying and needing an emergency surgery at the bedside. She. Was. Smiling. Sicko.

Youtubers have a very high rate of homeschooling compared to the general population. I feel in most cases that's because:
1. Their children are their content, and if they are at school all day there won't be as much to film
2. People like Alex are lazy. She can't even get herself to a medical appointment on time. Having to get up and get her kids ready for school is an inconvenience to her. Homeschooling allows her to sleep in and do what she wants.
But watching TV still won't give Kinsley appreciation that she is essentially on television too. She needs either the internet (and free time on it, which she won't be given) or an unrelated person outside their own orbit to reveal what's going on. A school environment provides both of these things, and no way Alex will let her be exposed to that truth. Can you imagine if Kinsley came home and told her a friend said "my mom said you have put me on the internet!" Alex is protecting herself and what she's done. That's why those kids have never even had friends outside their own little echo chamber.

So let me get this straight, you're calling a little, what, six(?) year old adopted girl whose adoptive parents profoundly neglect her and her younger adoptive sister with physical issues in favor of their YT channel, biological daughter, and their nonviable embryos a "little bitch in the making?" Especially when the only times she is praised is when she behaves more like a parent than her own mother?
I sincerely hope you never come into contact with small children. That's how you end up with teens and adults with complexes.

Just watched the new vlog...
I’m appalled at Alex and her shitty attitude about masks. She doesn’t wear it in her room in the hospital, even when other people (NURSES) are in the room, or even in common spaces in the hospital. It’s always pulled down to her chin.
Do you guys remember the little tutorial she gave back when they bought the chickens? She gave everyone advice on how to properly wear and store your masks? Because back then it was all new and scary and being a nurse made her “credible”
And now... she’s an anti-masker for sure

She and Phil and have ZERO issue wearing an N95/P2 and even half face respirator when they are renovating or painting. But suddenly they need to wear a cloth or surgical mask for COVID and they can't breathe.

Not to mention all the times they’ve touched their masks with their dirty hands and worn them on their chins only to yank them back up.
Alex was a shitty nurse. I’m glad she’s no longer practicing.

I wonder how much also is them thinking they already had the coronavirus back in Feb when they were all so sick. So they feel immune to catching it or spreading it. Not saying this is their only reason or that they are right. Just wondering if it plays into their attitude

It hasn’t been proven to be a one and done virus. Actually, I think there are people who have no contracted it a second time. Plus, antibodies would only MAYBE prevent THEM from being infected again, it would’ve prevent them from spreading it to other people...hence the need for masks.

Even so, they have still made their political views clear. Phil sat in his car and preached about government overstep one time, and then he filmed himself telling Kinsley to take her mask off in the car so she could breathe fresh air. And the number of times Alex made unattractive facial expressions and pulled off her mask in disgust when she was in pregnant. Including that time she grunted/yelled and almost hit a hospital staff worker for handing her a mask.ICantEven wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 5:32 am I wonder how much also is them thinking they already had the coronavirus back in Feb when they were all so sick. All four of them were very sick in February, including with high fevers, for multiple days. The chance that their entire family - including their two little kids - would ALL get so acutely sick from COVID for 3-5days is miniscule. Their pattern of illness was atypical for COVID. It's much more likely they had an influenza-like illness.
Re: Phil and Alex: Boob Juice Infatuation & Heart Defect Exploitation! | Part 11
Covid seems to follow no rules. I know someone that took months, got sick in March and wasn't clear till September, to recover. But on the flip side I have a friend that had a fever and chills for like 3 days then felt fine. They tested because their Dr wanted them to, they were positive. It seems to all depend.IVFwarrior wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 3:05 pmEven so, they have still made their political views clear. I think they feel they had covid, but Alex being Alex refused to get tested. I'm sure some of the lack of proper masking is due to the "God will heal us" as well. I've seen quite a few of them.

Re: Phil and Alex: Boob Juice Infatuation & Heart Defect Exploitation! | Part 11
COVID is a novel virus for sure, and symptoms vary from none to dead, but there are plenty of trends and patterns. But all we have to go on is their household and description of symptoms, and it would be very atypical for all four people in a single house, all under forty, including two healthy preschoolers, to have those symptoms. It would be far more likely to see something like one person be sick, one kid to be asymptomatic, one kid to have nothing but a runny nose etc... Out of the thousands of COVID positive households I've been involved in managing, I can't recall a single one where 4/4 pre-schoolers and young adults got an influenza-like illness and had a raging fever for a couple of days. If anything, COVID's trademark is that it is so widely variable that you will see this variation within a single household, particularly where there are different generational ages living in it.DarthMama wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:25 pmCovid seems to follow no rules. So based on what we know, and the fact that they did not get tested, what they had is far more compatible with something non-COVID. It does not mean they did not have COVID, it just means that it was far more likely they had something else, which I guarantee they have never been vaccinated for.
I personally think they are anti-mask not because they think they had it, but because they are anti-mask.... And probably some fatalistic god-factor like you describe. They try not to show their political views, but they must think we are all stupid and don't see it.

Looks like her milk is drying up... she’s probably spiraling, hence the quiet social media.
Instead of focusing on her thriving baby post-surgery, she posts a long “woe-is-me” about her milk situation.
Good thing she froze so much, I guess

So I wonder what happened here? Is she back to starving Cassidy? Has she been forcing her breasts into Cassidy's mouth ever since they got home, and her milk has started to dry up because Cassidy is drinking a fraction of the amount that she would normally have expressed?PinkMoscato wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:59 pm Looks like her milk is drying up... she’s probably spiraling, hence the quiet social media.

I don't care if they did, there are people who had it in the first round and are getting sick a 2nd time. I watched a local meeting with our Covid-19 task force last night where they talked having multiple people who tested positive and had symptoms back in the Spring, testing positive and having symptoms now. The immunity to this virus is very short and even if they had it, they could get again and could spread it.ICantEven wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 5:32 am I wonder how much also is them thinking they already had the coronavirus back in Feb when they were all so sick. To be fair though, I don't think that's the issue at all. These two have a long long history of thinking the rules don't apply to them and being selfish.
Re: Phil and Alex: Boob Juice Infatuation & Heart Defect Exploitation! | Part 11
My first thought was if her supply is falling that much, Cassidy isn't removing as much milk as she thinks she is. If she was her supply might have dropped a little but not that much. They'd better get her in for a weight check...oh that's right Alex's obsession with breastfeeding is more important than the health of her child....IVFwarrior wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 11:32 pmSo I wonder what happened here? I’ve honestly never met a ‘nurse’ as stupid as Alex. If Cassidy was actually drinking from the breast, Alex’s body would make enough, and also, the more you demand, the more your body supplies so she should be pumping after every feed, and supplementing with either frozen milk or formula until her body catches up. This isn’t difficult Alex, you bloody idiot.
