Are OBs in the US really that dumb? Routine cervical checks are not done in other countries because they don’t mean anything! It’s her fifth baby, of course she’s going to be 4cm dilated at this stage. The only way he could possibly predict baby would come tonight is if he did an aggressive membrane strip while he was in there, which (hopefully) he would only do if she was term.

Yepppp. With my 2nd I was 4 cm at 37 weeks and went to 40+5 confused by the people saying her doctor should’ve sent her straight to the hospital once she was 4cm lol

Wow - the more I see of Brittani and the more I read here my eyes are really opening up !!!!
I also cannot stand how she is telling herself and the world that this baby was hand picked by his big brother in heaven . If poor baby crew had any interaction in this situation , he would have most likely wanted his mother to remain mentally stable and to focus on his brothers that are already on earth . Why oh why would he “ hand pick “ a new baby to throw in to this mess .
There is no way on earth this new baby will get what he needs and obviously the older brothers aren’t getting what they need either .
And yes I do know all the boys are well taken care of and loved , it’s not about that , it’s about the deep needs of mental health and stability they all need without adding another human in the mix !
