Brittani has never explained what happened to Crew in the entirety. She has lightly mentioned (once I believe on her Instagram stories) SIDS, but she has never announced the exact cause of death.
Someone a few threads back, mentioned being an acquaintance to the paramedic who was at the scene, and they said Crew was lodged in between the headboard. All she said was that Crew went down for a nap at a relatives house and was later found unresponsive.

For the 100th time, a rainbow baby is when you lose a child due to miscarriage or still birth. It is not a rainbow baby if your child dies due to your own negligence.

Stop. A rainbow baby is defined by a child born after a loss. Crews death was a loss regardless of the circumstances. This is so petty. Plenty and I mean plenty of things to snark on BBL for.

She's completely cheapened the term rainbow baby.

I agree. He technically isn't a rainbow baby since it wasn't a miscarriage or stillbirth. As someone who is now pregnant after 3 miscarriages, she has completely ruined the term for me and I have a hard time even referring to this baby as a rainbow baby now.

While I do not agree with gatekeeping 'rainbow baby,' I do think BBL is misusing the term because most people who have miscarriages/stillbirths don't get pregnant TWO MONTHS LATER and use their stillbirth or miscarriage for fame and fortune. While we will never know what happened with Crew and I hope to a higher power poor baby Crew just died of natural causes, I think BBL may secretly love all the attention Crew's death has gotten her.
