I can't imagine they will give the food to any of the children, grandchildren, great grand children, great-great-grandchildren (that should be about how many generations they have by 2045). Ellie and Jared mention they couldn't afford to buy food, and Ruby has also said they were poor, but doesn't sound like Grandma Griff came to their rescue providing food from their storage. So, she is basically preparing that food, just to hoard, very sickening.
Eve hit 6 last year, she is grown now and Ruby is preparing for the grandkids. That is crazy to think about though. The chance that Shari could be a grandmother in 20 years is very high, as you noted. Hell, Eve could be a grandmother before those grapes that Ruby prepared spoil. It seems weird that there are no great grand parents in the picture at all right now. Kevin's parents had him late, but all 4 of Ruby's grandparents didn't make it past 70?
I don't doubt Jen withheld food from her kids, but I am starting to question Ellie's entire narrative about her adulthood, including being so poor she could only eat potatoes. If she needed a fertility specialist to teach her that the "plug" goes into the "socket", perhaps she just needed someone to teach her how to prepare a meal. We have seen Ruby throw out her huge stash before though. They are supposed to rotate and eat the stockpile, but Ruby can't seem to get the hang of such a complex system.

There's a train of thought, based on the facts that Ellie is incredibly ignorant about her own body, the mysterious "horrible wedding night", and that Ellie has gotten pregnant fairly easily since Jackson, that a lot of their "infertility" was more not knowing what went where and when to have intercourse to optimize chances of conception. There are also those who think that Jared used what he learned in his anatomy/physiology classes to prevent conception because they were so broke before YT made them rich.

Why does Chad need to wait longer? I agree that driving as a teenager is a privilege, but they withhold things from him specifically as arbitrary punishments because they don't like him. Shari got her license so that Ruby didn't have to drive the kids to school anymore, or pay someone else to do it. Ruby has no incentive for Chad to drive therefore she has no motivation for him to learn and he has to be behind everyone else because of her laziness and cruelty towards him. Chad is very mature, in fact it is his parents who have been acting immature about his driving, by vlogging it, not paying attention or helping him, bringing the dog along, etc. They've never shown a good reason to be so behind on Chad getting his permit and license, such as that he can't handle it yet. They have clearly shown they want to make things as difficult as possible for Chad.

I don't eat vegetables either but I'd rather eat those then her disgusting sprout meals that she makes and expects her kids to be grateful that she is making that for them. I think Russell only pretended to like it and I'm not sure if he really likes it or not.
Today her IG reels is a "reveal" of all the freeze dried meat she has made. Sitting right next to her is poor Chad who probably is starving to death and plotting on how he can get a job to get out of the house, away from his parents and have some cash to feed self.
Oh and Ruby upped the ante saying that freeze dried food will last up to 30 years. Which regardless if it does, her kids are all gonna move out of state to find some peace.

And I loooovveeedddd what she said when they were fishing about how the ducks were laughing because she was filming and because of how Ruby was dressed! Or when Ruby was going on about not forgetting her handbag and Eve chimes in with no one care! I love her! Haha

Eve's recent Ruby slams were priceless. Most of Ruby's kids are over her crap now. She was talking about all the genetic issues she passed down to Julie, and Julie told her she was thankful she didn't inherit Ruby's nose. Chad has been mouthy ever since Anasazi, and regularly uses Ruby's pseudo-psychology against her. Shari has always been mouthy, while Abby is still the "perfect" child who never opposes her mother, squeezing herself into bubble gum pink children's clothes to make her happy. Russell still reacts to everything by laughing inappropriately loud and long, but there is time for him.
I haven't looked at what the view numbers are on her videos but I have been liking her tutorial or trying out things in the kitchen a lot more than the vlogs. I don't think her kids are interested in being filmed anymore except for maybe russell so having content that doesn't need them is a lot more entertaining. I personally think she should start being more like her mom with videos about cooking and cleaning or even her emergency kit prep because it's more fun to watch when the people in the video want in the video, which her kids clearly don't want to be.
On another not I find the videos pretty useful or entertaining, I don't plan on making sourdough bread or sprouts anytime soon but I know how because of her video!

I hate to admit that you might be right. I am thrilled the kids have more privacy, but I am not thrilled that she may be worming her way back into a niche she can make successful. I actually considered buying mung beans to sprout.....and I am ashamed it was Ruby that had that power over me. I'd rather see her forced off YT, than reinvent herself.
There is discussion on Bonnie's thread about why Ruby is busting out peppy prepper videos while her sister is crying over their mother's looming death (allegedly, per Bonnie) and publicly offering her a kidney (again, no proof she needs one). Ellie and Julie publicly commented as well. I wonder if these Ruby focused videos are a result of a rebrand, legal advice, or refusal of her family to participate after the second wave of scandal/commentary videos. Maybe she isn't allowed to even mention her mother anymore?

I agree with wishing Ruby would be forced off YT than reinvent herself. She is despicable in every way and no one should be taking life advice from her. However, I would much prefer her to try her boring Ruby-only videos talking to the camera than to continue to exploit her children for views and money. I'd be more inclined to watch sit-down videos of just Ruby (well, 'hate-watch' them) than incredibly boring vlogs of the kids where it constantly feels like an invasion of their privacy.
I'm not sure if the girls really like homeschooling but they only said they to please ruby or they were brainwashed by her. It almost seems like they were faking how much they loved homeschooling. I think that wallpaper isn't something I think the girls chose and I think ruby picked it out. I think that wallpaper is more for older people than younger people.
