^ The (ugly) wallpaper was sent to them by the company as a freebie.

They have all this money but won't buy anything at all and only get things when they are free. That makes no sense to me. They can easily afford things but don't.
Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
yeah their mother definitely picked out that wallpaper because god forbid her children let any of their own personality shine in her house. it's so weird. I just watched their room tour and heard the disdain in Ruby's voice when she asked who put those bead art on the lamp lol. I was like girl let them be! I think they might like homeschooling though because if their experience in school is anything like shari's they have probably been bullied or teased in school.boychik0830 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 5:20 am I'm not sure if the girls really like homeschooling but they only said they to please ruby or they were brainwashed by her. It almost seems like they were faking how much they loved homeschooling. I think that wallpaper isn't something I think the girls chose and I think ruby picked it out. I think that wallpaper is more for older people than younger people.

I heard her disdain voice too. She's such a bitch. The girls didn't look too happy doing this vlog and you could tell it was all scripted. They are NOT good actors!madewitty wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 1:13 pmyeah their mother definitely picked out that wallpaper because god forbid her children let any of their own personality shine in her house. it's so weird. Wow. I was cringing hard listening to how uncomfortable both girls were delivering the scripted lines Ruby fed them. You can clearly see Abby bouncing her leg because she's so uncomfortable with it. Why can't she let them be themselves, act natural, not force them to perform for the camera.

So Shari is heavily implying that she has been accepted to college and is rooming with those girls from school. What school even sends out early action decisions mid-November, much less allows you to choose a dorm with 3 others.....as a Freshman!?!?

Sorry for the double, but I also noticed that Ruby updated her IG bio and took out her link to Kevin. I wonder if she has been told to disconnect from her family to protect everyone else's reputation. Amputating the diseased arm so to speak.
"Ruby Franke
Married 20 years. Six kids. ConneXions mental health coach. On a mission to show the world there is power and influence in motherhood"
Oh and in Kevin's IG, Russell looks like he is drowning when he swims. At what point are they going to finally get those kids a swim instructor?

They have to follow the script and say/do as Ruby wishes or she'll say they're ungrateful and take away something they like. Both she and Kevin are bullies, but Ruby is far worse than Kevin IMHO.
They know what happened to Chad and know that Ruby has no qualms about punishing them if she feels slighted in an fashion because she's a narcissist. So is Bonnie, but she doesn't even come close to Ruby's level of evil.

Well she called eve ungrateful for asking what movie they were seeing which isn't right. Then she wanted eve to say sorry which she did but ruby wasn't "listening" because on the phone with the baby sitter who couldn't make it so she had to say sorry again to ruby. There is nothing wrong with asking what movie they are seeing and she wasn't being ungrateful at all.Josette wrote:boychik0830 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 5:20 am I'm not sure if the girls really like homeschooling but they only said they to please ruby or they were brainwashed by her. She is so full of shit. I don't even know where to start with this.
"A year of strife on social media"? And just who is responsible for that? Chad doesn't even have social media anymore.

I saw that earlier and was so DISGUSTED. she's basically blaming him for what their family has endured. news flash ruby! nobody blames those kids for your shitty parenting.

He may have shown her what humility is, but she has yet to exhibit any herself.

Ruby’s post is even more disgusting because it is so apparent all the work to change was placed on Chad while Ruby and Kevin probably never looked at how their actions and parenting have made Chad the way he is. Chad seems like a great kid, it is just so sad to see that all the good things he does are not given the credit they deserve. I’m sure his straight A’s mean nothing in that house since he’s not in private school and he’s not Shari who made her whole identity centered on being the smartest person in the room. Chad clearly has a bright future ahead if he is able to prevent ruby from sabotaging it.

I want so badly to call her out. But I am too lazy to create a burner account, and I don't want all the morons who believe the crap she posts to come for me.

Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
That post Ruby made about Chad just disgusts me so much. Especially the part about 'changed hearts' and 'repentance'. Seriously, Chad was a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD BOY when they sent him away. What person in their right mind can just go on and on just acting like their CHILD was just the most evil and corrupt person before they 'repented'. He was a kid - kids make mistakes. He needed to mature and gain some knowledge. He did not need to change his heart and repent of his evil ways and all this crap that Ruby is spewing all the time. That is psychological abuse right there, to make your child everyday feel like he was evil or somehow less than human because he made mistakes as a kid. I can't imagine the kind of pressure and stress he must be under, living in constant terror that if he makes a minor slip-up he'll be back in need of repentance or whatever. Stop treating that child like a criminal for something he did when he was barely a teenager. Ruby needs to shut the hell up about a child's repentance and start thinking about the forgiveness and unconditional love that a parent should have, instead.

is he really being punished all because of a bad grade or is there something that we don't know. it's a shame that one of the smartest kids in the family gets abused and can't say anything about it. I don't think he has done anything wrong but his parents make him feel like he causes problems and is a burden.rulatows000 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 10:53 am That post Ruby made about Chad just disgusts me so much. My guess is that he started questioning their religion.boychik0830 wrote:is he really being punished all because of a bad grade or is there something that we don't know. it's a shame that one of the smartest kids in the family gets abused and can't say anything about it. Is something that denotes intelligence, especially at such a young age.
It is right to ask questions and try to understand if a certain religion is suitable for us.
But I think this is one of the biggest offenses for Ruby and her family.

I literally can’t get over how ugly their house is and Ruby shows it off on Instagram like it’s.. well, something to show off!

From an earlier post or comment I saw, Chad had friends at school that were not LDS. Through hanging out with them they talked about life/family activities and began to ask himself “why can’t we do that?” Doing this he began to question his religion in the slightest way. Kevin and Ruby saw this as the worst possible thing someone can do and sent him away. This is one of the reasons why the kids have few to no friends and minimal outside influences.Emily81 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 12:21 pmMy guess is that he started questioning their religion.boychik0830 wrote:is he really being punished all because of a bad grade or is there something that we don't know. it's a shame that one of the smartest kids in the family gets abused and can't say anything about it. I have a little experience with this growing up. When I was about Russel’s age and my sister was about Eve’s age, we played with some neighbor kids two houses down that were Mormon. We are not. After the mother found out about us, they were barred from playing we us. Their mother even called my sister evil. I didn’t understand it at the time.

So none of this was about getting revenge on him for not going back to the private school or was that a excuse that they made up.destroyedbythesun wrote:From an earlier post or comment I saw, Chad had friends at school that were not LDS.
