she had the epidural but was screaming as baby was crowning. i’ve had an epidural but never pushed so can someone please confirm, is this accurate?? i thought an epidural numbs everything and there’s no pain?? how come she’s screaming as baby is coming out then?

and what was the comment about presley and the epidural? i assume it didn’t work so she thought that was labour with an epidural but really it wasn’t?? i’m confused again.

adam’s acting is so z grade. i get the impression he’s nervous he will fuck up and incur her wrath so he comes across as wooden and staged and unnatural. that hair net thing he’s using is ridiculous. if all these other YT moms are getting their nails, extensions and lashes done, why can’t he whizz into the barber for a quick back and sides? he looks so silly with that mop. the transitioning comment above made me laugh. i do like landon’s hair longer though, he looks really cute.

I had an epidural and couldn’t feel the ring of fire, but did feel an insane amount of pressure when he came out.

Just had a babyy 5 weeks ago and an epidural and you can definitely still feel everything!! The epidural helped me to not feed the contractions as bad in my uterus but my crotch and butt felt them lol. Seriously the most pain ever I was like what the heck why does it hurt. Can confirm, I've had epidurals with both of my vaginal deliveries. First one didn't work properly. I had the ring of fire and felt them stitching me up. Second one was absolutely perfect. I couldn't feel anything.

Inductions increase the likelihood of baby being born with the cord around his neck bc it makes them hurry up and get into position. Regardless they’re not that uncommon. They occur in up to 1/3 of pregnancies. My first was induced bc I was past my due date and he had one. He actually wasn’t breathing and couldn’t be given directly to me. I guess according to Bri that would qualify his birth as SO TRAUMATIC.

I had an epidural as well and couldn't feel a thing. Not. A. Thing. They even had to tell me when I was having a contraction.

I had been anti-epidural my whole pregnancy, too. Ignorance really is bliss lol. I jumped at the epidural the first chance I had!

I feel for Bri if her epidural didn't take. It's one thing to go into childbirth knowing you don't want meds and being prepared for that. It's another to want and expect meds, and then not have them. I couldn't imagine.

That’s very possible...but I had 3rd degree tears, I am wondering if they didn’t use forceps if it would have been less painful! It was actually more pressure but I’m a damn baby and was hoping I wouldn’t feel anything at all I def didn’t scream like Bri did though, that was intense!
