Not really. American wasabi is a horseradish derivative, so it's not offensive if you're someone that likes horseradish anyway and you're expecting some kick to it.

Kinsley might have an easy time adjusting to hot/spicy food because her bio mom is Hispanic, IIRC. There's some evidence now that what a mother eats during pregnancy has long-running effects on child taste development, and authentic Mexican and Latin American cuisine definitely comes with some heat.

She totally did that because in her mind it seemed like something a pregnant lady would do. I'm shocked she didn't film a montage of herself eating pickles and ice cream. I don't believe for one second that Alex actually enjoys hot sauce on anything. She strikes me as the type to think mayonnaise is too spicy.

I don't have any problem of Alex giving wasabi to Kinsley. If she were to give it to baby Cassidy, I would have qualms about it but not giving it to a talking, walking child. She could even give it to Callie and I wouldn't mind. Unless she force feeds it, there is nothing wrong giving your children spicy foods for taste. If the kid has chance to spit it out without punishment, I'm all for taste testing. It is not dangerous.

I think he was a preacher but not anymore. I think they could afford some things due to the sell of their previous home and then Youtube and instagram ads.

You can't forget their "non profit." Which ironically since bio unicorn appeared they don't seem to be pushing as much. I'm sure we'll see it once they go back to Dr Quack trying to get non damaged bio unicorn 2.0.

They seem like the type to try and pay cash for most stuff. They also have no issues buying used items. Like their truck they bought an older one that run, they bought and older RV and fixed it up,etc. I wouldn't be shocked if their only loan currently is the house. In CA that small condo I'm sure brought at $500K-1M. I will give them, aside from the mucky non profit, they do make better financial decisions unlike a lot of YouTubers (I'm looking at you Katie and Cullen!)

You know the children she doesn’t allow to have any type of negative emotion “with a smile not a pout” that was truly over the top ridiculous

I completely agree, they most likely do manage their money well. But what bugs me is that they've only ever talked about how they purchase things in a SUPER thrifty way (I'm thinking back to when they were in their LA apartment and would talk about how they basically just acquired all of their furniture for free over the years and were always very aware of their tight budget). They spotlight these efforts and have made it part of their identity. But things have obviously changed this year - they're buying more new (and of course this makes sense, their cost of living has gone down and either way it doesn't matter to me how they choose to spend their money). But they never even mentioned their purchase/lease of their new van (if they had bought used or found a great deal, you know that would have been it's own vlog), and they clearly furnish things in their house with new items from expensive trendy stores (Alex mentioned that duvet or quilt was from pottery barn recently in an insta comment, etc.). Again, it doesn't matter to me what they're buying, it just bugs me how they only talk about the good deals that they get. Since they've made it such a point to talk about in the past, I think it would be interesting (and authentic) to hear about how they're changing gears a bit, rather than clinging to this identity that they're total thrifters.

I felt the same way!
She comes home with AMAZING news for Phil but decided to keep it to herself for 24 hours. And not only did she throw a temper tantrum (including throwing a bottle of milk at Phil, apparently) she filmed it and edited it and uploaded it for the world to see.

Why wouldn’t you be embarrassed by that kind of behavior??

That last blog was WEIRD. She either didn’t think it important enough to tell the father of her child that her surgery had been even more successful than they thought, (for a whole 24 hours), or she did tell him and they thought it would be cute to do a ‘bit’ (Phil is so fake that I can’t tell). And the bit in the middle about the milk where her own child is trying to comfort her? She honestly thinks this behaviour is adorable, doesn’t she?

Aside from the milk temper tantrum, she is being entirely way too dramatic about her “hair loss.” Posting that all she’s gonna be wearing is hats/head scarves. Jfc, it’s not even that bad. Get it together

I am brand new on here.... accidentally found this as I accidentally found Phil and Alex a few years ago.
So many things have cringed me out over the last few months.
I started to find it really upsetting that they kept choosing to include footage of their fading daughter.
Alexs' complete obsession with feeding Cassidy breast milk and how she didn't want to give up her dream. For me, I couldn't have given a shit as long as my baby were gaining weight.
Philip being so preachy.
They only ever include footage of Kinsley and Callie being the sweetest, nicest kids although we all know that this cannot be true of them all the time.
I feel that their children will never have the option to be non believers. Phil would never let that happen.
In the last vlog Phil was being crazy. Cassidy has just had all this surgery and he is chucking her about like a rag doll.
And one last thing....when are they actually going to use the straps on her bouncy chair and high chair? Cassidy isn't this tiny little immobile thing any more. Its dangerous.
