I rarely post on this thread, but YT cued up today's video.....and holy $hit these girls are incomprehensibly stupid! If I were a teen mom I would ask them to take this video down to prevent worsening the already terrible stereotypes.

They refuse to take birth control because "it is bad for you", but also refuse to wear condoms and just "take Plan B a lot". Jesus christ, it is called "PLAN B", you dimwit, why is it your "PLAN A"?!?! They then worry about that too because Yasmyn heard you can only take it every 6 months, and that it was really bad for you. The brunette confirmed the side affects are indeed awful and long lasting, but it never her stopped her from going back to it over and over again. Apparently they never thought to do a quick Google search while laying out all those hours on the beach, nor try out a BC prevention method that is safe and recommended by doctors.

What a terrible example these nitwits are for young girls. At least MTV makes their lives seem like nightmares and not paradise. I hope they lose their platform before they inspire a generation of girls to use Plan B, abortion and ignorance as their main form of protection.

Just to be clear, I firmly believe it is your body, your choice, but promoting indiscriminate sex with no precautions is asinine and dangerous. Ignoring the inconvenience of raising a child with AIDs, how can they even argue that repeated surgical intervention is less damaging and more convenient than birth control? I hope someone sends this video to the Mamma Doctor Jones to react to and provide young women with information that won't destroy their lives.

literally my thoughts. if they're gonna be taking several plan Bs from time to time, they might as well just take birth control pills on the long term, since the side effects can't be much worse than plan B's side effects. i don't know the other girl, but you can totally tell that yasmyn wants to get pregnant again, but doesn't want to make it seem too premeditated.

Did anyone notice that in Yasmyns vlogmas from yesterday, she drops a little comment about how she's been breaking out recently and she doesn't really know why. Then she talks about how she stopped taking bc a little while ago (which we knew already) is she trying to lead us onto her possibly being pregnant?

I thought the same thing. I guarantee there will be a clickbait video, or who knows maybe a real announcement, in a few weeks, especially since Yasmyn's views seem to be going down. And in her newest video, the TMI girl talk, she talks all about "natural birth control" and seems very against certain birth control methods, it's no wonder she got pregnant with Ana so quickly after beginning to date Logan and why she probably will be pregnant again soon if she isn't already.

Hi first time poster longtime lurker. that was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Brunette friend "I've never been on birth control" (really proud), five minutes later: "oh yeah I've taken plan b so many times". Did she think plan b was made of flowers and well wishes? it's meant for emergencies for a reason, you genius I also don't like hormonal birth control but I still gave it my best try and managed to practice safe sex for like 13 years with no pregnancies (and never taking plan b, go me!).

I noticed this girl is also the girlfriend and baby mama of a guy in a boyband, just like gabby (only they're still together). That's such a strange teen mom circle to be in imho. I wonder how Yasmyn feels been the breadwinner with a fiancee who is very much not in a boyband. I'm sure they feel sooo cool but I wonder if they realise they're financial situation is very different (not that a musical career is a stable long term plan obvs).

Yasmyn and Logan are the most toxic teen mom couple. There is just no chemistry or affection or equal amounts of effort being put into their relationship. She relies on her and Logan to say together forever so that HE could fulfill her dream fantasy of being a mom to a ton of kids and not really doing anything, while HE runs around and cooks, cleans, and takes care of the kids. I don't think she understands how unfair all of this is to him. The dude is a full time caregiver at the age of 19 while he should be getting out there and building a life for himself. I would HATE to be him right now. I think that some years down the line this will cause a lot of resentment and tension between them, if it hasn't already. It's all fun and games now, but when all their friends leave Hawaii and he is stuck with just Yasmyn and the kids, shit will start hitting the fan. I'm also sure that she uses the fact that she is the breadwinner against him during fights and arguments. He basically owes his entire success to her even though HE is the one who takes care of the girls and everything around the house. Even in their sit down videos together I noticed that Yasmyn often interrupts and talks over him, tries to make herself seem more mature than she is, and shuts him down whenever he tries calling her out for something. To me the biggest red flag was when Logan broke his leg, during which he said "my injury will change a LOT in our lives because I do 99% of the things around here". Like... is someone gonna tell him that's not how a healthy relationship works? I personally have a feeling that this injury will really test them. If she is pregnant right now like we are all speculating, I am almost certain that the pregnancy will break them apart. She will be heavily pregnant with two toddlers and will need to juggle keeping them entertained, teaching them how to read/write, all while she'll need to take care of her injured boyfriend and do chores around the house+groceries, etc. She will probably start nagging Logan to do more things around the house or how he's not doing enough, which will cause a lot of fights and tension between them. And if she's not pregnant, I PRAY this is a wake up call for her, which shows her that she needs to learn how to take care of herself and not rely on others to do everything for her. Because Logan could up and leave at any given second and she would be completely alone with 2 (+) kids to take care of. I used to have so much faith in this girl but she seems to be deteriorating with every passing minute. I feel bad for the babies. I would hate for Laela and Ana to turn up like Yasmyn.

While we're on the topic, Yasmyn's views have DROPPED. Like really bad. Her most recent video has only yielded around 55K views in the last day. I don't expect the views to go anywhere past 75-80K. If she was making a lot of money from her previous videos, she was making a 1/5 of that with the recent videos from the last few months. This girl's career is flopping. Even if she gets pregnant again, her views won't go past what she had in their engagement video, which I will assume is 500-600K views. And let's face it, the second she pops baby 3 out the views will drop again, potentially even lower than what they are at rn. Yasmyn needs to find a new career. ASAP. People are gonna get bored of watching a bunch of bikini hauls and toddlers playing on the beach.

I haven't watched the TMI Q&A video because I can't put myself through that lol but I saw on one of her instagram stories, she was answering someone's question about what the period app was. I am seriously seriously hoping she isn't using that period app as her birth control. The app provides an estimation for when you are ovulating and when you are fertile. I'm guessing her natural birth control is avoiding sex during her fertile days. It's a valid method of pregnancy prevention BUT you can't just rely on an app's guess based on patterns. Bodies aren't as robotic as that. All it takes is one early ovulation and she's pregnant again. Hopefully she uses ovulation tests.

The only tests Yasmyn uses are pregnancy tests I can't see her being responsible enough to use actual ovulation tests, she's hoping for a baby even though Logan doesn't want one

I totally understand not wanting to take hormonal birth control, but NON HORMONAL FORMS OF CONTRACEPTION EXIST!!! Maybe these girls are just too fucking stupid to do their research or they just want to use their anti-hormonal birth control as a reason to "accidentally" get pregnant, but they sound so stupid. The brunette girl casually saying "we don't use condoms" and Yasmyn saying "we use condoms,,, sometimes" is truly outrageous. The whole stereotype about teen moms not knowing anything about birth control is evident in these two girls and them openly embodying that stereotype is damaging to all other teen moms. There are so many other ways to prevent pregnancy besides hormonal birth control or "natural family planning" and it's just outrageous that they clearly don't know anything about them. Also... if you're anti-hormone but you're willing to take plan b more often than once every 6 months, maybe you should just learn how to use a condom.

It's even more concerning because Yasmyn has a young audience and they're hearing her talk about how bad hormonal birth control is and how she drinks some oil in her water because she read somewhere online that it helps prevent pregnancy. Condoms, when used correctly, are 98% effective. I'm not saying that they should be taking hormonal birth control if they don't want to, but the lack of consistency in her statements are disgusting. She's going to get pregnant again, Logan is going to have a third kid to cook for, clean up after, and stay up with all night while Yasmyn will have another photoshoot prop. Someone needs to tell this girl to get her shit together before everything blows up in her face.

Ugh. That's disappointing. As someone else mentioned, her young audience is now going to see her as some sort of expert in birth control and take her advice. This is not a safe contraceptive method. I hope she gets called out for it and has to acknowledge it.

I hope we find out she uses ovulation strips or at the very least takes her basal temperature everyday but I'm terrified it's just going to be "we uso condoms when the flo app says I'm ovulating". I use that same app and they very much discourage using it as contraception, because it simply isn't.

btw this is the same girl whose boyfriend "got her pregnant intentionally against her will". I never liked how she talks about it because that's a big statement to make without clarifying what exactly happened, but the more she talks about birth control the more I think they were using none at all and he just stopped pulling out or whatever (which in my opinion is different from taking a condom off mid act without her consent).

Like if she actually gave a shit about not wanting to get pregnant she would've gotten the copper IUD (non-hormonal, over 99% effective, and lasts 12 years) and would've CONSISTENTLY used condoms with Logan. Something about the way that yasmyn talks about her pregnancy with Ana rubs me the wrong way. She frames it as if she and Logan were so young and suddenly found out that she was pregnant, BUT SHE ALREADY HAD A KID. You'd think that after having one unplanned teenage pregnancy, you might be a bit careful, but I guess not.
