I thought that he looked like he'd put on a lot of weight in their recent video as well - it shows in his face. To be fair though most of us do stress eat, and he has gone through a stressful time with Cassidy's surgery - it has probably been traumatising for him as well given that he had the same heart issues.

I had the same thought- I can't imagine 2.5-4 oz of breastmilk is enough for a 6 month old baby to be exclusively nursing...unless she's nursing her every two hours? Which sounds exhausting to me. Or supplemrnting with another food source? But she made a point of saying "exclusively." My daughter was eating more like 6-8 oz per feeding every 4 hours at that age. I can't imagine she's going to sustain her weight, let alone gain weight, on that. Alex is just a simple minded person who can't wrap her head around the idea that nursing and breastmilk are not inherently perfect for every baby in every situation. It's ironic, because she needed very invasive and costly medical interventions to have this child in the first place, so she more than anyone should recognize that the human body and reproduction are not infallible. At this point she would rather he "right" than feed her baby well, because she has way too much of her ego and self-worth wrapped up in performative parenting

I'll admit, I don't cut oranges often(Okay at all lol. I don't like the texture of them.) but doesn't that typically have to be done with a sharp knife? I'm not sure I'd be bragging about letting my small child use a sharp knife(and the way it sounded was she did it on her own without them knowing) but that's just me.

I'm sorry, I am absolutely cracking up! Instagram is full of new moms showing off their body transformations after baby, and then here comes Alex bragging that 6 months after giving birth, she can finally fit back into her wedding ring.

I was going to say the same thing. How is it that my 3 year old child can wear a mask for hours at school and never fussed to put it on anywhere we go but two grown adults.. one being a nurse! Can not manage to put a damn mask on! But I was happy they went out and did that, it seems it was the first magical Christmas experience the girls have had.. which is sad since Kinsley is 5!

Don't tell me you've already forgotten about that magical Christmas when Kinsley was coached and manipulated into asking Santa for a baby sister! And then coached into repeating it once more for the camera so Alex could act touched and completely caught off guard.

Totally NUTS, the whole re-enactment bit. I wonder if she ever stops and thinks about WHY her need was so great to re-enact the last NG retrieval. Yes, it's definitely a big milestone and an exciting one but to go and make that last segment... I really don't get it. But it's one step closer to her "living her dream" of breastfeeding and having a baby that doesn't "look different", which is definitely more important than anything, like Cassidy ACTUALLY gaining weight from their new regimen, which has yet to happen. And since she's been pretty quiet on insta about it, it seems to probable that exclusively BFing still isn't going as swimmingly as she's dreamed.

Kinsley and Callie only get to share a donut while Ethan (I think that's his name?) gets a full one. They're probably just so happy to be getting any sort of treat that they don't dare complain or ask for the same amount.

Also I remember Alex saying in one of their last vlogs how the girls were eating their second candycane ever??! And then having that smirk on her face like it's something that she's proud of or bragging about!?!? She is instilling such an unhealthy attitude towards food in the girls.

And to make it all worse, that protein shake/supplement that she and Phil promote on their channel as being SUPER CLEAN (I think it's a friend of theirs in socal) - I looked it up and the SECOND ingredient in it is cane sugar!! I think she just believes what she wants to believes in order to fit into some curated image that she thinks is real.

I think that the healthy food thing is just an act. Phil is hugely overweight (and looks like he has gained more lately) - you don't get that way by eating healthy salads right?
