Tbf I have given myself food poisoning by eating some gone off meat in the late afternoon/evening, spent the next few hours and gone to sleep vomiting and feeling like death, and then bounced back the next day. But I'm also a lot younger and healthier than Ruby so she is probably lying.

I have had it both ways.. food poisoning that lasted just hours, and also that lasted almost a week. And when I had it and it lasted almost a week, I had only had a bite and another taste of it, to see if it was just me thinking it tasted off... or it was really off. You never know how food poisoning will treat you.

And could they possibly have given that poor dog any bigger pieces of meat? Could they not have cut it up? For goodness sakes, it's a good thing he didn't choke! Also, that was a lot of ham for a dog... dogs aren't supposed to have ham, because of all the salt in it... a little would have been fine, but two slabs that big, was overkill.

The cherry pie with lattice crust was definitely not cooked enough. I've baked enough pies in my life to know a raw one when I see it. The bottom crust and the top edges would be doughy.
This family has no sense in food safety or hygiene. I wouldn't accept a glass of water from them if they offered it.

That food looked gross! The turkey breast was pink inside!

Did anyone catch Shari pick up her entire slice of turkey and start eating it off the fork like it was ice cream? Why do they have such terrible manners? Can you imagine Shari doing this at a boyfriends parents house during dinner??? I'd love to see the parents faces....lol!

Because Ruby didn't take the time to teach them. Shari is old enough to know common table manners, and certainly how to use a knife and fork properly. If hasn't learned by now through observing others, she's going to eventually embarrass herself. Eating turkey that way is something I'd be more inclined to expect from a much younger child like Eve, not someone Shari's age.

Oh my god. Ruby posted on IG that she has been “verbally assaulted” for suggesting there is still hope in the world. HA. You dumb, dumb bitch. How’s that for a verbal assault?

I don't follow the vlogs as much as I used to, but has Abby started the Accutane yet? I believe they were going to start her on it in late October. It seems like her acne changes every week in terms of severity, like relatively mild (for her) one week to very severe the next week. I don't have any experience with that kind of acne medicine myself, but I'd assume she wouldn't be getting such severe outbreaks after several weeks on it.

It looked really, really bad in the IG post. You could tell Ruby knows bc she would put the camera on Abby then pull away quickly. I feel very bad for Abby bc her acne is caused by hormones and not lifestyle, so she is not in control. I do think they really tried everything before Accutane and I really hope it works for her (and Julie). They are lovely young ladies and acne can really wreck havoc on your emotions. I believe by the 6 month mark is when her skin should really clear up.

In the video ruby said that none of the kids have cellphone and I guess shari is an adult because she is an adult. They now have a family cellphone for everyone to use that stays in the kitchen. I wonder why she is ok with that but not letting them have their own phones. I wouldn't want other family members being able to read or potentially respond to my text messages. I'd feel embarrassed sharing a cell phone number with one of my friends that wasn't my own personal number.

Ruby doesn't care if they are embarrassed. If she did, she wouldn't be pimping out their acne issues or filming them when they are sick, or mentioning Abby's "female troubles".
She doesn't want them to have privacy, hence the removal of Chad's door. God forbid she should just make rules and expect the kids to follow them.
Having a cell phone is a privilege, not a right, I get that. But kids need some privacy. They need to learn how to navigate the world and make decisions. If you lock them down and keep them from having any freedom, they don't learn any discernment. My kids grew up before social media was much besides Facebook and MySpace. I know it's harder to keep track of everything now, but Ruby doesn’t even give her kids a chance.

When I was the age of the younger kids there was no social media just slow aol dial-up internet. To a extent a cell phone is a privilege but these days everyone needs one for safety reasons in case your in trouble. She bans everything as she doesn't want to monitor it. It's not that hard to monitor everything. I don't think the kids did anything to warrant losing their phone but ruby did it because she wants to have control over everything. At least they have access to a phone now. I'd be embarrassed to give someone a phone number and tell them it wasn't my phone.

I do t believe Abby has started accutane. You get a monthly blood test and it dries out your skin. My son was on it and we went through so much chapstick type stuff. Also, he got off it when football season started because at the first practice his skin was so dry it was peeling off. It worked he no longer has acne and it never came back. It can cause depression so you need to be on top of their mood changes. But back to my original statement, we would have seen a blood test or two take place if Abbyor Julie were on it. Got to exploit our kids for the vid$

All of her children lost phone privileges a year ago (minus Shari, I'm guessing)? Lol, how do 5 kids all break the same rules and all lose phone privileges at the same time? Unless it has nothing to do with them breaking the rules or their behaviors, and it's just Ruby intentionally switching the rules on them because she doesn't want them to have cell phones. Like, if you don't want your kids to have phones fine, but stop trying to pin it on the kids when Ruby obviously wouldn't let them have phones even if they were behaving well and obeying the rules.

And 1 phone for 5 kids aged 7-15 - yeah, that sounds like a recipe for disaster. Chad's 7 year old sister has access to all of his contacts, text messages, notes, games, etc, and could easily go in and send out random messages, delete important information, or do whatever she wants. All of those kids are probably encouraged to snoop and tattle on each other's stuff. Also, if any of their friends watch their vlogs I doubt they'll continue sending anything to that number now that they realize the entire family is seeing everything they send. And those poor girls, can't even talk about girl issues or boys with their friends because they know their brothers will see anything they send. It's also just pointless. I think the only reason a kid should have a phone is for safety and emergency situations. Having 1 phone for five kids sitting at home all day is just defeating the purpose. Especially with them being Youtubers, you'd think Ruby and Kevin would care a little more about their safety. They have over 2 million subscribers and anyone can find their address online. They should be more cautious than the average parent, but no, Ruby just has to take their carelessness a step further and let everyone watching know that 5 of her kids don't have a cellphone on them when they're out.

She did get the medication, but I don't think she started it yet either... as much as she was looking forward to it, you think she would have. And Julie didn't get hers yet, or at least it didn't show in the vlogs.

I actually thought her skin looked a little better in recent vlogs. But agreed on the dry skin problem. My daughter is on a very very low dose and her skin is very dry. However the dermatologist provided her with a heavy duty moisturiser for night time use and that helps a lot.

I’m still waiting for the tea with ruby and her griffiths family. Before she couldn’t go a whole video without mentioning her mom, dad, or one of her siblings (aka her only friends)... now absolutely nothing. Not even a mention while her mom was “sick.” They also haven’t said a word about ruby.

Ellie moved to south Utah, Bonnie is melting down every day, Beau’s wife posted some cryptic posts, and Ruby has isolated herself. I haven’t seen a change in Julie except she has not been over to Ruby’s. The Griffiths are the oddest family, so weird they all went into YouTube and now seem to hate it. I guess careful what you wish for.

Ruby unlinked her insta bio from Kevin too. I think they are circling the wagons. I just can't figure out if it is the same old drama, or something new is about to hit, and they have publicly cut Ruby off to avoid everyone being dragged down with her.

"The Dad Challenge Podcast" is officially trying to take down family vloggers and pass legislation to protect exploited children on social media, so the timing couldn't be better. Not a fan of the man (who believes pedophilia/exploitation is a "liberal issue", but is now calling out dozens of conservative Republican families for selling their children's image to millions of pedophiles online). Not the brightest, but I can't argue with the movement. He is calling out both huge YT influencers and Senators to support the movement. I'd love to see these kids have legal entitlement to their earnings, their image and their privacy. Not to mention protections for their education and overall safety. That 7 yr old girl Everleigh (sp?) has over 5 million subscribers, and 84% are men......it is only a matter of time before one decides that watching her dance provocatively online isn't enough and they want contact.

Also, I think Abby started the Accutane. It gets worse before it gets better. Although Ruby has edited many of the images of Abby to make her face seem clearer, and posts content months late and out of order, so who knows.

I'm thoroughly convinced Kevin is having an affair with someone at BYU. He's seldom home, and the fact that he hits the gym so frequently and cares so much about his appearance (he thinks he's the hot shit stg) is a major red flag of a guy having an affair. Just me speculating though.

I hope they do crack down on channels like 8 Passengers. Especially with moms like Ruby- who even BRAGS that the kids don't get to share any of her wealth. It's so fucked up. There needs to be a policy in place that AT LEAST ensures that a percentage of ad revenue goes towards a college fund etc; I don't get what Ruby and Kevin plan to do with ALL this money and ALL this freeze dried food when their old and their kids want nothing to do with them anymore. I know she's younger mom but damn!
