Concrete for the pool I think. I couldn’t make sense of it.

Concrete to cover the whole side easement. (More driveway, probably for that jumphouse or RV.) And for concrete all around the pool.Haulnarse wrote:What did she turn $14k down for?
$14k is a lot, but concrete work is very expensive. She will find out. She’ll probably find someone who does side jobs bd then plug them with an ad. “Click on the link below. Tee hee”.

Or she will find someone that can do it cheaper but then it will look terrible and she will complain.ReyRey61 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 4:33 pmConcrete to cover the whole side easement. I’m super behind on her videos. Simply because I don’t want to watch her use Grammy for click bait.
But I watched the Santa one and wondered something.
Why is Kaden asking for so many things if he knows Santa only brings one present? It seemed kinda weird to me. I wonder if she gives them a tonne more presents than she shows and just acts like she does the whole want/need/read thing because it was trendy when she started doing it.

OMG, she started at 7:40 and at 8:30 she was done with the school codes. Wow, that's an incredible 40 minute work time, when she doesn't have a job outside of the house. She just wants out of the responsibility to get them to sit at their computer and work for a few hours straight, because "their poor little bodies". "Oh and the devices, that's too much work, so how about I pull them out of school, then I can do whatever I want and they are less of a hassle to deal with. Uhm, yeah, no Jess, that's not how home-schooling works. The last thing your kids need is less education.
I've noticed this in my country too. When kids were at school before the pandemic, no one gave two sh*ts about how long they sat in an uncomfortable chair and how much time they spent looking at their phones, instead of at their teacher. Now that children can sit comfortably in their home on a chair they actually chose and look at the screen, with drinks ready, all of a sudden it's so bad for kids health. Interesting perspective-change, when the parents suddenly have to do more, than get them ready in the morning. I think a lot of school-reform would get passed quicker, if the parents had to have more responsibility during the school-day.

Omg poor big Caden! This is sooo embarrassing. Everyone other than Addie and Landen are too old for this crap. But especially Caden abs Lilia. Caden is in the awkward pre-teen stage and this is just cringe on another level. Jess doesn’t care about her kids as individuals and only about being the big blended chaotic family or whatever. The way both Caden and Lilia are standing with their hands behind their backs just shows how uncomfortable they are!

I watched the latest video where Chris opens a painting of his dad with Addelyn. I’ll be honest I cried. I know how it feels to lose a family member your so close to. My heart goes out to Chris because I understand how he must feel losing his dad.
What bothers me is this is an important conversation to have with a little one. My mum and dad had the same conversation with me when I was the same age as Addie because my Grandad died when I was a year old so I never really knew him. Why film it? This kind of conversation is heartfelt at best. Gotta get in the views about something that’s obviously a touchy subject to chris.
Another thing. There were times during Chris’ talk that Messs interrupted him. Let him talk! As heartfelt as that section is in the video, it didn’t seem natural. It seemed kinda staged by Jess. Like she told Chris what to say. And she said she didn’t know about the painting but I’m wondering if she did and she said she didn’t know for more effect in the video.
Again my heart goes out to Chris. The whole heartfelt moment seemed tampered by a camera and a sucky wife.

Re: JesssFam: Crying About
Same I cried as well. And the fact that Addie was upset made the moment even more special. It's obvious she wanted it filmed because she knew she could use it for a title and thumbnail to attract views. But you're right - she shouldn't have put it online. She could've filmed it just for them and showed us the painting only.lydiaruth wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:06 am I watched the latest video where Chris opens a painting of his dad with Addelyn. Oh look a selfish idiot exploiting her husband's loss of someone close (something she has never actually experienced herself)
don't think I'm going to bother watching her force him to show vulnerability for views. jesus christ

Re: JesssFam: Crying About "Homeschool" to Pay for the Pool (Pt 144)
(okay fine I watched a bit of it)
god you'd think nobody else in the world had ever grown up without one of their grandparents before?! Pathetic. They're acting like it's some sort of horrifyingly cruel horrendous force of misfortune that nobody could ever possibly process. People die. That happens. They're doing a really good job of teaching their daughter to be afraid of her own mortality.
Edit: adding a bit to this because i'm thinking through it a lot. I'm a strong believer in death positivity and breaking down the harmful fears and stigma surrounding death. Children WILL ask about this stuff on their own. And that is what they should be left to do. Addelyn should have been given the opportunity to put the pieces together in her own head about "well, mum has a mum and two dads, dad has a mum, but where's dad's dad". Like, that IS a thing that will occur to a child at some point. At which point, she can bring it up in a way that she's both comfortable with and is ready for timing-wise. Chris and Jess are deliberately leading her towards a conversation that she is CLEARLY not ready to have, and making it into something far more frightening than it ever needed to be. It's honestly one of the worst things they do and I am so not here for it.
(for clarity, I'm not saying it's not hard for chris. But the way they frame it is completely ridiculous and overblown)

Re: JesssFam: Crying About "Homeschool" to Pay for the Pool (Pt 144)
I don't understand why they would get this painting and only have it of Opa and Addie? Do Tommy and Caden not deserve paintings with their Opa as well? Or a painting for Chris of all of his kids and his dad...?
Also I personally feel like 4 is still a little too young to put putting these deep emotional things onto your child (ie, her SIDS scare and Opa's death) and then to film it all the way she does is too much. It's getting more and more icky the more genuine she pretends to be.

Re: JesssFam: Crying About
It's not even her age that's the issue in my opinion! It's the fact that she HASN'T ASKED ON HER OWN. Which is a clear indicator that she's not ready to deal with this stuff yet. It's honestly some of the worst behaviour I've seen them exhibit as parents and I find it immensely disturbing.Ghost0365 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 11:03 am I don't understand why they would get this painting and only have it of Opa and Addie? Re: JesssFam: Crying About "Homeschool" to Pay for the Pool (Pt 144)
I agree talking about it is ok to do but she needs to be old enough to ask. And then to film it (exploit it) is once again low. Just like telling her she almost died which was not long ago. Now she knows she almost died and her grandpa did die and what that means. Addie is now their money maker I guess.

Oh my god the one day of quarantine for the elves lol she didn’t even last that long when coming back from any trip. She’s such a joke at this point. The clickbait and the blatant lying is too much.
