I think Jess is bummed that none of her kids have natural red hair and so she keeps using these filters to make their hair seem Red when it’s not.

It is kind of shitty that Jessica is going out of her way to encourage a kid of that age to believe because she is going to be crushed when she finds out! Like how long does Jessica plan to keep that up?
Eh, Lilia is 10. It's around the age kids stop believing (I was 12). I do think Jess needs to tell Lilia the truth sooner or later instead of playing it up with "OMG! Santa texted you!" It's better for Lilia to hear it from her mother rather than a mean classmate.

I wonder if Caden and Tommy still believe in Santa?

Exactly she is way too old to still believe in Santa. Here in the uk, at least specifically in my area, people stop believing in Santa when they are very young. They understand it's not real. She is going into middle school. In the UK she would be going into secondary school. That is way to old to still believe.

I was about 13 when my parents told me. I know that’s probably a little old, but I didn’t have many friends, so I didn’t care much. (Some kid tried to tell me when I was 9, but I wasn’t ready to let go of it then.) I wasn’t really devastated. It was more like a natural answer. Even though I’m an adult (legally, lol. mentally, questionable lol) my parents still say the presents are from Santa, and it’s more about the spirit of Santa than the dude being real.

idk if this makes sense, lol, but every time people say YT kids are too old to believe in Santa, I get sad. They’ll realize eventually, so let them continue believing. It doesn’t hurt to be “old” and believe in Santa. Besides, Lilia is only 10. Let her have it.

I think its fine for her to believe but is she even questioning it? Like it seems the twins questioned it last year and Jess always says she wont lie to them if They ask but I guess that's only about sex.

I don't know who to quote so I will just post... I don't think it's a bad thing for kids to believe in "Santa" or the "Easter Bunny" etc etc for as long as they want... or to play with dolls and toys either... I sure as heck would rather my kids believe in Santa, play with barbie, legos, and play house at 12/13... then actually be getting ready for their own baby to be born. Kids today, really don't get a chance to be little and do all the things kids got to do back when we were kids, or our parents were kids, or their parents were kids... they are introduced to things to young and other things play into that. So, if a kid wants to be a kid, let them. That's the last thing I will be upset with Jesss about. But, if she says one more thing about Kyson's being bigger, or doesn't do something about Kaiden's speech issue, UGH!

I don't understand how Jess can call Kyson husky, point out how Kaden is small but then freak out over someone saying how skinny Lilia was (anyone remember that on Instagram). She went on and on about how its wrong to talk about weight and body image yet she does it with the boys. Is it because they are boys?

Kyson doesn't even seem husky. He seems like he's the size he should be. Its once again her picking on Drake because he's his twin, Kaden looks like Ben so she brags he is tall and thin. Kyson is the athletic one, she says because of her boob juice but he breastfed the least amount lol. Maybe he's athletic because of his dad.

I don't think a 10-year-old believing in Santa is a huge deal, it is just the level she believes. For those of you saying you were 10+ did your mom have Santa text you or set up cameras to show "proof" Santa exists? If an older kid still believes in Santa I don't think there is a need to crush their fun and tell them, but I think around 9-ish you can start leaving clues that it is you, like "Santa's favorite cookie is (insert your favorite cookie)" so they can slowly put it together themselves then finding out the truth won't be so hard. I think it was confuse Lillia because she'll be like 'but he text me?" or "But I saw pictures as proof!"

I don't know, I am probably overthinking it. I just feel bad because I worry she'll find out in a mean way. Like a classroom of 6th graders all laughing at her or something.

Also, I just had a thought... Lillia may just be acting, so that her siblings keep believing. She may not be the best dancer or singer in the world... but, she's pretty good at acting. So, it's possible her and Jesss are putting up this farce, to especially keep the twins believing... because you know they would spoil it for Landon and Addie in no time, once they knew. Especially Kaiden. He just seems more I don't wanna say bratty, but... bratty of the two. But, this is all just a thought.

I'm more surprised that at 10 years old Lilia hasn't figured out on her own that Santa isn't real. I figured it out when I was 5. It was pretty obvious when every Santa in the mall, on the street and so on always looked different, was a different height, had different colour eyes etc. Maybe I was just an extremely observant 5 year old haha but even if I hadn't been, there's no way I wouldn't have noticed this by age 10.

Janell posted on her stories that if you wear a mask and wash your hands, it’s okay to travel around CA (going to SF). Worrying that she is a health care worker

When I was little, and I questioned why there was a Santa at the mall we were at, and there was also a Santa at the mall we just left, my Mom explained that "Santa has many elves who help him out at this time of year, and they dress up like him to greet all the children, and pass along what they want to him and if they've told the truth on if they were naughty or nice" lol I believed it... because... elves. Santa has elves. I finally found out when I was 10, when I heard my Dad cursing outside, putting together my scooter... and then I found the box, by the garbage. But, I never said anything, because I didn't wanna ruin it for my parents haha!

Yess exactly. She shouldn't be comparing her kids in size at all, especially in front of her kids. All of the kids are perfect weights for their ages. Jess also needs to remember that the twins are fraternal so of course their weight and metabolism will differ. Plus some of the kids are half siblings which means that her kids will all be different from one another. But you are completely right, she shouldn't freak out over golden child Lilia being called skinny when she does the exact same about the boys. Someone above said that the kids will have body image issues when they are older and they definitely will if she keeps continuing like this. Especially with the fact that Kyson looks so much like Drake. When Kyson is a teenager he will definitely look just like Drake. I hope Jess doesn't make any comments about his looks. Because I feel like the other kids at school will pick on him for looking like his dad ( his friends will know everything about his parents and their relationship issues because it's all on YouTube.) I feel like you could sit down and watch specific Jesssfam videos for an hour or two and understand everything going on with each of the relationships. It's sad that we do know so much about the kids lives and their parents relationships and so will their friends.

Same here.I think I was 6.There were Christmas parties at church for all the underprivileged kids and families. That confused me,and I couldn't understand why Santa didn't stop by their homes, too.I finally figured it out.LOL

She said they hardly ever take “the bus” anymore because they don’t go anywhere. Oh please, give me a freaking break.

And oh yeah, Lilia’s hair had been dyed red. The dark roots are showing. Smh.
