Also I remember Alex saying in one of their last vlogs how the girls were eating their second candycane ever??! And then having that smirk on her face like it's something that she's proud of or bragging about!?!? She is instilling such an unhealthy attitude towards food in the girls.

And to make it all worse, that protein shake/supplement that she and Phil promote on their channel as being SUPER CLEAN (I think it's a friend of theirs in socal) - I looked it up and the SECOND ingredient in it is cane sugar!! I think she just believes what she wants to believes in order to fit into some curated image that she thinks is real.

I think that the healthy food thing is just an act. Phil is hugely overweight (and looks like he has gained more lately) - you don't get that way by eating healthy salads right?

Alex hadn’t been super healthy either, otherwise it wouldn’t have taken 6 months to fit back into her engagement ring - which has a split in the back to make it bigger. But she doesn’t fit her wedding ring yet. She ate a lot during pregnancy, and I doubt it was all healthy.

I also think that's just some purposely misleading language on Alex's part. Candy canes are only sold during Christmas time and it's not like they're a super popular treat to begin with. My kids are teenagers and I can probably count on one hand how many candy canes they've eaten.
So yeah, it's probably the girls' second time eating a candy cane (whoop-dee-freakin-doo), but I'm sure they've gotten other treats (from Phil and their grandparents). Honestly, Alex finds the dumbest shit to humblebrag about.

This is also a very common and insidious form of sexual discrimination. Alex is full of shallow self-praise for the healthy eating habits she thinks she forces on her kids, but all she did here was teach her daughters to feel shame over eating a donut. God forbid they publicly display enjoyment from food in front of a boy. Ethan was allowed to enjoy a donut shame-free. Kinsley and Cassidy got a lesson about needing to be demure in front of males.

Cassidy is, what, nearly 7 months? Does she sit up on her own? I understand why she probably isn't crawling because tummy time didn't seem to be in the cards given the NG tube and digestive issues. And I'm not here to judge how her development is going as a whole because I am admittedly ignorant about what milestones look like for a child with Cassidy's conditions. Baby C just seems like this meek little infant, with her sweet adorable smile but not much else "going on" so to speak. Is anyone here more familiar with what would be reasonable to expect? I'd love to hear from others who are more informed.

It’s normal for her not to be crawling yet that usually doesn’t come until around 9 months (it can be earlier or later and some kids don’t crawl at all) but normally sitting up comes around 6-7 months. She should atleast be rolling over both ways and I’m not sure if she is. Which again is probably from the lack of tummy time. I’m not surprised she’s delayed given her circumstances but she should be in physical therapy to help her catch up and I do not believe she is

Yea. The BLW purists too hate the idea that there’s a right order to introduce food too. They will say the whole savory before fruits idea is dated and not evidence-driven. They’d also be attacking her for holding the spoon. Baby should be in charge if they are truly BLW.

I don’t care Alex is doing any of that. It’s just kind of annoying she’s calling it infant led weaning when it’s a mix of that and traditional. Be upfront.

My baby had a more severe heart condition than Cassidy, had some pretty significant surgery complications and spent weeks in the hospital, but she decided to skip crawling and walked at only nine months. All babies are different, they all develop and reach milestones at different times, but I still wouldn’t expect delays solely due to her heart condition.
Her body size though, geez she’s sooo small. I think Alex wants to keep her little & doesn’t give a rats about beefing her up. It’s ok for Phil & for Alex to overeat yet they let Cassidy struggle for nutrients. Shits me!!

Is it a tour of the RV "guesthouse" (which isn't even new or interesting content since they've done no work on it since they moved out of it) as the title suggests, or is it a "how to" renovate a crappy RV tutorial, or a video trying to motivate people to make the same dumb decisions that they made? Just 25 minutes of boring old content, rewriting history, bolstering about all they think they've done and trying to desperately hold onto their identity of youtubers who RV. How could this be Alex *favorite* video lol. Shes really trying to hype it by continuing to link it on instagram over the last two days.

I hope this isn't their way of priming their next RV trip to socal for another transfer.

Last thought tonight, it's funny how now that the feeding tube is out, there's been little to no focus on Cassidy's recovery and weight gain. It was such a heavy last few months, even for viewers and it seems weird to shift gears so quickly. But thinking about it, we'd be hearing all about Alex's breast milk and Cassidy's weight gain if it were happening, so I'm assuming focusing on Alex's inability to exclusively nurse, after exhausting everything else to help fix it, isn't the type of content that Alex wants to focus on. Instead, it's a quick shift back to homesteading and RVing. I bet the next transfer is near.

Phil's shirt in the last vlog looked like it was suffocating him in the last vlog. I could also here him breathing super heavy while recording Alex. He probably sneak eats fast food when ever he can.

After tonight's vlog I have a feeling it will be soon, but not as soon as Alex wanted. It ended with her bitching about it being a crappy day then saying she needs to get pregnant soon so the new baby and Cass will be about the same age gap as K and C.
