My daughter is anaphylactic and I can confirm that she can have chick fil a. It has to do with the bleaching/stripping process. My daughter is 8 and had it for the first time last year at her allergists office. Also my roommate in college was anaphylactic to nuts as well and we ate chick fil a all the time. Obviously I wouldn’t risk it with a child that young because it’s an unnecessary risk, but that’s my two cents

I’ve never seen the video where she explains the allergies or when they found out but obviously if she keeps the dog around Scarlett and also still cooks with peanut butter and let’s her eat the Chick-fil-A , then maybe she hasn’t been so truthful about her allergy or she would clearly be effected more by what she is exposed to.

Scar's not even 2 yet, right? My kid's FIRST reaction was around that age. Just coughed like he was choking and then was fine until he threw up an hour or so later. No idea of the connection until later. He only just had his first major reaction several years later.
He complained of not really liking the taste and having stomach aches after eating Chick-fil-A (a common low-exposure reaction for him) so we didn't get it for him again. I'd say my son is still not TOO bad reaction wise but she 100% could just feel "icky" and be having reactions. Unfortunately every time they are exposed it can get worse. The last time our son had a reaction was a year or so ago - grandparents bought him a strawberry smoothie that in fine print said people with allergies have reported reactions and sure enough, his hands were itchy and he threw up. Next time due to some unknown exposure, he ended up breaking out and not being able to breathe. Scar should not be exposed at all IF they are as bad as B says they are. I don't believe anything that comes out of her mouth though

We all wish Nolan the best and that modern medicine will help him live confortably longer... but we are aware that

1 - you should not take what Brit says at face value, it's not because she says his kind of DMD is special that it is

2 - we were here a long time ago when she stopped a treatment meant to improve his condition because the side effect was that he wad harder to live with and a difficult child so we do not trust Britney to make everything in her power to ensure he gets to live the longest life he can as a DMD patient whatever she says now... she stopped steroids to avoid tantrums when they are needed to avoid rapid deterioration

3 - we know that even if Nolan lives into his forties he will be greatly dimished by his teen years and whatever does she do with him while he can actually enjoy himself ? He has never seen the sea, he wanted to go horseback riding and she never took him. The only times they take him places is for sponsored trips...


I also want to say that like everyone here I used to like her and love her content at some point... but we've been here watching long enough to have a better understanding of the situation and of Brit as a person than you can say for yourself... even if you've watched her religiously 2 years, you cannot say you know better than most of us...

I definitely wish I had a disposable income like Britney. However, I'd rather have my husband and my job (nurse) and the house we worked so hard for and out so much love into. I'd also rather go to sleep every night knowing I wasn't exploiting my kids for said disposable income. Honestly, I look at Britney and feel nothing but pity. Way more than a thousand. I live in Canada where it actually gets cold, and I recently had to buy myself some winter gear. A hat, pair of gloves, face covering and snow pants was $350. She bought all of this x2, plus more expensive things like boots and coats. She is absolutely insane at spending money.

Yes they can. CFA uses highly refined peanut oil which most PN allergy people are fine with, any allergy doc will tell you that. My son is allergic to PN and egg and can eat it just fine.
