Especially with someone like Ellie who is so clueless about how her body works. Most women I know who struggled with infertility learned everything they could about the hormones, their effects on the body, best times of the cycle for conception, etc. But I think Ellie just tunes out any "big words". What she hears when the doctors and staff speak is just that noise when adults speak on Charlie Brown. When she was talking to the office after the Mother's Day pregnancy announcement, the nurse was trying to tell her that there weren't HCG levels they'd expect with a viable pregnancy. She kept saying "but it's _there_, right?"
It just seems to me that a lot of their "infertility" could have been prevented with a little education. And I know I am not the only one who thinks Jared used Ellie's lack of basic biological knowledge to keep her from getting pregnant when they were so broke.

I only made it though half their video. Ellie looked like she’s won another battle over Jared and blathered away about how happy they are, while he just seemed miserable.

He’s getting a second opinion on his hip because one session of physiotherapy didn’t immediately fix him. Dude really just wants surgery.

Well, I think they will prove the saying ''you cannot run away from your problems'' true.

And "wherever you go, there you are".
It's perfectly reasonable to move to warmer weather and expect it to solve _some_ of your problems, like seasonal affective disorder, or arthritis that gets worse in the cold. But Ellie (and her fans apparently) believe it will solve all of her problems. Even Jared buys into this. He's posted about the beach being her "happy place". The beach is a LOT of people's happy place. Most people are there on vacation, and even for those of us who live near the beach, it's usually a day off when we're there. But moving to the beach isn't going to solve most people's problems.
Moving isn't going to change anything, really, because Ellie refuses to admit that maybe her own issues are at the bottom of her problems. She doesn't really want to be a mom, she doesn't love Jared the way a wife should, and she is a label-whore with no real taste or class. All that matters is the appearance of perfection, and it's Jared's job to provide her with the things she wants. She comes by it honestly. Her mom is the same way, and raised her sisters to be that way too.
I wonder if she wasn't so much escaping the Griffiths as trying to isolate Jared from his support. Without his parents to back him up, her crazy gets normalized.

Wow. That makes alot of sense. I could see the family attaching themselves to Ellie and Jared in a way that is unhealthy. Nice observation. Now that I think of it.... I have noticed that Ellie's sisters like to "steal" her stuff quite a bit. They will sneak into her makeup, clothes and all that. I wonder if that gets under her skin. I have a sister that has no concept of boundaries and that has caused quite a strain on our relationship in the past. I also moved away from my family. Even though I miss them, I am not caught in the middle of the drama and I am sheltered from the family narcissism. Honestly.... maybe that's why they left.

She definitely isolated him from his support system his family but also was not having it anymore with Bonnie banging down his office door daily!
Moving had nothing to do with heat!
She has an unstable personality and wants all the attention on her only!!!!
This is why she constantly runs to medical professionals, she loves the attention showered on her! In her head that is the only role Jared needs!
For someone who has never had a serious health issue she literally searches for every ailment under the sun and goes after it like hot gold!
Even the kids must come second it is always what Ellie wants Ellie gets! Scary to live with someone like that! She is a master manipulator and incapable of any compassion or consideration!

I don’t think Ellie moved to get away from her family at all. I completely agree it was to isolate Jared away from his family. No doubt they were giving critical feedback on things they observed that she didn’t like.

About the comment of Ellie’s sisters taking her things, she was just as bad. She would sneak into Bonnie’s house to take her things all the time and then would laugh about it. If it was that Jared wanted to escape Bonnie’s need for help with Bollie, then maybe he should have told his wife to step up her game and start actually helping. It was supposed to be a Bonnie/Ellie project and not a Bonnie/Jared or just Bonnie herself one.

Selfish assholes either way.

Wasn't it Ellie that used part of a gift of some skin care item she got Bonnie? They all sneak things from each other, while claiming to love each other soooo much on social media. I think the way Jennifer brought them up set them up competing for resources, including mom's attention and affection.

I don’t know about y’all, but if I had crippling eye pain of alleged unknown origin, the first thing I’d do is to stop wearing eye makeup and applying chemicals to my face. I’d also stop staring at my phone 24/7. Ellie is just dense. Dense + stubborn are the worst two character traits to combine.

Is she doctor-hopping in such a way that she sees specialists only and has no GP or primary care? I wonder if any of the doctors have noticed her horrid posture and advanced aging and made suggestions? She should’ve taken care of her anemia years ago. That and her horrible lifestyle are probably the causes of her aches and pains and whatever mood disorder she’s suffering from.

And after Jackson, she didn’t have trouble getting pregnant again right? I remember her having a few miscarriages when trying for tommy, but didn’t she get pregnant like 3 times that year?

Sorry but this to me screams how disappointed he is subconsciously! For one using the.....all because of.... is enough for me! Basically what I am reading is all because of Ellie’s wild want 356 days ago (solely ONLY HER DECISION) we are in this predicament now!!!

You can usually tell how happy a YTer is by how often they post. E&J haven’t put a video up since this one, and it barely has over 100k views. Their channel is dead. We can’t even be bothered to snark anymore.

Ellie is busy planning a house that they probably shouldn’t be building, in an area they probably won’t stay in anyway, and that they most definitely cannot afford going forward. Jared needs to wake up and put his own mental health first for one. Ellie will work him like a dog while continuing to demand more and more from him while requiring less of herself. It’s the narcissists MO.

and she is obsessed because.....just to show off to everyone, in her new house, she thrives on showing off simply because there is nothing to her but her belongings!

Why are her parents even there? ....do none of these vloggers realize that we are still in the middle of a pandemic and it isn’t put on hold just because they ‘fill’ like doing what they want? There were so many people that I didn’t mind online that this last few months I absolutely cannot stand anymore because of how they show off that they’re still living a normal life, meanwhile I can count the amount of times I’ve been anywhere that isn’t groceries or a necessity outing since March on one hand because I’m personally so scared for my own health. So Ellie said she just learned that removing tonsils doesn't treat "stuffy noses". She truly is an idiot. What are the chances she will actually take the time to go through all the allergy testing to address Jackson's congestion? I doubt elimination diets elicit the same views as kids under anesthesia. Does anyone know when they are sacrificing Calvin to his exploitation surgery?

Also, Ruby is contagious. I don't blame them for acting like she doesn't exist.
