Re: This Is How We Bingham: Rad dad and family fads! | Part 6
Isn’t this exactly how someone like Tyson Gardner operates? The lure the child and even her family in. It’s all perfectly innocent because the whole family met the young fan!
Before you know it though , the contact with the family is less, until it’s just Tyson they’re talking to.
Obviously, I am not accusing Branden of that. However, can they really be that naive that they don’t realise the need to be absolutely, squeaky clean in what they do.
They have had ringside seats to the Gardner drama. They can’t be so naive that they dint realise how this could look?
Have they interacted with this girl and not looked at the things she says about Brexsen?
Do they look at them and think it’s all “just darling” because their boys are just such “studs”!
They need to protect their own children and they also have a duty to protect their young fans! It’s about time they got some proper advice and management.

I am really quite disturbed by the instagram accounts of that girl, it's bordering on obsessive. I'm a mum to a 15 year old girl and would be deeply concerned and not encouraging this by flying in a pandemic to visit a YouTube family! The line that jumped out to me was "I know them and they know me", you don't know someone by watching them on YouTube, and they certainly don't know you. It's really worrying that the mother is enabling her daughter like this.

I agree. As I said, I have stood outside concert venues when my daughter was younger, hoping she’ll get to see her favourite band member etc. That’s different. It’s a normal teenage fascination.Angel_nix wrote:I'm honoured, thank you!RottieMama wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 10:54 pm THREAD TITLE: This Is How We Bingham: Rad dad and family fads! | Part 6

The line that jumped out to me was "I know them and they know me", you don't know someone by watching them on YouTube, and they certainly don't know you. It's really worrying that the mother is enabling her daughter like this.
When she was 15, I took her and her friend to stand outside an outdoor concert venue in the pouring rain, hoping to see her favourite band at the time - entry for the concert was 16 and over. The hotel, the band was staying in was literally across the road and I let them wait around outside the for a while incase they returned (I sat in the car which was literally right beside where they were waiting!) Their patience paid off, when one of the members came back and stopped to talk to them. He asked them if they would like a photo with him and at that moment, her phone ran out of charge! He took out his own phone and took a pic and said he would post it on their twitter for her. She never thought for one minute that he would remember to, but he did! He very sweetly wrote “to the girl whose phone ran out of charge”. It got retweets all around the world. She was delighted - I was pleased for her. Having got out of the car when he appeared, he seemed like a nice guy.
However, she knew he was a celebrity. She appreciated that he’d gone out of his way to do something nice. However, she also knew that the next night there would be another concert and other fans. She loved the band but she never imagined that she had any kind of personal relationship with them.
It’s normal for teenagers to be fans of celebrities. It’s normal to have posters or memorabilia. It’s normal for them to hang around outside a concert venue and try to catch a glimpse of them. It’s not normal to think they have some kind of connection or relationship with them.
Youtube families aren’t celebrities. Most of them aren’t even interesting. Brexsen is just a little boy. He doesn’t need this kind of pressure in his life. He didn’t ask for it and his parents certainly don’t know how to manage it.
Real, proper celebrities have management teams who deal with all this kind of stuff. They have guidelines and rules etc.
These families are so naive, it’s dangerous!

I am also extremely disturbed by the amount of money this girl has spent on "super chats" (is that what they are called?). She usually spends anywhere between 30$ to 130$...
That's an enormous amount of money! And also, whose money is she spending? Her parents? Her own pocket money?
Come on Binghams... Please stop accepting money from kids/teenagers who believe that they will become your friends by doing so...

but really just look at her instagram archives "noticed 1", "2", and "3", she literally records every time the binghams talk to her... The
Brexson part is the most disturbing to me.. one of her archives is called "my salvation"
including pictures with him 'look how perfect', (baby)
my everything forever (toddler)
I love you more than anything,
I like me better when I'm with you (pic of them together), no one is ever going to love you more than I do
This kid is my everything and hoenestly I don't know what I would do without him, he is the most amazing person I've ever met.... he is the reason I don't give up everyday, and he is the reason I'm in the fandom, he is my world and the loml my favorite person ever..."
"I don't know where to start he is the whole world to me, you are the light at my life int he darkest of times...." "you inspire me to be a better person"
"you don't understand how much this kid means to me" ....
I'm sorry but it's not harmless.... Maybe not harmless to the binghams, but to this own girl's mental health, who knows what she would do if a real boy her age she obsessed over rejected her. I don't think she is safe.

Re: This Is How We Bingham: Rad dad and family fads! | Part 6
The Binghams have to be aware of her account. Our Life in Holland commented on her post of all the pictures from when she met them this week. That means at least some member of their family has seen her account, seen that she has a section on her profile calling Brex 'my salvation' and that she has tons of edits of him. They are 100% completely aware of this behaviour and likely many of the accounts which exist like this toward their children. And they still choose to interact with these people!
If I found out a random account existed of a child I personally knew calling them their salvation, spending hours editing videos of them, posting love songs with text and baby photos, I would immediately alert the whole family and encourage them to block and report the account. If that account owner showed up to meet the child in person I wouldn't hesitate to flee and call the police. It makes me sick thinking Brandon and Mindy are encouraging this behaviour. Even worse OLIH who are actively liking and commenting on the posts.

I think the Binghams in general just don’t care about her, they see fan interaction as a way to expand their “business”, our life in Holland probably followed her because they need the followers, they don’t need to necessarily look at the account. Think about it, if you were an “influencer” (if you can even call them that) would you look at every single account that followed you or would you just mass like and comment and throw in a few follows? That’s probably the same with the tihwb, they don’t need the followers as much because they’re already big so they just try and look like cool and loving and kind to everyone. Even if they’re aware of that account, we all know how much they value Brexen... If a random girl is obsessed with him they’ll probably think it’s good, after all they have been trying to make teenage girls obsessed with Ryler for a while now.
They probably don’t care about the girl, but still need to treat her somewhat decently to not have problems with the edit girls/ fandom.
If they really wanted to acknowledge her, they would’ve included her in the golf vlog, Branden vlogs every single thing that happens and then doesn’t vlog a fan interaction? Seems weird...it’s not like they’re trying to pretend they’re safe with covid and not interacting with people...they were literally in a 3 story restaurant so packed that it had a 2 hour wait and not putting on their masks between eating and playing...
I think it’s possible that they’re aware of her disturbing account, but then again they value the brand more than their children and the girl gives them money and adoration (and we all know how much Mindy values adoration)
It’s sad and disturbing but unfortunately probably the truth...

If I had a following largely consisting of people obsessed with my kids I would 1000% look at the account of a fan who is entering my HOUSE. No, not every single account but definitely the account of someone who is spending $1000+ on notices, constantly reaching out, sending my kids gifts, and showing up to meet my family in public. OLIH didn't follow back an account because they need followers, following back fan accounts is not how Youtubers gain followers afaik. They followed her because they like the attention and want to acknowledge and reward obsession with their kids. It's disgusting.bm15 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 3:05 pmI think the Binghams in general just don’t care about her, they see fan interaction as a way to expand their “business”, our life in Holland probably followed her because they need the followers, they don’t need to necessarily look at the account. Looking at the 'Notices pt3' section of her profile, they are VERY aware of who she is and how often she talks about Brex. Even Madi seems to know who she is and has said hi to her in lives. They call her 'One of Brex's favourite fans' in one of the videos and had her letter to him on Brex's dresser. That's not treating a fan decently, that's completely encouraging her.
They never vlog fan interactions from what I've seen. I don't watch every vlog but I'm sure they regularly meet people in the streets or at stores and I've never seen a fan interaction on camera. I think that is similar with most other Youtubers in general. That doesn't say much about how they enable her, in my opinion. More about how running into fans at the grocery store isn't content for a 'normal, rad, still-of-a-dill, family'.

And they not only interact with her, they accept money from her! They are literally (one of Mindy's favorite words) pimping out their 8 year old son.lurkerthatposts wrote:The Binghams have to be aware of her account. On another subject, is it true that Ryler has to get braces again because he didn't want to wear his retainer?
I don't know why I am surprised. These are the same people who shrug over cavities and say they have no control over whether or not their kids brush their teeth. I guess dental hygiene isn't rad, epic or savage.
My kids would never have gotten away with not wearing retainers. After all the money and time put into straightening their teeth, I would kill them.

No it isn't true. Krew's adult teeth are coming in, almost done and the question pertained to whether or not he needed braces. Ryler is nearly finished with his braces.

Not true. Ryler has not had his braces taken off yet. Krew may have to have braces put back on now that his adult teeth are coming in. Ryler has his adult teeth already which is one of the reasons he's had his braces on longer than Krew has.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 8:54 pm On another subject, is it true that Ryler has to get braces again because he didn't want to wear his retainer?

Wtf do americans have braces for their baby teeth??
In new zealand they dont even start braces until your adult teeth are in. My son had his last two baby teeth pulled out and we waited 6mths for his adult ones to come in before his braces went on.

Krew’s teeth were so crooked in the vlog.. That was a complete waste of money. I get that he had an expander and that the braces were to correct the new gap and straighten his teeth but if you don’t wear a retainer after, that all gets messed up. They seemed excited about dropping another 5k his teeth.

Yea, I don’t understand either. There is no way children here would get braces before all their adult teeth are in.Haulnarse wrote:Wtf do americans have braces for their baby teeth??

They won’t even extract baby teeth to make way. Dentists don’t ever extract baby teeth here, unless there is an infection or something.
At the end of the day, an extraction is a procedure which poses an infection risk. They don’t even lift really wobbly teeth out but leave them to fall out.
My daughter’s back teeth stubbornly remained in situ until they cracked and split because the adult molar was coming through underneath. Even then, they wouldn’t interfere, unless it became infected. They said the tooth would eventually fall out itself, which it did. Thankfully she never actually needed braces.
Here in the UK, because braces are generally NHS funded, the need for braces is graded here. I mean, I’ve never seen a child who needs them turned down but you definitely have to need them.

I don't understand braces for baby teeth either. I had baby teeth pulled, but it was because my adult teeth were coming in through my palate, and the baby teeth weren't going anywhere on their own. They had to expose the adult teeth and attach wires to them to pull them down into place. My mouth was so messed up that the oral surgery department at the local Navy hospital did my surgery as a teaching case. They weren't supposed to do oral surgery on family members.
Anyway, I just don't understand why they would do braces on baby teeth. I googled it, and apparently as the jaw is still growing, it helps guide the adult teeth into place.
