If it is a pipe that broke could it have been moved/damaged from when they moved the a/c unit? Considering they would have had to move duct work for that move outside.

Although Chris getting a part without seeing inside the wall and that slowing it down plus her saying that they were going to call homeowners tells me it was a loose hose or something with their washer.

I wondering if online learning is especially hard for her because she is the “fun mom”. They are used to her just letting them do whatever the hell they want. I’m sure they are pushing back against whatever structure she’s trying to put in place.

when will messs realize that quick fixes are almost never worth it.

she got a shitty lot with a shitty builder because she wanted to build a house now.

she got a shitty surgery from a shitty doctor because she wanted it done now without having to change herself before the surgery.

i’m sure there are other examples of this but she needs to think things through a bit more and look into the quality of these big purchases instead of needing that instant gratification.

I wish Jess could hear herself sometimes. She said damage was already done and laundry needs to be done so oh well.

While I understand a lot will need replaced does she not realize making it worse could cause more damage? I would be so stressed even if it is the builders issue or the homeowners will cover the costs. But just the thought of drywall being ripped out, floors coming up and the mess alone stresses me and she is "oh well".

So she had surgery to get rid of her back pain then let her surgeon talk her into implants that are way to big for her body and also talks her into removing her tattoo and giving her a bigger scar? Jess for god sakes find your self a new plastic surgeon he obviously doesn't care he is just in it for the $$$.

Also is she still using the washing even though its leaking every where and causing more damage possibly mold? Why did they not call a disaster team to start pulling up the carpet and padding? because most likely they will have to replace the padding anyways but could have saved the carpet. I know this because our first year in our home our basement almost completely flooded at 10pm at night we called a 24 hr clean up crew they sucked up water pulled up the carpet padding up cut holes in the walls and put fans out to dry the wall and floor.. they did it from start to finish They probably have home insurance as well and that's who will most likely pay for the cleanup crew and for everything to get fixed. We paid a 1,500 dollar deductible they paid about 6,000. Good luck ever reselling your house with mold Jess. And this could have been leaking for months with out them noticing so their could already be mold spores which sucks because they will sheet off those parts of the house untill its livable again. Sorry end of rant .

It’s unlikely that would have been the cause, because of where the leak issues started. It’s likely just some of the pipes leading up to the laundry room.

No doubt. I’ve been watching my niece and nephew because my SIL has finally been able to go back to work and I am not working. I’ve always been the fun aunt, but transitioning into the school aunt was hard. My nephew told me I was more fun outside of school hours. We have our routine now—I’m stern during school time but once assignments are over I’m the fun aunt again.

The way their lot was flooded/swampy before they built on it would have been a huge red flag for me. It seemed like water pooled. All it’s going to take is a few decent rains for that dodgy build to shift.

And grass would have at least soaked in some water but it will be worse with all the concrete pads she wants instead of giving her kids a backyard (not that there's much of that even before the pool).
