Wedding updates from today's video:

-Yasmyn and Logan found a venue, but it wasn't one that it was shown in the venue searching vlog. It is near a beach, in true Yasmyn fashion- staying true to that beach aesthetic! Apparently the money spent towards the venue will go to a good cause. It's like 99.9% certain the wedding will be there.

-Yasmyn and Logan are planning summer style foods to be served- tacos, sliders, wings, etc.

-Reception will probably be on the beach and in the sand, it seems like that's what Yasmyn wants.

-Yasmyn and Logan are almost done sorting out their wedding parties. Logan apparently has a couple more people than Yasmyn...so she said needs to find more people to be in hers.

-Logan and his groomsmen will wear coral- but I think it may just be ties. Yasmyn's bridesmaids will wear blue.

-Once they book the venue they will send out invites. Looks like it'll still be in August based on what they've been saying. They also have the guest list down.

-Yasmyn is still complaining about having nobody to do the father daughter dance with. Logan suggests her having a dance with Laela instead.

That's pretty much it! I still think them getting married is a bad idea...but to each their own.

They will have a big ass wedding and pretend there's no pandemic. depending on the ciritism they get they might tell some lies about quarantining beforehand or providing tests for everyone. to be nice, in august the virus will probably be back on the "lower" numbers just because of the summer.
and to be honest, If I wouldn't have grandparents a certain age which I need in my life as long as possible...I would be jealous of how americans can pretend there is no issue going on, still going to restaurants, going on vacations, having big celebrations..having fun. we are in months 3 of the second lockdown in germany and there is nothing left to do than walking outside and going to the supermarket. and our supermarkets are all tiny, so not even as much fun as a walmart or target!

I find it so amusing that in Hawaii that she pretended to be so conscientious about the covid regulations, and it was probably easy since all she did was go to the beach and she had no friends, but the second she landed back home after THREE FLIGHTS she was out having NYE parties adn hanging out with her friends all the tiem.

Yes it seems like it based on the video. And if you think Yasmyn and Logan care about the pandemic you're sadly mistaken. These are the same people who moved to Hawaii when cases were at their peak, then moved back and took like 3 flights, then went to a NYE Party right after. They're so selfish you'd never guess they had two small children.

Boy are they a mess. So, Logan's in love with her kid, while Yasmyn is in love with his stable family life. What could go wrong? I mean, he said "she is the most closed minded person he has ever met", and he couldn't handle her constant breakdowns or having to be the nanny of 4 kids. His friends are the most important thing in his life, but Yasmyn declared that they are too mature to spend time with friends and isolated him. A match made in heaven!

I watched today's video against my better judgement after usually just checking in here for regular updates. Yikes. When she said "I hope it's the one" I think she was talking about her marriage as much as the venue. Whatever is going on with her mother sounds bad, especially if she is refusing to see her grandmother and sisters because she might be there. I noticed that Yasmyn gets to run off with her friends to Maryland to have time alone while Logan watches the kids. Has this always happened? Did she only banish his friends from their life?

It also bothers me that she drives all the way out there to visit a grave and see several friends, but she only pops in to say hi to her sisters. They are too young to be shown they can't trust anyone in their life to follow through and be there for them. She should just stay away until she has her own $hit together. I wonder if they are invited to the big seaside pre-divorce taco bonfire, or if they are still being held responsible for their relationship issues and are banned like her mom. I would have thought a dance with all the sisters would have been a nice way to adapt the traditional "father's dance". Hell, you add Laela and Ana, and that is the blood of 5 different fathers represented in the circle.

Also, who is Caroline? Is this some new friend she is trying to woo to get a bridesmaid in time for the wedding? She didn't even know not to call her "Carol", LMFAO. The fact that she has so many issues keeping friendships is a huge red flag. Has she ever maintained a successful long-term relationship with anyone in her life? Parental...no... sibling...no....boyfriend....no....aunt...no.....friends....no. Let's hope her kids are the first relationship she doesn't give up on and run from. Maybe Yasmyn will put therapy on the wedding registry, because she has a lot of work to do.

I genuinely want to see her succeed, but every week that passes, things just look more and more bleak. She is slowly becoming everything she was trying to avoid. Please tell me these two aren't into any mind altering substances.....

I feel the most bad for Yasmyn's sisters too. They're like 10 and 7 years old I believe, they've been through more than any kid should have to be. They are going to need serious therapy when they get older. I do hope they break the cycle though and don't become addicts like their mother or become a teen mom like both Yasmyn and their mother.

I’m real surprised she hasn’t cut ties with her mother already tbh. She’s been dealing with her mom’s addiction for her entire life! With how unstable her mom seems to be, I can imagine why she wouldn’t want her around her or her kids.
That being said... if it wasn’t for YouTube, I feel Yasmyn would go down the same path. Like, if it wasn’t for keeping up appearances, her and Logan would be over and she’d be onto her third baby daddy. And she’s a stoner.

For sure...and from what it sounded like Yasmyn was about 14 when she lost her virginity (she said she was a freshman iirc) which makes it even crazier. I agree I think she really had a hard time and her upbringing really affected her.

Yasmyn said in a way that there was a phase in high school where she just kind of hooked up with anybody which I guess explains it...but I think she did that to make up for what was going on at home. AND she moved to Delaware at the end of her sophomore year, which means most of her bodies were within a little less than two years. I bet this "phase" was really when she was struggling at home before finally moving away.

I think Yasmyn makes a lot of bad choices but this is just sad to think about. I'm glad she moved to Delaware when she did because if she didn't I sadly think she would've been just like her mother by now.

IIRC during her partying and hooking up phase, she was assaulted by two boys and her mother and grandmother blamed her for it, so she called her aunt and moved to Delaware.
