I thought the last video was nice actually. That and just the tribute from the other video would've been perfect in this situation imo. She was so much more toned down and easy to watch compared to the manic front she keeps up in her regular videos. It's clear she loved her grandma very much. I think she's just really good at hiding her true feelings, putting up a front for her 12yo viewers and some questionable life choices that make her seem more obnoxious and immature than she actually is off vlogs.

So here we go again. Back to her “Here’s my Story” posts and vlogs. Always there for when she runs out of material and needs more views.

Do you think that any of the family vloggers that rely on youtube for all of their income have a financial/ job plan for when it all comes crashing down/ their kids grow up and leave home/ their kids downright refuse to participate? I know people hate on Aaryn Williams but at least when she did youtube it was only side income for her - Nick has a business (and their relationship seems so much healthier because of it).

I think Chris is a good guy, and I really think he loves Jess's older four kids like they are his own. If something ever happened with them as a couple I can't see him ever pulling a #fatherof3 like Frank did. He definitely needs his own thing though, a job, or a volunteer position or something outside of the house though.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve watched anything from Jesss and I thought the life update/Grammy video was actually quite nice. I miss when she used to do sit down videos. They were a nice break from the same old vlogs.

I notice she seems to do it when things are stable with Drake seeing the boys. Otherwise she makes her drama by bashing his lack of commitment to them. Whenever there’s no gossip to the relationship so she does a “here’s my story, and here’s all the goss about my *horrible* ex husband” to get people talking about him negatively again. I noticed she barely mentioned Gabe in the instastories. But that’s probably because he’s not the bad guy and she can’t create drama (aka fan interaction) by talking about him. Drake is the only thing that consistently gets her views up, which makes her money. And that’s what she wants when she doesn’t have drama like Grammie passing away.

I think Chris is a good guy, and I really think he loves Jess's older four kids like they are his own. I think Chris is a decent guy, he has his flaws but I’m sure if my whole life was plastered on the internet for all to see people would find many flaws. I don’t agree however that he loves Jess’ kids like his own. The way he treats Addie vs the other kids really bothers me.
He seems to be the strict parent (which I think is a great thing, because Jess has no rules) but with Addie, that all goes out the window. He buys everything she wants, she does whatever she pleases and even Jess has said plenty of times he has a “soft spot” for her.
He also doesn’t help with the older kids. Jess takes care of all their schooling (while filming and editing and taking care of their livelihood), she’s the one who wakes up early when they have to, she drives them to and from their activities most of the time, etc.
I did think he was very sweet when the boys all went paintballing with him, they loved it and I think it was great.

I agree. And I noticed when Chris was telling the boys about the safety rules of paintball, at the paintball place, they were actually listening and not acting all foolish.

Second episode of the podcast, they're sharing their "first time" stories. Has Jess ever said how old she and Gabe were when they first had sex? She says repeatedly in this podcast that they were "too young" but won't say what age. To be honest, this podcast is what JustJesss should have been. There was no need to tell these kinds of adults-only stories on camera; it's more podcast material anyway. But I do think they're going to run out of stuff to talk about eventually, especially if they just stick to the X-rated stuff which seems to be their plan.

I don't know if shes shared her age but I think she was put on birth control at 14 (and yes I know some teens get it for bad periods). Weren't her and Gabe together at 14 or was it15?

Not saying you're incorrect because there hold be many reasons but this could also just have a lot to do with addie being the baby and being a girl. He seems to do a lot more parenting of the boys because Gabe is so involved in Lilia's life (so I understand him not wanting to step on any toes) But a lot of parents, especially fathers are just tougher on boys. I don't think it's fair, but its common.
At the end of the day, no step parent can actually love a child "like their own" because they're just not - but Chris seems to come pretty dang close, in my opinion.

I do think Chris is different with Addie because she's a daddy's girl but also remember he saved her life. I think he also has trauma from that and so she can't do any wrong in his eyes because if it wasn't for him she wouldn't be here.

I’m 30 and a proud daddy’s girl. I can do no wrong in his eyes. My brothers on the other hand were never given a shot. They are 8 and 10 years older then me and my parents had them while teenagers. I came along much later in life. My mom also babied my brothers and so I think my dad felt he needed to be tougher on them since she was so soft with them. I think it’s probably similar with the boys and Chris. He needs to give them discipline and stuff because Jess never does
